I ordered a Lattafa ASAD Bourbon and I received a fake! How do I know?

I am a perfume enthusiast and I know when the product is off. The logo on the box is printed in gold as opposed to the original which is dark/black (like a badge securely pasted onto the box and not just a print), stickers on the bottle cap and belt are coming off, no batch number and most importantly, upon scanning the holographic QR code, it FAILED the authenticity check on the Lattafa verification site itself and it suggests that the item "is not an authentic product". I even sent them the screenshot of this verification but expectedly, they denied it and insisted that the product is authentic. They even went on to say that the Lattafa verification tracker is not always authentic or reliable. Like come on, that is already the Brand that is telling me it's fake! Do I believe you or Lattafa? It's no brainer.

They did offer me a return but I declined because I can use the product for future reference and tell my friends how to spot the difference with the genuine one. I have a strong feeling that after reading this review, they will still insist that it is authentic, just a different batch with different packaging. 😂 I understand that while some packaging variations between batch productions are possible, they should all have a legit holographic QR code. Periodt.

Such a shame.

SCAM DO NOT BUY

Terrible company, DO NOT BUY!!
I ordered an aftershave from them on the 30th of March they confirmed my order on the 1st of April and said it was on its way, I haven’t had the aftershave. I then contacted them through email with screenshots of my order confirmation they then replied and asked for my order number on the 16th I sent them the order number the same day and they still haven’t replied to me to this day. Terrible service.

The delivery timeframe for this item is clearly stated on the product page as 2–3 weeks, which your order was still within. We also responded to your messages and provided tracking details showing the parcel was in transit.

We understand waiting can be frustrating, however multiple emails sent in quick succession can sometimes make communication less efficient. As confirmed by the tracking, your order has now been successfully delivered.

We always aim to be transparent with our delivery times and provide updates where possible, and we’re glad your item has now arrived.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I received an item on 23/03/2026. On the same day I emailed to sort out a return. This was on the 23rd March and there has been no communication. I sent a follow up email on 26th March and still no response. This companies customer service is appalling!

Following your initial email, we responded promptly and provided clear evidence from the product listing confirming that the incense burner is USB-powered, as stated in both the description and “what’s included” section. After this was clarified, we requested images to confirm the item’s condition for return eligibility, which were not provided.

You then chose to open a case via PayPal, where we fully cooperated and agreed to the return. At present, the item has still not been returned to us.

We always aim to resolve matters fairly and transparently, and we remain happy to process your refund as soon as the return is completed in line with our policy. If you would still like to proceed, please follow the return instructions provided or contact us directly so we can assist further.

Avoid – never delivered, still charged!

Ordered £55.97 worth of items on 16/02/2026 with delivery stated within 5 days via Royal Mail Tracked 48. I received a dispatch notification on 22/02/2026, however even after 3 days the item had not arrived. Royal Mail tracking showed the parcel was never received into their network, and still shows this now, suggesting it may not have been physically dispatched. The company also refused to provide proof of postage when requested.

I chased the company on 25/02/2026 regarding non-delivery. The items were intended as a gift and missed the required date. After further chasing, the company ‘recalled’ the parcel and eventually confirmed its return on 08/03/2026 — over 2 weeks later. This has now been ongoing for over a month, and communication stopped despite multiple follow-ups, leaving me with no clarity on whether a refund would be issued.

A refund was eventually processed on 18/03/2026, minus £10, despite the goods never being delivered. Issue remains unresolved. £10 has been withheld unfairly.
This has caused significant inconvenience and stress over more than a month of chasing. Avoid this company.

Update: The company offered to refund the remaining £10 only on the condition that I removed my Trustpilot review, along with additional store credit. I did not consider this appropriate and have proceeded via my card provider.

We would like to clarify that your order was processed and dispatched from our premises, and tracking details were provided at the time. Following your request to cancel after dispatch, we arranged for the parcel to be recalled with the courier, which can take time to complete and return to us.

We understand that Royal Mail tracking did not update as expected, and we appreciate how this may have caused confusion and frustration, particularly given the time-sensitive nature of your order.

