This has been a lifesaver! I love that it heats and cools so i don't have to keep changing things out. I've been sleeping much better and so has my husband. Luv the dual controls, ease of setup. I wish there was a separate remote for programming rather than using my phone. If I'm awake at night the last thing I want to do is look at a phone screen. It has controls on the topper itself but it's very difficult to hear

I knew we were hot sleepers but I didn’t realize how much so until we got this.
My husband would on occasion sweat in the bed so much that it was wet and wake him and me up. Hasn’t happened once since we got our snug topper!
Super quiet it doesn’t wake me up at all and I’m a very light sleeper. It doe get slightly louder as the fan goes up for cooler temps. Still not noisy. Also comfortable. Hasn’t disrupted out mattress firmness.
We both sleep so much better.super quiet
I love that you can adjust it based on your needs and it will adjust to your changing needs throughout the night.
My only regret is that I didn’t get it sooner. It would have really helped through those menopause night sweats!!

Loving the Cool Nights!
I've been using the Perfectly Snug air cooling mattress topper for a few months, and I'm very happy with this purchase. It keeps me cool all night and I honestly haven't woken up hot since I started using it, which was my main reason for the purchase.
The topper fits my mattress well, and the app interface works smoothly. I especially love being able to schedule my cool-down settings differently for work nights versus weekends — it's a small feature that makes a big difference in convenience.
My only issue early on was that the connection between the bed unit and the power unit kept coming unplugged, which caused it to disconnect from the app. I ended up zip-tying both connections to the bed frame to keep them secure, and that solved the problem completely.
It is a significant investment, but between the cooling performance and the app functionality, it's been worth every penny. Highly recommend if you sleep hot.

I really like this product!
I really like this product! I've been using it for 5 weeks. It is physically easy to set up, and it keeps me cool in the summer heat and with fluctuating hormones. I used to wake up super hot, especially in my mid section, and be unable to cool down unless I got out of bed and laid on the floor. This has made my temperature consistent.
Cons:
It was an investment. I wish the app were a little more user friendly. It keeps getting disconnected from my wifi (may be operator error- the topper comes unplugged when changing sheets weekly). That can be frustrating. But I appreciate that there is no upkeep like with water based systems, and there is no machine that has to sit on the floor. The noise does not bother me. If I'm watching tv I just turn the volume up a little. Overall I am very glad I made this purchase. And I look forward to using it in cool/cold weather as well.

The cords absolutely get disconnected easily. Our apologies! It's those barrel connectors, the little cylindrical cord attachments - they are mandated by sleep industry regulatory bodies to be very easy to pull apart, for safety reasons. That is wonderful until you go to make the bed! So we completely understand the frustration.
Thank you again for your feedback, and if you need a hand optimizing your settings for colder weather, feel free to reach out! (Winter pro tip: Use the scheduler, Start Length of at least 1 hour set for around your usual bed time, pile those blankets on, and make Start Phase at least a Warm 8. Life-long hot sleeper
I've been a hot sleeper my entire life and had become accustomed to waking up covered in sweat -- unless, of course, I froze out the rest of the family by dropping the A/C (and paying ridiculous electricity bills). When I was experimenting with the settings in the first few days of having the topper, I actually woke up chilly one night. It was amazing! My wife hasn't complained
My wife hasn't complained about being cold, not one night. She slides into her pre-warmed side and just melts into a good sound sleep. On the other hand I haven't had a sweaty moment on my side, no more laying in a wet spot, just relaxed cool comfortable rest. When I get up to go to the bathroom, I no longer dread coming back to bed and laying down on my moist body silhouette spot!
My severe sleep apnea sweating moments are a regular occurrence, this PS topper has eliminated the discomfort and made long periods of sound sleep a normal routine now!
The manual control feature gives us the ability to customize our experience if we are in the bed outside of the programed settings, great job PS, thanks!
How can two people with opposite sleep needs and habits enjoy the same bed, PS has the answer, truly a good investment!

It’s super comfortable
It’s super comfortable. I’m still finding my setting combination (ability to adjust on the app and it captures any manual adj you make while sleeping so that becomes the new baseline). Being too hot while sleeping has definitely improved! That said I still wake up an insane number of times so till figuring that out.

