Mortgage Restriction Experience
We were recommended to use this company by our solicitors to complete an ID check relating to a restriction on our mortgage. The online booking process was straightforward and easy to use.
However, the cost of £250 for a 10-minute appointment felt quite high given the limited work required to complete the check. The confirmation emails also state that if a client is late, a new appointment must be booked at a further cost of £250. Despite this, the solicitor had still not joined our virtual meeting 10 minutes after the scheduled start time.
As we had taken time away from our own work commitments to attend the appointment, I called the office to confirm that we were waiting in the meeting room. Shortly after this call, the solicitor joined the meeting — approximately 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.
The solicitor was friendly and helpful once the meeting began, but given the cost of the appointment, the delay and overall experience did not feel reflective of the level of service we expected.
