I had few trips with them and one cos of the busy traffic in Manhattan during Christmas I got there and bus was already leaving that was 2 tickets went down without a refund I got sick 2 days ago and was in hospital try to let them know that I'm sick can't travel to so I can be refunded and the customer service blatantly said they don't refund sorry they need to do better cos airlines refund you under these circumstances I'm annoyed 😠

We found Peter Pan impressive and the staff and drivers very helpful and obliging. It was good value for money and the travel was comfortable. One gripe was that our seating was loose as it was set for a disabled customer who did not get on. The driver to Martha’s Vineyard was brilliant unfortunately we didn’t get her name 😺👍

worst/disappointing

I had a reservation/ticket on PeterPan Bus to go to Hyannis from Boston Logan airport on February 16th, Sunday at 11:45 am. I arrived to Boston Logan airport at 10:15 am on JerBlue flight from West Palm Beach. I was at designated bus stop gate 110 at terminal C at 11:15am. I waited there until 12:30pm until I saw PeterPan bus which I had to top the bus by waving the bus driver, He told me that he is not picking up passenger due to bad weather. Two other bus went by until 1:30pm without stopping. Finally, I bought a ticket on on Plymouth and Brockton bus ticket, arrived at at Hyannis bus station. I saw there are six PeterPan buses standing idle, no drivers. I asked PeterPan to refund, they denied stating all their bus was running. They even told me that bus driver said there was no passenger at terminal C on that day. This was a total lie. I would not recommend PeterPan. Do not use PeterPan find alternate bus line, you will receive far better service as I received from Plymouth and Brockton Bus.

The bus did not show up on time

The bus did not show up on time. I normally take the train, but the train times did not allow me to get to the airport in enough time to catch the plane, so I turned to to Peter Pan to take me to the airport. On many occasions over 15-20 years, the bus did not show up or is late. Unless you paid for the refundable ticket, your chance of getting a refund is zero.

Charging For Changing Bus Time

I got to the bus much earlier than expected.

I asked to get on the 12pm instead of the 1pm.

They wanted to charge me just to get on the bus that clearly has enough space for me.

As a super long customer, it just felt wrong.

Especially after traveling since the day before with barely any sleep.

No flexibility at all to accommodate towards a loyal customer. Just strict rules to make more money from us.

It couldn't get worse

It couldn't get worse. I bought a ticket from a third party website for Megabus. When I get to DC bus station, they say Peter Pan only operate Megabus buses from a week ago. The instructions to swap ticket doesn't work. The person in the booth was very rude and not responding properly. I bought a last 2 seats tickets for 4 times more expensive. The bus came super late. Please just book from Flixbus.

Just a note about dangerous driving

Just a note about dangerous driving. On Jun 28, 2024 at 1520 hrs.Peter Pan bus #798 completely disregarded yield sign on Race St ramp to I-95. Nearly colliding with my vehicle coming within 8-10” of smashing entire side of my car. While traveling Northbound on I-95 the same bus was seen going over solid white lines , changing lanes multiple times with no turn signal.The bus also went over to far right lane which is clearly marked as ending in an effort to get around traffic. The bus then merged back into traffic without signaling.This is not the first time I have seen Peter Pan buses being driven in dangerous manner. Hopefully you do something about this before someone is injured and or killed by on of your buses.

Nightmare service Washington-NY

Never again. I’ll just forget that your company exists.
First, the most toxic grey haired person works in the Washington ticket booth( no name tag found), it is a shame you have to hire such people to work with your customers face to face. Not only your company forced us to stay 40 min on the hot Washington bus station, but we also got a very old , bad conditioned bus and the driver doesn’t want to make a single stop during 4+ hours drive for people to at least buy water. And of course we don’t have any water after such a long wait under that unbearable heat. You put us in an impossible situation. And no one even close to be apologetic. Right now I’m taking the worst bus ride!

No Refunds?

I am a blogger in town, I do company reviews. This will be a short one but it does bother me that passengers can not get a refund. There have been times I have missed my second bus because my current one was in traffic. That does not seem fair. One driver did mention we have to call online about a refund. Who has time to call?. I would not recommend booking two buses, purchase them separately, not all at once. No refunds gets me a lot with this company. That will not make me use them. Their app could be better. Every time I search up my trip and on the screen with the times, it is difficult to go back to select another date or trip. I have to keep closing down the app every time, not very convenient.

