He still does use cocaine sometimes and is a terrible financial adviser he arrogantly said: i call the top for solona in 2024 in q1 , sol was around 70 usd or so , what happened was, sol kept going and going until around 300, he sells gargabe courses anyone can get online, he asks 1500 dollars , and always says and lies about that it is the last time he will offer that. Over and over again. He acts like a girl on twitter, and tries to brag about his high life and materials and trips and money.

Look we all know you want to find a good trader to follow, Philakone is not it, do not subscribe to his discord, the guy makes up random drama all the time just to make excuses and ignores responsibility to his subscribers. He drags and drags because omg another thing has happen, he has to buy a new place, he is moving, he is on vacation, he ... well just use your imagination it's always something, there's drugs there alcohol there's irresponsibility. So please do not give him any money.

Here is an honest review. He is quite a good trader, if you follow him you will learn quite a bit on what trading actually is. The problem is that he is compleatly childish and a very unserious person and does have a scamish personality. Also his trading style is so hard and really not worth trying its not worth it. It is one of the hardest ways of trading and its not that profitable, doing more trend based trading is much easier. I would recommend checking his youtube channel and twitter and try to get free information since he does have very good long term calls, he does change his stance from bullish to bearish quite quickly but thats trading. Dont try to have a "close" relationship with him like joining his discord group or courses (might be worth it might not, i took some of them when they where cheaper. Might be too expensive now) He is a true pain in the ass and also scammed half the discord group. Promotes things like, lifetime membership and then kicks everyone out after some time. Followed him for almost 5 years and really disappointing dude.

He loves to sell courses/ or anything.
Market is volatile and not 100% predictable.
he is not good at general direction, rather a 5min-15min trader.

During bad trade days (when he loses $), he will come out with things to sell to you for liquidity

Philakone and his day trading club are a scammers thing.

He is miserable individual who is showing up his monkey fake on the camera and showing trades just to collect some money for the subscription for his silly channel.

⚠️ WARNING: My Experience With Philakone’s Trading Group

If you’re thinking about joining Philakone’s trading group, stop right now. This guy doesn’t want to make you a better trader—he wants to bleed you dry.

Let’s be real: trading crypto is already brutal. Most people start out full of energy, binge-watching YouTube, chasing indicators, searching for that “secret strategy.” Then the losses come. Your account shrinks, trade after trade goes against you, and desperation sets in. That’s when guys like Philakone swoop in—selling hope to people who are drowning.

The Endless Course Scam

Philakone’s entire business is recycling the same crap in a shiny new wrapper. Every three months? Boom“brand new course.” In reality, it’s the same tired strategies he’s been peddling for years, dressed up as the next big thing.

Sure, maybe there’s a nugget of value buried in there. But unless you’ve got massive capital and iron discipline, it’s useless to you. And guess what he knows that. That’s why he keeps you hooked. You didn’t get profitable from the last course? Don’t worry, the next one will fix everything! Except it never does.

The Discord FOMO Trap

His Discord is a straight-up money funnel. Multiple tiers, each one promising more “access” and “secrets.” What do you actually get? Philakone showing off his giant positions and wins in the lower tiers to bait you into upgrading.

It’s manipulation, plain and simple. He dangles success in front of you like a carrot, but the reality is you’ll never get what he’s selling. Because what he’s really selling is hope and your fear of missing out.

The Joke

Let’s say you’re unlucky enough to pay thousands sometimes up to $20,000 for “platinum tier access.” Do you finally get the magic formula then? Nope. You get to watch Philakone live-stream his personal life. Literally. You just paid to hear him argue with his girlfriend or ramble about nonsense that has nothing to do with trading. It’s a reality show, not mentorship. If he streams at all.

The Ugly Truth

Philakone is a talented trader but that’s not the product. You are the product. His goal isn’t to teach you how to win in the markets. His goal is to keep you paying, over and over, while you convince yourself you’re one step away from cracking the code.

By the time you realize the truth, you’ve probably dumped thousands into his pockets. And what do you have to show for it? Nothing except the sickening realization that you’ve been financing his ego trip and watching him ban people from his discord group that state the obvious or whomever he decides to ban for any reason which his bipolar personality comes up with at the moment.

Final Word

Philakone doesn’t want you to succeed. He doesn’t want you to trade independently. He wants you stuck in his hamster wheel, always buying the next course, the next tier, the next empty promise.

He preys on the weak, he manipulates with FOMO, and he knows exactly how to drain you. If you value your money, your sanity, and your future stay the hell away.