As outlined in our policy, cancellations requested after dispatch may incur associated costs, including courier charges for recalling parcels already in transit.

However, as a gesture of goodwill and to bring this matter to a close, we have now issued a full refund, including the previously deducted amount.

We are also reviewing this case internally with our delivery partner to help prevent similar issues in future.

We apologise again for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your feedback.

Ordered 1 single aftershave 3 weeks ago…

Ordered 1 single aftershave 3 weeks ago I’ve still not had it or any updates of progress. Ive emailed the company with no reply. Money had come out which I’ll be speaking to my bank to get it back. Absolutely awful company when checking for updates it says the shipping label has been created but not sent. Read the reviews and do not buy here I can’t emphasise this enough shocking business

Having checked the tracking information for your order, Yodel confirms the parcel was delivered on 12 February at 11:40am to the address provided at checkout.

As the courier has marked the parcel as delivered, this may be a case of it being accepted by someone at the property, left in a safe place, or a delivery error. We have contacted you directly so we can investigate this further with Yodel and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

Hit and miss

Bought a perfume gift set.
Had an email to say it was dispatched and then nothing for one week.
I emailed them, no reply.
I contacted them though their website and got a reply within 48 hours.
The reply was curt and not helpful.
My package was magically (re)shipped a few days later (10 days after receiving the tracking information!)
All that said, I've now received my order and it seems genuine and was a good price.
However, I don't think I would order from this company again.
It seems very hit and miss!

No complaints from me!

Picked up Kismet Magic from The Perfume Hut and I’m really happy with it. Smells great, lasts well and definitely feels like good value for money. Took a week to get here but that’s normal for yodel. I’ll happily buy from TPH again.

They charged me for 2 perfume I wanted, but sent 2 £10 cheap ones that smell like plastic and soap called 'Ramz Lataffa'. Absolutely disgusting.

Regarding your order: the item you received, Ramz Lattafa, is not a “£10 cheap perfume,” but a recognised fragrance brand that retails at varying prices depending on the supplier. That said, if you believe you received the wrong items, we are more than willing to investigate this properly.

We also note that your initial email to us began with “Hi scammers,” which makes it difficult to have a constructive conversation. We fully understand that receiving an incorrect order is frustrating, but we are always happy to resolve genuine issues when approached respectfully.

If a packing error occurred, we will of course:

I ordered a perfume on the 21/10/2025

I ordered a perfume on the 21/10/2025, after not receiving the product after a week, I emailed and was told to wait 2-3 working days, I did this. I again emailed on the 30/10/25 and had a response. “Please give 7-10 working days for processing”. Appalling service when you have paid for a product. I have since cancelled the order.

Please don’t bother using the perfume…

Please don’t bother using the perfume hut I ordered a clone of ombré and got sent there clone of the clone of ombré waited well over 3 weeks for something I never ordered,there is and was plenty of what I ordered in stock
I know they will come back and say they sent a better clone in there opinion but it’s not what I paid for
Haven’t tried it just got annoyed at them an put it in bin

A Personal Warning About Buying “Branded” Perfume from Perfume Hut
I ordered what I thought was a genuine designer fragrance—only to have them send me a cheap knock-off without even asking. Here’s what happened:
1. No heads-up, just a “substitute.”
I didn’t receive the perfume I paid for. Instead, they slipped in their own “equivalent” and included a note saying the original was “out of stock” and this would speed things up.
2. Terrible quality.
This imposter fragrance barely lasted two hours, smelled nothing like the authentic scent, and faded almost immediately.
3. Crickets on customer service.
I’ve sent two polite emails asking for my money back or a proper replacement—no reply, no apology, nothing.
4. My advice to you:
o Steer clear of Perfume hut if you value authenticity.
o Buy only from authorised retailers who stand behind their products.
o If you’ve already been burned, file a chargeback with your bank and consider reporting them to your local consumer protection agency.
I hope this saves you the disappointment and wasted money I’m dealing with now. Feel free to share this with friends who might be tempted by a “great deal” there!
