Horrible Experience

Thank God. Their representative is finally picking up their equipment, ending this nightmare. Haven't been able to use Paradise since the install in November 2025, yet they still continue to bill. Contact us before you commit at Sommers Place 334-279-5401. By the way, I have never heard from a Paradise representative about all our issues.

We have multiple calls that we can share with you not only showing that Paradise POS did reach out but we actively tried to resolve an issue that was not caused by Paradise POS. Your purchase was made through a 3rd party as was the installation. We made every effort to help get this resolved for you and are still willing to help. The pictures you sent of your set up including power strips sitting on top of your access point gives a lot information about the issue. unfortunately these were mailed after pulling the system out. They have the best support !

I can not speak highly enough about Paradise customer support! I mainly have dealt with Tamara and Raymond and they have always been professional, kind and so helpful. Not one time have I ever felt like I was bothering them or felt stupid for the questions I asked. They are quick to help and know what they’re doing. I’m always surprised at how quickly they can walk me through something or fix it for me. I’m so very thankful for you all! Thank you for the best support we’ve ever had with a POS system!

Fantastic POS!

After searching for years to find a solid agnostic POS partner, I finally found Paradise POS and they've been an absolute pleasure to work with over the years. Luke is a fantastic main point of contact for us and their entire organization has helped us grow year over year. We highly recommend!

Paradise Payments is Outstanding

Paradise Payments made it easy to install right out of the box. They preloaded our menu and got the system configured even before I received it. The system is easy to use and easy to make changes to. Support to learn the system, tech support, and general support are outstanding. Anyone I talk to is knowledgeable with a positive attitude.

If I could give a -10 I would

If I could give a -10 I would. This is the worst POS system. Absolute trash. It’s beyond the pits of despair. I regret ever talking to their salesman Rusty Drake. Seems like it’s been a complete scam. It has not worked properly since install. It’s been lie after lie from Rusty Drake in Birmingham, AL. It’s been so bad I need to seek legal advice. Nothing is right. Nothing calculates right. Buttons work one minute and don’t the next. Edits and updates I do disappear. No matter what code I’m using. Job role assignments change over night and sometimes daily. We cannot stay on the internet with this system but had no problem with the other. I would rather personally handwrite and calculate every ticket for every person that walks thru my door than to have this garbage that does not work. Everything you said it would do were more lies. Is everyone with the company a snake in the dirt? I have been in the business 32 and swapped pos systems many times and helped create it and I’ve never seen anything like this is my entire life. I can’t believe you are allowed to sale and install this garbage. I can’t even say anything bad enough to resemble the mess this has caused. Over $15k in sales lost. Promises that someone is coming to fix it tomorrow only to be told they’re not coming and basically it is what it is even though it doesn’t work and we will not be able to use it like this. I will have to find another pos company and payment processing company. Over 100 hours of my own time put into something I’m gonna bust with a baseball bat in my parking lot and put on tik tok and every other social media platform educating other restaurants to not even consider this. Rusty Drake and Paradise POS should be ashamed of themselves. This is beyond ridiculous

System is unreliable

System is unreliable - constantly calling tech support. Trying to get tech support is a pain which could shutr down your business for hours - this is from experience. When you do get them it take about 20 mins for them to troubleshoot - thats great when you have customers waiting. POS is another meaning for paradise system06

Beware

Beware! This system is the biggest piece of junk! Spend at least 30min-hour getting it set back up, online and whatever else has happened overnight to it. Impossible to learn to use. Tech support is terrible and not worth the time trying to talk to them. Please listen to us. Do not waste your time with this system it's a waste of money and a continual headache. We have lost multiple sales due to this POS "piece of S&%$". $7275 to be exact from people getting tired of waiting for their so called tech support to call or restore the system. Again STAY AWAY FROM PARADISE POS!

Honestly this is the most trash system

Honestly this is the most trash system.
Support has issues with determining which system you are using on multi system platform. I usually spend the first 30-90 min of my day with support generally to no avail. Systems have issues merging with one another the majority of the time. If 2 servers use the same terminal it will not determine cash counts and proper tip out or cash owed.
Buttons disappear after programming new items. Servers run their shift reports then new tickets appear (A shift report can not run unless all tickets are closed), support is unable to determine why. Customers have come in because their cards were not charged…even tho i ran the card myself. I you need help flopping your business. Paradise certainly can do that for you. 15 years as an owner of multiple restaurants, inherited this pos (no pun intended) and so glad the lease ends this month. Save yourself the stress and aggravation and stay the heck away from this garbage.

It's not been paradise!

I used the paradise point of sale because my bank referred them. When researching and asking the company if their system would perform tasks I need done, it was all yes! When I received the system, it was a joke. The only nice thing to say is the employees are nice to talk to. If anyone uses this system and can help me navigate through the issues, please reach out!

THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND THEY WILL NOT DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISE. READ THE CONTRACT, iT IS A 2 YEAR NON CANCELABLE CONTRACT, THEY WILL SAY " YOU CAN CANCEL AT ANY TIME BUT OUR PRODUCT WILL BE SO GOOD THAT YOU WILL NOT CANCEL" DO NOT TRUST THEM. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM. scam company avoid it at all cost!