An amazing device
As a woman of a certain age, I have spent months sweltering in bed, walking up drenched in sweat, until I got the Perfectly Snug. It completely resolved that issue and I am able to stay cool and dry all night long . It is amazing.
Before getting this, I tried a similar device available from a competitor. Undoubtedly the alternative was cheaper but it just didn’t do the job that it was supposed to with my feet freezing but my torso still boiling as the competitor’s device doesn’t have a method of evenly distributing the air throughout the length of the bed. Perfectly Snug is different. The topper delivers air from head to foot so all of you can stay cool and happy.

No more night sweats, but not quite as expected
It’s not what I thought it would be, it has room for improvements, BUT I haven’t sweat through my sheets in a month since it arrived.
Let’s start with the not so great, the app.. is the least user friendly thing I’ve ever used for new-age tech. It was basically vibe coded and half works. Set up to WiFi originally was the largest pain in our ass and we almost sent it back right then. Since having it for about a month, it’s randomly decided to not connect to WiFi via the app a few times and we’ve had to manually invoke the air for the night.
I also THOUGHT before purchasing that this topper would COOL me down. In fact, it actually just keeps me more neutral than anything. I wouldn’t say I ever feel COLD with this on. My final thought on what could be better is the temperature sense settings. As someone who runs hot, the bed would kick over to level 10 every night in the middle of the night and wake me up because at its highest setting, level 10, it’s quite loud. The company discourages turning off the smart sensor feature but I turned it off and keep a constant level 6 at night and do feel like it’s less disruptive to my sleep and still keeps me dry.
Now the good - seriously, I was sweating through my sheets every night before this. Since the first night, I haven’t woken up in sweat once. Again, while I don’t necessarily feel “cooled down” and the bed is certainly not cold to the touch, the constant air movement definitely keeps our memory foam mattress from holding my heat against me all night so it keeps me more “neutral” as I noted. I do also appreciate the manual buttons on the side of the topper as noted the app hasn’t worked a few nights randomly and we’ve still been able to use the topper. All in all we’re obviously keeping it, it’s working, is it perfect? No. lol I have hope for the next iterations / and hopefully when the company hires a proper app engineer.
For the purchase price I’m not sure I’d recommend or purchase again, I’d likely look into the competitors that are actually known to COOL the bed to the touch, but I am happy to not have “water” to deal with. So give and take.

Regarding the topper not feeling "cold to the touch," this is absolutely correct and we completely understand some people prefer that. Our goal has always been to keep the sleeper's body temperature at a perfect sleeping set point (based on skin temp) for them, rather than to make them or their bed "cold." It is a tradeoff, depending on what you're looking for. With subcooling you deal with things like condensation in your bedding if the bed or topper surface is cooled below the dewpoint in your sleep environment, especially in more humid climates. This is one of the potential sources of mold in water-cooled sleep systems. Subcooling units also require more electricity, so higher costs and more heat from the subcooling unit on the floor. These can increase ambient room temperatures up to 10F, in a 10x10' room. BUT - we affirm that it's give and take. There's a reason there are multiple options on the market, so everyone finds what is right for them. 🤍
We have concluded that everyone hates our app and are actively working on improvements. 😅 Thank you so much for calling this out - it's all the feedback that has allowed us to move this to the top of our list of priorities. No regrets on the split king topper
We recently purchased the split king topper. Honestly, I was surprised how well this product worked. Even though the product is 1 to 2 inches thick, I do not find it impacts the comfort level of our mattress.
We would give this a 5 star review for cooling effectiveness. We have both slept through the night every night since getting it, and never wake up hot or sweaty using the mid range settings. No regrets.
I would give this a 4 star review for the price point. Hopefully they will be able to bring down the cost so more people will be able to enjoy this product.

I think holding the nuance of "this works great and we're sleeping great and I have no regrets," and "if it cost less more people could enjoy it" is very fair and considerate. We hand build each topper on the west coast here in BC from top quality materials, ensure our team members are treated well, and overheads are high as well. The Perfectly Snug mattress cooling cover is unbelievable. I got it for my wife because she’s been complaining for years how hot and sweaty she gets while sleeping. We live in south Louisiana and it gets hot in the summer. I surely didn’t want to put an A/C window unit in the bedroom. That’s just tacky. I finally decided, “What the hell. Let me try this thing”. It has a money back guarantee. About a week after using it, my wife was almost in tears thanking me for getting it. She loves it. It really works.
Side note: I set it up one night when my wife was out of town. I said to myself, “Let’s see if this thing works”. I woke up at 1:30am freezing my ass off. I had to turn it off. I still don’t use it on my side of the bed. I’m comfortable without it. Best thing invented since sliced bread.

