I used Papara for a while because it’s…

I used Papara for a while because it’s convenient for online payments, but recently I had an issue with a transaction and the experience wasn’t great. It took quite a long time to get a response from customer support, and the answers I received didn’t really solve the problem.

Very poor service, clients cannot use it!

I was a Rebellion client, bank that closed and business was transferred to PAPARA on December 2023. They promised PAPARA bank service would be operative in April 2024, now is July 2025 and the bank is still not operative and not usable at all!!! Unacceptable

I sent money to papara from my bank…
I sent money to papara from my bank account same name as my papara account they stole my money and saying the name of the bank account is different from registered name in papara. I keep sending and talking but the dont read they just copy and paste like bots… SCAMMERS

Papara Compromises User Privacy – Unacceptable Data Practices!

I am deeply disappointed with Papara's handling of personal data and their collaboration with Jetlogi, a logistics company that collects and stores user ID photos without a valid legal basis.

When I requested Jetlogi to delete my personal data, they responded that my Papara Card would be deactivated if I insisted on my right to data protection. This is a clear violation of user rights and an unethical practice that forces users into compliance by threatening them with service restrictions.

Papara should take full responsibility for ensuring user data is not stored unnecessarily by third parties and should provide transparent information on data processing. Holding users’ ID photos indefinitely through a logistics company is neither safe nor legally justified.

If Papara truly values customer trust and compliance with data protection laws (GDPR/KVKK), they should immediately stop forcing users to surrender their data under the threat of service cancellation. This is a serious privacy concern, and I hope Papara will take action to fix this issue.

🚨 I strongly advise new users to reconsider before trusting Papara with their personal information. 🚨

It was one of the worst experiences I've had in my life. The company that constantly praises itself in the domestic market and says it can make payments abroad also charged me 100 Euros for a cash request of 500 Euros. I don't know where in the world 20% commission is seen, but never trust this organisation.

The most impressive Bank Account you will find anywhere. Prompt and amazing customer service (English) Always found helpful with excellent follow up.

Whether your an Expat or Student etc PAPARA is hassle free swift and well equiped to deal with all your banking needs than any other bank in Turkiye.

I don’t recommend I have been trying to talk to there English helper for two weeks when I call they only say they will call back as soon as possible but it’s been two weeks they haven’t called so unprofessional fastrating and stressful I don’t recommend at all

Paparayı öneririm.

Bazen olumsuz deneyimleri, ya da ufak tefek sorunları eleştiriyorum ama genel olarak Paparayı seviyorum. Güzel bir uygulama. Biraz yavaş da olsa kendisini geliştirip yeni özellikler ekliyor. Türkiye'deki en iyi fintek şirketi diyebilirim. Web sitelerinde Papara ile öde seçeneği çıkarsa, ve bir de bireysel kullanıcılara papara ödeme linki verilirse çok daha kullanışlı olur.

They deactivated my account for no reason, then they asked for the number belonging to my brother. My brother said I don't have any documents to send to the fraudsters and Papara said let's change the number with NFC method, but he didn't do it, they still repeat the same thing, I say delete my account, they say no, we can't delete it before the account is opened, the fraudsters we know have paid more than 105 TL, they keep telling me. Every month you do not log in to the account, 9 TL will be deducted. Account login is not possible. They do not understand this. PAPARA MEMBERSHIP IS A REGRET. I WILL DELETE EVERYONE FROM MY FAMILY!

Papara card and getting verified adventure.

After some time using the Papara card I decided to apply for verified member.
So I ordered a new card (don't know why ordering a new card is necessary, but ok.)
Courier delivered on April 1.
However their system said my card is in transfer....
Courier took photos of my identity and I had to sign some documents. Untill today still not verified...
I received an email today with their solution: again five my address details so they can send a new card😂.
That implies again waiting for courier submitting my documents and then what?
I kindly refused and will use other, more professional prepaid card system.

(Probably the root cause is their Courier service which has lost my documents. What happened with my documents???).
I don't know about Turkey but in Europe unsafe handling of identity documents is crime...

Please think twice before using Papara.

Heads up for foreigners!

If you've just moved to Turkey, either as a student or an immigrant, you'll find Papara super handy!

When I first got here, I was kind of stuck without it. Most places for paying bills or subscriptions they ONLY ACCEPT Turkish bank credit cards, and my EU cards were almost no help.

That's where Papara came in, it was a lifesaver! It's pretty much the Turkish equivalent of Revolut, and they're constantly making it better.

The only downside for me is that I can't use all its features due to my nationality. But overall, it's been a big help! 🙂

Kullanışlı ödeme yöntemi

uzun süredir papara kullanıyorum. banka kartımın temassız özelliği yok ve bu konuda fazlasıyla işime yarıyor. çok çeşitli kartlar var ve kendi kartınızı bile tasarlayabiliyosunuz. netflix spotify gibi ödemelerde de belli bi miktara kadar para iadesi yapıyorlar. papara kartından banka kartına para aktarma işlemi oldukça hızlı ama banka kartından paparaya para attığınızda birazcık zaman gerektiriyor. genel olarak gayet iyi bir hizmet olduğunu düşünüyorum

I am a Rebellion Customer which close on 6/12 and transfer to Papara. Ok no problem, BUT i got cripto there and they don't let me transfer it to another bank account (and we are....a lot of thoses Rebellion affected). So if you're in charge now of the customer database and portfolio of that bank you should take care of former customers. I am very upset and we're seeing from Spain to have a global action as we are thousands of despoiled people from our crypto-currencies. A SHAME.
