You may even receive some of the money you have paid them, and at best, these people will be sent to jail where they belong. If it wasn’t for that video I would’ve fell for their scam.
ALL of the positive reviews were made by the scammers. THEY HAVE ADMITTED IT!

PENGUIN BOOKWRITERS SCAMMING OPERATION.
They published my book "Wordle Limericks" and posted it on Amazon. Total sold in 1 year exceeded 2,000 copies. My royalties $0.00000. Amazon does not pay authors directly but pays the publisher. They kept all my royalties. Josh Baker repeated lied to me about this. He is part of their expert team of scammers. They may publish your book, but thereafter they will steal every penny your book earns. PEGUIN BOOKWRITERS are a total scam operation. It's time the FBI look into them.

They scammed us out of over $500,000! We had a new book about neanderthal cuisine. a Carnivores paradise. A Pakistani specialty

Even after reading the previous reviews I gave them a try.. and I regret it.. there is so much to this.. but even after I told them I did not want any hidden cost to pop up out the blue they continued to surprise me with another cost and another cost. They made a deal without my knowledge and tried to get me to coming the deal without a Barnes and nobles somewhere in Texas and wasn’t even opened yet. When I spoke to Barnes and noble’s headquarters they knew nothing about my book. They tried to get me for almost 8k. They did get the book done, but it was a million revision, the ghost writer was horrible so I did it myself. I had to keep specifying the same thing over and over. It’s amazing that since I did not take the offer they won’t return my calls or respond to emails. They told me that there were many companies that wanted my book on their shelves and that was a lie. They have a great way of hyping you up and I fell for it.. it’s my fault.. originally I should have come out of pocket 4500, I ended up paying them closer to 7k… please do not do any business with them.. if you say something about the reviews they will paint a different picture to throw you off. They wanted to build me a website and charge me crazy amounts of money, I told them I had one and yet they could not use mine, or transfer to combine. Then they tell me it would cost 950. So I went in Fivrr and they dust the same thing I asked of them for 55 dollars and it looks amazing. They are Lowes and opportunist and will say and do anything to get your money. Be aware of Steve McCoy.. he’s is will talk you out of millions if you let him..I knew something wasn’t right when he said he lived in California and we had the fires and kept asking how the fires were. I’m like huh,you’re in the same part of Southern California a I am..Don’t do it, don’t do it. Please don’t do it..

I enlisted Penguin Book Writers to polish the opening chapters of my novel, focusing on refining tone and clarity. Their editor honed in on subtle inconsistencies and enhanced the pacing without compromising my style. The result was a smoother, more engaging read that set the perfect stage for the rest of my manuscript.

These people are reprehensible! Don’t go anywhere near them. They will outright lie, ignore contractual commitments, make promises they have no intention of keeping, and when it comes to marketing books they are beyond incompetent.

I paid a sizable fee to Penguin Book Writers to market a mystery/thriller novel with outstanding reader reviews along with a glowing "Publishers Weekly" review, comparing the book to a John Sandford novel (he has sold more than 30 million books). Even so, after a frustrating year and a half they had not sold even a single copy of my book. Not one! This despite countless promises to “up their game.”

What’s more, the contract clearly called for a full refund if the sales commitment wasn’t met after six months, yet they refuse to honor that contract.

I finally reached out to one of their so-called compliance officers who promised a full refund on several occasions, claiming at one point that the refund had been processed by the PBW financial team, and that I would receive it in a day or two. Weeks passed and it never came.

So...more lies! In other words, they have literally stolen my money outright, all of which, of course, is illegal, immoral, and unethical...and highly unprofessional. Is it any wonder then that PBW has "No Accreditation" with Better Business Bureau along with an F rating? My advice: Steer clear of these con artists!!!

This company is a fraudulent company. They have ripped me off over $10,000.00. They lie and are deceitful. They sent me a fake movie contract, pretended to be a representative of Books a Million, falsified documents, and could never document where they placed my books. They lied and said my book was a best seller in 3 countries, and yet when I did extensive research no one heard of my book or received any copies of my book. They operate from out of the country but pretend to be in California. Do not trust them.

This company scammed me out if $3000. I found a contract with them on September 27, 2023 they have not sold one of my books. They are scammers. They have no integrity. They are fast talkers and they need to give me my money back. They take advantage of people and they all end up in jail where they belong. Please do not trust them unless you have money just to give away and I don’t shame on you Penguin Book Writers shame on you.

I did publish my first book, "The American Visa," with Penguin Book Writers. As previously reviewed, this did go smoothly, even though it took a year to publish. What concerns me is the service that was paid for and not delivered at all. Samantha, my project manager, convinced me to pay $999.00 to get the copyright done and to get a few other services in this package so that none was delivered. I was waiting patiently for a long time. No one did follow up. Lately, I have been exchanging emails with Josh Baker, one of the best men at this company, but he has even stopped following me. He promised in August that "everything is ready and will get in a week," but here we are, December 20th, 2024, and no one is answering my calls or responding to my emails. How is it possible to treat customers in this way? I just asked to refund $999.00 for the service that never delivered. Please do so. I understand you overpromised on that thing that you are not qualified enough to do. Refund the money, please. By ignoring my emails and complaints is not helpful and I suggest not to do the same to other authors.

Total Scammers! They stole so much money from me. They make you think you're special, and they understand being a first-time writer, all BS. Then they start selling away. And the pricing gets bigger and bigger each time. Ex: a book fair from another company was $300.00, from Jane at Penguin, $6,000.00 and that was her sales price, good only for today. Anyway, they set you up with many different salespeople and management, etc. I've been through Haily, Jane, Samantha, Frank, Eden, and Carl. this is how many people I was switched to over and over because they couldn't get things done. They wasted over a year of my time. Now, not one of the 14 phone numbers I have works. All busy signals. Don't go with them. 100% scammers!!!

The team lead by my primary contact Chris Reed have been working closely with me to make sure that my book provides a genuine look into my topic of interest - they have been in constant touch to ensure that my book exceeded my expectations, I am a first time author and the team's feedback has been to the point.

Did not deliver, wasted our time and ruined our product. FRAUD ALERT! They tried to scam us and take our royalties too!

My first impressions of this company were a bit rocky, not being satisfied with the first draft and story quality of my manuscript, but the senior consultant and project manager Mr. Reed worked with me and gave me an "upgrade" to a more experienced and professional writing team, who are currently doing fantastic work on my novel so far. I am still waiting for the full refund they promised in writing and they have simply ignored me for many months. I bought the "Best Seller" Packet for $14,000 and I did not sell one book through their marketing skills. They lied repeatedly and even one of their former employees quit and told me the details of how they run scams on customers. BEWARE OF PENGUIN BOOKWRITERS. They are NOT what you think. Most of their positive reviews are from people that work for the company and affiliate companies to promote a positive review. It is deceitful. Until I get every dime, I will be relentless in posting the TRUTH about their scammers. My articles from the interviews WERE NEVER PUBLISHED AND I NEVER GOT A LINK OR ANY RESOURCE OF PROOF. THEY ARE BEING DISHONEST TO MAKE THEMSELVES LOOK COMPLIANT WITH ME, BUT THE TRUTH IS THEY STOPPED CALLED ME, STOPPED RESPONDING TO MY TEXT MESSAGE, DID NOT RESPOND TO MY LAWYER'S ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER. SO, THEY JUST WANT ME TO GO AWAY AND LOSE MY $14,000. NOT HAPPENING. I AM STILL GOING TO KEEP VIEWS AWARE OF THEIR TACTICS AND LYING DECEPTIVE PRACTICES WITH NEW AUTHORS.
