I bought my parking space but when i returned to the app the information was missing. Leading me to have to scramble and find parking elsewhere in a short timeframe.

The Ottawa location at 400 Cumberland was fantastic. In the middle of everything and so cheap.

Lack of clear instructions on how to use

Here are some tips based on the issues I encountered when using this parking garage for the first time:

1. After scanning the QR code on the wall, I expected it to open a webpage where I could perform actions like "open/close the garage door," "enter my license plate," or "link a payment method." In reality, the QR code simply contained instructions to send a specific text message to a certain number in order to open the door. In retrospect, this method might actually work better when the mobile network is unstable. Still, minus 0.5 point.

2. Because the weather was cold, I just took a picture of the QR code and sent the text message from home later. After sending the message, I received multiple prompts over the course of an hour—about every ten minutes—asking me to link a payment method. But I was only trying to do a dry run to see what would happen next, not actually standing in front of the garage door. So I had no idea the door might have already opened upon sending the message. There were no clear instructions about this—neither on the wall outside the garage nor anywhere obvious on parking.com. Minus 0.5 point.

3. I only figured out that “sending a text message opens the door” when I was actually ready to use the garage for real. After parking, I had no idea how to get out of the garage. Naturally, I went to the only elevator inside and took it to the ground floor, only to be scolded by a building staff member (security) who told me, “You can’t come up this way—you have to exit the way you came in.” So I had to walk back up the garage ramp, the same way I entered, and send a text to open the door and leave. Note: there were no signs near the elevator saying “Do not exit this way!” Minus one point.

So far, I don’t have any other issues.

Confusing and not intuative.

We scanned the QR code to get into the garage door - that all worked. Then the second that works, a timer starts going automatically. We don't get asked what car we drive or our license plate or anything of the sort. It caused a lot of havoc bc we weren't sure if the garage door would open if we don't put in a credit card, and we wanted to ensure our car didn't get a ticket or booted because the site didn't ask us which car was ours. Customer service was helpful in trying to fix the problem and also issuing me a refund but overall, it was a confusing and stressful issue. My 2 suggestions would be : 1 - when people originally scan the QR code to open the garage, it ask the driver to put in their license plate and car model before showing the timer. 2 - ask the driver to download the app instead of scanning the QR code. The app was much better than the website since the app actually asked for the timeslot you want to park for and the car model and plate.

Height 5’4 wasn’t noted when booking. Truck wouldn’t fit. Paid for parking I couldn’t use.

Glitchy app reservation

The online reservation system is glitchy, and parking is very tight.

Completely useless

I booked the spot, and the app/website didn't work. It said the parking was monthly only, when the representative said it was daily as well. This site and it's service were completely useless.

Full day parking only

I paid for the full day and when I showed up the lot was full, the attendant there was nice enough to let me park in a random spot out of the way- but don’t charge the same rate for a few hours that you charge for a full day(you’re just going to annoy people who think there’s an available spot)
