Not free returns
Bought an item online, paid for delivery, item was too big so proceeded to return to find I also have to pay for the return. £3.95 for delivery + £4.95 to return means I’m £8.90 lighter with nothing to show for it.
My intention was to exchange for a smaller size but out of principle and to avoid the chance of the smaller size also not fitting satisfactory, and having to pay for another return, I decided to go for a refund instead.
I appreciate there’s a huge problem with people buying large quantities and returning goods which is at the cost of retailers, but as a first time shopper here and buying a single item, it’s put me off retuning which is disappointing as I really liked what this retailer had on their site
