All I did was sign up for insurance for my 2 cats, and I have received about 50 emails from them since. I didn’t sign up to ANY emails at any point, it is extremely frustrating. I haven’t even used my insurance yet and then you have the audacity to ask for a review. LEAVE ME ALONE

The claims process was really easy and the payout was very quick. Would recommend!

Kept updated with the progress of my claim. Paid within a timely manner. Good cover for the monthly payment. Would recommend.

Trouble-free have had what have been legitimate investigative claims rejected that involved having a young cat euthanised ( they shall remain nameless but it rhymes with vet mends) This claim has caused me so many sleepless nights but Sainsbury’s didn’t quibble. Thank you although not the best news in the world at least it’s a manageable condition

The claim was settled very quickly despite my having been with Sainsbury’s for less than 6 months. What could have been a stressful experience was made simple.

Sainsbury's pet portal is easy to set up with your details and pet information. It's easy to submit a claim and continuation claim if necessary. They have paid out on my claims for my poorly cat and are great at communicating renewals and the current stage of a claim via email and text messages.
Can't fault them, therefore come highly recommended and will continue to use them for the life of my cat THEO.

Only reason it’s 4 stars and not 5 is old policies don’t get taken off the screen and it’s very easy to get mixed up with them. Which happened. Once this was sorted it was quick and efficient and paid with no quibbles. Very satisfied with the service.

Brilliant for pet insurance have helped me with vet treatments on all my pets that have needed it would highly recommend them to anyone

My claim was accepted and paid directly to the vet without me having to do anything! My dog is under a pet behaviourist for extreme separation anxiety and I was worried the insurance wouldn't cover his treatment. No problem - assessed, accepted and paid within 5 days! Totally recommend Sainsbury's pet insurance.

Price and coverage is good and competitive however as soon as I purchased the policy I started getting adds about extra nectar points and a welcome hamper when you sign. 2 things that weren’t offered when I signed up. Doesn’t make sense to me.

Easy to set up. Also easy to amend when we changed our puppy’s name the day after!

Simple process. Luckily our cat’s condition was not serious, but the last thing you would want would be a complex or frustrating process to make a claim. This is so far from our experience it was great.