Do not use this bus company unless you want your bags stolen! I recently used Peter Pan bus lines to go from Providence to New York City. On the return trip the bus driver made me put my bag under the bus even though I tried to take it on the bus with me. The bus was making 2 different stops. and I was the second stop. Because of traffic the bus driver didn't stop at the regular bus stop, but instead dropped passengers off in front of the Dunkin Donut Center where there was an event letting out. He took my bag off of the bus and placed it on the sidewalk without even asking if it was anyone's bag. Because he was in a hurry he just got back on the bus and drove off leaving my bag on the sidewalk in the middle of the city! When we got to my stop the bus driver took no responsibility, nor apologized for leaving my bag. His basic response was, 'oh well, it wasn't my fault'. Even though he was the one who took my bag off the bus! I will never use this bus company again and if you want to keep your belongings you shouldn't either!

Refused Refund during Coronavirus Pandemic

One of my nieces was having a baby shower. Unfortunately the Coronavirus interfered. My other niece used her credit card to pay for bus tickets to ensure we all were on the same bus. We of course had to cancel the tickets as Restaurant, and any Large gathering are being discouraged. If not outright banned in New Jersey, and New York. Instead of Peter Pan being understanding, they refused to refund her. They are giving her credit on several tickets, which means I guess if we ride in future her ticket is paid for. This hurts her financially as she is a single mom who needs her money refunded on her card. This cancellation happened due to an act of God and Government. Not her fault.

This is a Hate Crime
Went to work for Peter-Pan in Boston out of the Chelsea Garage.
Hired as a Bus driver/Motor-coach Operator on October 20th 2019.
Met up with a Trainer (Donald Fonner) who is/was a White Supremacist / Racist Homophobic Person who Voiced his Opinion sever Times.

I am a Professional CDL Class A Driver w N&P endorsements since 1980/81. I hold a Massachusetts D.P.U. Bus/Motor-coach License, former 2a-4a Hydraulics license (20 Years) and an Osha 10 Certificate. I have a Clean *CORI & have Never been arrested.

I was Put down, Ridiculed, Bullied, had Racist remarks said to Me and Treated like I was a P.O.S. either because I'm a Democrat or being a part of the LGBT/Q community or even being a 30 Year employee of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
While I met some Truly Nice People in the Springfield office, a Few in the Boston office as well, where I was assigned.

On Monday/Tuesday November the 4th & 5th. I was told
"The World was a lot Better until Obama came into Office" Excuse Me?
Oh the *Do Nothing Democrats & Look 5 state workers holding a Shovel.

I'm 59 Years Old, Yes I am Not from the Western part of the State. I do Not know all the Country back-roads, Yes I forget how some exits are on 93 in Boston, Yes, it's going to take Me a Few Times to remember. Then you're showing Me, Something different everyday, I forget exactly where this Road may go. I'm Human, and Yes I do make Mistakes. Train Me *Don't Ridicule Me!

Wow, was I treated Unfairly, This bothered Me so much, Talking to myself on my way Home, I Tossed and Turned all night trying to get to Sleep, thinking about my Scenario w Peter-Pan.

Needless to Say, I was Let go and I could see How I was being Treated. Unfortunately Peter-Pan has to employ Homophobic / Racist People who puts Down everyone like President Trump does, Yes I have over 20 Guns, It's My God Given Right *He said.
Guns don't Kill people, it's People who kill People! Oh I Think *Trump is a Great President! It's the Democrats who F*cked this Country up ~ Donald Fonner Quoted.

I was told Peter-Pan doesn't care about its Passengers, We only care about Getting them there, "You Need to be an Aggressive Driver"
You want Me to Weave in and out of Traffic in a 45 Foot Motor-coach and Keep a constant 65 MPH Speed Limit or go around a curve in a posted 30 Mph Speed designated for a Car?

I see why There's a lot of Negative reviews about Peter-Pan.
