Had a date nighr with wife of 49 years. Excellent food and service. Prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be going again.

On Wednesday 3rd June we celebrated my husband’s birthday at Pesto Walton Gardens. This is my third visit.

The food, service and atmosphere are 10/10. Highly recommend!

We celebrated my 50th tonight and order the ribs to share, the taste was terrible, no flavour, seasoning or any taste whatsoever, real shame as we’ve been there 4 times in the last 6 months and the food has always been good. Furthermore, no offer to reduce bill or offer us something else!

We have dined at Pesto many times over the years, but have recently found a severe decline in the food quality. The last few times, over the last year, it has steadily become worse. Yesterday the food was actually so poor we could not eat it all. Bland, fatty, tasteless and poor portions. Having looked this up to see if it was just our experience, sadly it appears not and we see it has been taken over by a large American company. We won’t be visiting again.

Tried this restaurant recently with friends as heard it offered vegan options. Unfortunately upon dining at the restaurant we soon realised they only offered "light bites", more of a starter really and no main meals. Also none of the breads were vegan!?! which we found very odd. We were also served wine in cocktail glasses which was a little odd and ultimately we ended up getting a smaller volume of wine because of this. The expresso coffee was nice but didn't fill the expresso cup, it was half the amount of the cup when served to us!?! Add to that no milk substitutes for vegans which was unusual. If we went back I think there would need to be more vegan selection available as we found it all a little bit disappointing. Apart from that the surroundings were quite nice.

As we usually have a nice time at Pesto Yatch in Chester we booked to go again with my 83 yr old mother in law for her birthday.
I specifically asked for a “quiet” table as she wears hearing aids. We were placed on the worst table in the whole restaurant. Right next to a table of 14 peoepel celebrating their 1 year olds birthday. It was hectic. Kids running around. Baby squarking most of the time. Shouting and general loud behaviour. Which is fine for them but when it affects others then it’s not!
Waitress took 20 mins to get our drinks to us.
We left far earlier than we would have if it had been a nicer evening.
Such a shame. As eating out is an expensive night now.
I called the manager who simply said. They cannot honour table requests. So I suggested a call back to us on booking would have been nice to say we were going be seated right next to a large birthday party.
No offer of anything to make us go back so it’s left a bit of a sour taste tbh.
Such a shame as we were good customers

The Peacock in Alfreton is amazing.
The environment is cosy and pleasant.
Staff are professional, very pleasant and attentive.
Food is fantastic quality and value.
It’s my favourite restaurant in our area.

Pesto at The Yacht
Have been regulars with both families and friends for many years, almost since it opened but arrived today and we’re told we could not have one of the set menus!
The waitress said that as we were 9(one of our families includes 5 grandchildren) we were not allowed the set menus anymore. I called for the manager and said we were regulars and this had never occurred before. He confirmed that it was a new rule that Pesto would not allow parties over 6 to have the set menus and if we wished to eat at Pesto we would have to go a la carte!
It is very difficult to create goodwill.
It is very easy to lose it.
There are many more restaurants to choose from.
If Pesto doesn’t want to accommodate parties over 6, there are plenty more who do want our business.
Very disappointed but no more Pesto for us.

Came without a booking and place was very busy but they found us a table.

Waitress was great and quick drinks, advised 20 minute wait for food and was spot on.

Quality of food was excellent, particularly for non meat eaters

Would recommend and will definitely be going back.

Went to the Yacht Friday night for a special birthday meal. We booked a few weeks ago and asked for either one of two specific tables. When we got there the tables we were told the tables we asked for were not available although one was not occupied. They knew it was my birthday as they ask when booking your date of birth. We were given another table. The food was as we expected excellent as usual but the service was not what we expected of Pestos of The Yacht.

Went to Pesto at The Yacht for the first time today for lunch. All the food was tasty and hot and the service was excellent, waitress (Kez) was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. We had to sit outside as we had dogs with us which was great today as the weather was good but we would be unable to go there otherwise. Suggest an inside area be set aside for doggie people.

Waited 40 mins to take our drinks order. Waited another 40 mins for food to arrive and an extra 10 mins for a pasta dish to be brought to us. Food was OK!
Beautiful restaurant but sadly service was shocking. Prices not bad.
Wouldn't go again.

New Restaurant in Wythall charged me twice with a duplicate payment and then denied the duplicate payment even though I emailed over the evidence from my bank. I was told multiple times I would be refunded and then advised I may not be as finance wasn't available and I should go through my bank for a refund. 3 days have passed and I am still waiting for a call from a manager. Scamming new customers with children in charge apologising but not having any way to offer a resolution. It ruined our experience of the evening and has left us disappointed.

We have recently been for our 4th meal at Pesto in The Peacock, Alferton and as always the selection of food, service and fabulously tasty dishes were all excellent! I love Italian food and like a variety of dishes, so Pesto's lunch menu is perfect. You get to choose 3 dishes each person and there are 3 menus to choose from.

Every time we have been everything has been perfect and I would highly recommend to anyone. We will be back

Do no waste your time here, especially if you’re looking to book a table for a date. We had an awesome day in Northwich and arrived here at around 6pm, seated almost instantly at just after 6pm. We managed to choose everything we wanted between myself and my partner, during the wait to have our order taken we could hear couples still waiting on drinks, food taking longer than expected to arrive at tables, and multiple employees not having a clue what they are meant to be doing or what their job role was. The table next to us had three different employees attend their table for orders, drinks and food expedited. Many apologies made to them, whilst we still sat there half an hour later without a drink or an order in sight. At 6:40pm, we decided to start leaving, at this point a server decided to approach us and ask us if we had our orders taken yet. We said nobody had attended, to which she replied “we’re short staffed, somebody had left home ill” which astounds me as the table next to us had a man and two women attend their table. Short staffing here isn’t the issue, the management is. They have no idea how to organise their team or section the restaurant so tables can be managed by servers. Absolute joke of a restaurant, one I will never try again.

Pesto @ the Trafford Centre. Manchester. Met up with family for birthday celebration lunch. 4 adults 1 toddler. Service was very good, attentive when taking order and pleasant chatter, if there were separate star ratings for the waiter I would have given him at least a 4 but the food...where to start, this was where it all went wrong. The food arrived lukewarm to chilled. The prawn bruschetta was barely warm. The pasta meal was solid around the edges presumably from being stood somewhere awaiting delivery, the conchiglioni cheese dish I ordered was packed with unmelted, uncooked cheese that crumbled at the slightest touch. The pizza had to be torn apart with fingers as it was impossible to cut with a knife. The garlic bread side dish was also cold. First and last visit. Sorry but can't recommend.

First time I’ve been to Axe & compass Wolvey
Easy to find great parking service was fantastic great menu lots of choice however the downside for me is if you have never been before you get no explanation from the staff or the menu of how and what you’re ordering so you have to ask all the questions value for money though

Wonderful food and to top it all great service from Mia who went to extreme lengths to make us feel welcome

Superb setting and atmosphere in Sutton Coldfield. Personable and professional serving staff, excellent menu and superb food.

If I could give it no stars I would , managers are absolutely disgusting , no customer service at all , never experienced anything like this , came for a family dinner and left feeling awful