The product does work but…
The product does work, it will help to cool you if you’re a hot sleeper. Where it falls flat, for me, is I'm a very hot sleeper and the climate in my room during summer months can make the room temperature around 75-80 degrees F. I have found that on cooler nights, the perfectly snug is good, on hotter nights, it doesn't feel like it’s working at all. Also I’ve found anything other than the fan level 5, for me, isn’t much help. I do have to have the fan cooling on level 10 (as high as it can go) to do anything for help. I’ve tried two different water-based cooling toppers. One was a cheap one from Amazon that worked really well for cooling, but it sprung a leak and was horrible to clean up. The other was the Chillipad cube. That only blew out hot air into my room and exacerbated my poor situation. It also drew a lot of power. The perfectly snug doesn’t add extra heat into my room, the power demand is very low. It does the best it can without having to deal with water cooling, cleaning, and refilling (which is very nice to not have to worry about leaks, mold, and spills).
All the above would give it a 4-star rating for me. It works as advertised but my situation isn’t the norm for everyone so some people could find my circumstances much different. Where the perfectly snug really struggles is the app. The app is just awful. Connecting it wasn’t great, if you have a phone or tablet that you keep a VPN turned on, and the app lacks many different features and creature comforts for a product as expensive as this. If you think you’re getting a smart topper to help track data or to really expand your sleep, this is not the product for you.
In conclusion for anyone that’s made it this far. I am overall fine with the product. It does generally help, fairly energy efficient, and i like the lack of maintenance better than water cooling alternatives. It struggles with hotter environments and has a poor app for the price of the product. It is worth a try and the mattress topper is comfortable enough and you don’t feel hoses or anything really odd. It feels just like a normal mattress topper.

We're thrilled to hear you've found Perfectly Snug to be a great Chillipad alternative /water-based system alternative, but very sorry to hear we fall short on the app. To be perfectly honest, we agree 😵💫 - the app is in desperate need of an update, and we are working on one currently. When released, it will be available to all current customers for free in the app store (we expect to release this as an update rather than a new app, but that isn't confirmed yet). Thank you (and all the Snug fam!) for being patient and gracious with us about this.
Regarding your room temperature, we can affirm what you're saying. If your room is 78-80F or warmer, the topper will make your bed the coolest place in the room for you to be, but you're unlikely to get cold. It's still enough for most people to sleep through the night in conditions they otherwise couldn't, but it's something to consider. The plus is that our system won't heat your room any more than it already is, which is a known limitation with water-based system subcooling floor units (as you experienced). Subcooling a mattress topper below your bedroom's dewpoint can also result in condensation and mold in your sleep environment, particularly if it's humid where you live. That's not a guarantee, it's just a risk.

When you say a Fan Speed of 5 is what works for you, I'm unclear on whether you have your Sleep Phase set to Cold 5 (-5) with Responsive Cooling enabled (automatic temperature adjustment), or with Responsive Cooling disabled (constant fan speed). Both of these are good options depending on the situation, but I would think on a night of 78-80F you might prefer Responsive Cooling disabled, so you can do anything from Cold 5 to Cold 10 and receive maximum constant cooling flow. We don't recommend this for most sleepers, but in a very warm room it might be the way to go.

I really like this product
I really like this product. However, I have a mechanical bed and sleep with my head elevated. The Perfectly Snug pad tends to slide down overnight. I also haven’t found sheets that don’t pop off when I try to pull them down overnight the pad.

Your topper should have come with a set of corner straps, however if you need additional corner straps or further assistance, please feel free to reach out to our team at customerservice@perfectlysnug.com. We can provide additional straps, or custom "extra long straps" if needed. We can also recommend sheet straps - these might be something that works for you. You can find them on Amazon, and our team would be happy to assist (they are sort of like suspenders that hold your fitted sheets in place under your mattress - if I understand your struggle correctly, these should help!).
