Horrible experience. Was charged $20 for 45 minute parking because the ticket machine ate the parking ticket and wouldn't let me out. Customer service said there was nothing they could do.
The experience was done quickly, and with no issues. Thank you, since I was very embarrassed!

All posted signs incorrectly say to pay before going to your car. When trying to pay at the exit, it would not accept either of 2 credit cards. I had to call for help which took several minutes to handle the problem while a car behind me had to wait to exit because there wasn't another way to exit to Clark Street.

I was trapped inside the parking garage…
I was trapped inside the parking garage for a long time because the automat wouldn’t take my ticket. The assistant was helpful but I could hardly hear her voice which prolonged the situation and was extremely frustrating.

The machine at the exit took my card and didn't return it, so I called an assistant, who had a hard time with her password working and being able to access what she needed. It took about 10 mins for her to send me a link to pay in which there was a .99 service fee. It's not the amount that bothers me, but I was inconvenienced by a malfunction in your machine and was charged to pay you. I use this garage several times a week and have had difficulty exited many times.

When I rang the bell for assistance, it was hard to hear/understand the first couple of customer service people and they just hung up. The third person was helpful, sent me a link to pay but I had to pay $18 plus a service fee of $.99 because of a lost ticket even though I did not lose the ticket - the machine kept my ticket. There should be a way to view the surveilance camera as to when I entered/exited the parking lot because I was asked for my license plate (which I did give). Others that I know that entered the same lot at the same time/exited the same time as me only paid $6. Big difference from what I paid!

Very bad experience
To exit I put in my ticket. The message said it could not read the ticket and spit out the ticket. I called for assistance. I was told I owed $1.00. I was asked for my phone number so that I could be charged. I was sent an email and was charged $3.99. I paid it to avoid further hassles from you. But in Sundays parking is free—I am owed $3.99. Please send a credit to my credit card company.

Nothing works in this lot
Could not pay at self pay because credit card function was not working. Could not pay at exit because screen appeared to be frozen. When I used this lot a couple of weeks ago, a previous customer's ticket was jammed in the exit machine. Both times I had to call to be able to exit, both times it took at least 15 minutes to get out of the lot. Will not be using Church st lot again.
I used to use this lot regularly 4-5 years ago and never had any problems.
Horrible
Horrible! Machine would not accept credit cards…called service and received unhelpful and confusing directions. Machine eventually swallowed our parking ticket—-the operator told us she could open the gate only if we paid for a “lost” ticket. The $3 parking fee now costed us $20.

Double payment
I tried to live parking on Church Street in Evanston a few minutes before 1:00 pm 10-11-2023. When I put ticket in the message was something like "Wrong ticket" . I tried few times without any success. I made a call. The lady took my information and opened the gate for short period of time that was not enough for me to sit in the car and fastened the belt. I decided to use a next exit . Everything worked OK and I left parking at 13:18 paying $5.00. Then I got email that I have to pay about 6 dollars. I paid and explained what was happened at the gate. The answer was "It was not your car" or something like that.
A year ago it was almost the same situation.

A terrible experience. I paid for my parking at the kiosk inserted my ticket to exit. The ticket could not be read. I contacted the attendant. After numerous attempts to read my ticket, the attendant secured my information and subsequently required an additional payment. I have proof that I paid twice for my parking plus an additional service fee. Horrible experience.

I parked in a lot in Evanston Illinois
I parked in a lot in Evanston Illinois, owned by the City of Evanston, to which customer services are supplied by Parking.com. When I tried to exit the garage, my ticket was not accepted by the parking payment machine at the exit. I pushed the button for assistance, and the operator who answered gave me a link to pay on line. The listed price for the time I was in the lot (1 hr, 20 min) was $3. I used the link given to me, and the charge listed was $15! Rather than pay that amount, I pushed the assistance button again. The operator who answered this time charged me $5, which included a "service fee" that I had to pay because the garage issued me a faulty ticket.