Here is my takeaway after following him since 2017 and being a member of his discord for 3 years.
- Exhibits bipolar and narcissistic tendencies ( in my non-expert opinion).
- Rarely regularly active in the discord aside from posting random non-trading related drama. Always has an excuse to be doing anything else.
- Doesn't want his students to do well.
- Racist and homophobic. (regularly making comments that break his own discord rules.)
- ALWAYS exits his trades early with the same excuse "I was tired so I closed".
- Posts trade setups AFTER the fact. "I woke up for a drink of water and shorted this 5th wave"
- The entire discord is afraid to speak because literally anything can set him off and get themselves banned. Literally anything.
- He preaches controlling emotions but has ZERO control over any of his own emotions.
- On and off drugs. Frequently drunk.
- No matter what tier you pay for, he will eventually limit that tier and create a new tier and charge more for it promising more value. New tier, same shit.
- You will occasionally be impressed by his accuracy but will rarely benefit yourself.
- If the market is moving, be prepared to be on your own.

Final takeaway - not worth your time and investment if you're looking to become a serious trader.

I eventually got banned for talking about the result of a live PPV UFC fight before he was able to watch it. 🤷‍♂️

If you're looking for a more serious/professional place to go - I highly recommend "NewWave Traders", WAY better teacher of E.W.T., he does 2-3 weekly zoom calls (1 of which is free on youtube), and he goes deep into the psychology side of trading.

So I’m on his discord and I ended up making a comment on his Facebook that I have access to and we had it back-and-forth about the iran war and he ended up blocking me then going into the Discord app and charging me $400 for a premium account. I’m in the middle of trying to pursue legal recourse , but I’m actually a commercial fisherman to seaand this is really difficult right now. I had to cancel my card and everything. He’s a vile vile person.

Here is my interaction before a ban. So basically the guy creates a tier then 6 months later he stops posting in that tier and creats a new one to keep the grift going. I signed up for his scanner not his info, hes not a good trader, but just so everyone knows his grift.

Wait a second. So i paid you for the top tier trading money ths back which to do all of your calls and share all the information you have, and now there is a new tier above that? So now you're not as active in the elite tier? Make this make sense.

Too much emotional ، drama , most the time offline , the course is not that big , drama queen, avoid , have self respect for your self

He is highly irrational and would ban you for the slightest reasons. He banned me for saying sorry to him, after bashing me for a question I asked on his group, he said his discord is not a signal group and the question I asked was not a signal related question but a bias related one which is no different from what others ask normally on the group. I think if you don’t agree with him 100% he gets angry or stuff. He doesnt like people who have a different opinion than him especially when you end up being right. He would call you annoying and would get irritated. I have screenshot from the group to prove this. Gets pissed off to when he loses and transfers aggression to his members. Even when a member of the group told him I just asked a question and his response was too harsh he still went ahead to ban me on the basis of I was too annoying and I don’t vibe with him. 😂😂😂. The picture on my profile is a screen shot of our discord conversation before he banned me.

If you see this posted it is because I must given him the benefit of doubt, given him some days to cool off and have begged him on Twitter and he still resolves to keep me banned. He was still very rude to me on Twitter when I went to request he adds me to his group. ( the screenshots are there incase he blocks me too) I gave him 5 days to cool off from what ever must be irritating him as I felt his 8k loss on that particular day was making him act up.

PS there is nothing special about his TA courses and I do not advise you buy any versions he just keeps doing different versions of the same thing to sell to the persons already in his group. You would be wasting your money if you already know the basics in TA,if you know how to use Macd rsi and divergences there would be no need to buy his course, as for the Elliot wave theory stuff, don’t bother cos even him can’t count the waves correctly as with most people. I personally know the institutional method of trading already that focuses on price action, order blocks and Imbalance and did not get any thing extra from his course.

I would say he makes money from selling his courses more than his trades. Win rate was not impressive in my short time of being there.
Plus he would not keep his own side of his bargain, after banning you he doesn’t still give you access to the volatility scanner which is part of the course you paid for.

I would not recommend him at all as these are attributes of a mentally unstable person who is also fraudulent.

I think 2 years ago I was a member in hes group. I bought hes book for 1700 usd and was a "lifetime" member till upon a day he decided to ban me because he was upset I outperformed him. If he was a decent human being with a reputable level of professionalism, one could say his experience and acquired knowledge in respect to trading and investing in cryptocurrencies could and would be beneficial for Novice and Intermediate level learners- I daresay, perhaps more advanced traders could maybe learn something new from him as well. However, this person obviously has psychological issues and in response, constantly offends, demeans, degrades, insults and tries to tear down the self esteem of all those around him. Professionally, I am an educator, and those who pay me for my services are regarded and treated with dignity and respect. And my decorum, etiquette and demeanor towards my students is always present in the way I address myself to them. Everyone is annoying sometimes, but it's important in the role as an educator to be doubly responsible in how we react and respond to those challenges we are faced with. This person is by far the most unprofessional, insulting, hypocritical and disturbing individual I have ever come across in ANY learning environment! He is tyrannical and dictatorial and quite frankly mean and utterly grotesque. If, by chance you do watch his YouTube videos, do not let his "New Indicators" deceive you! There is little to no success with them! I decided to see what his discord was about and completely regret it. He berates his subscribers, is unprofessional, and rarely posts trades. He went on a tirade when I asked him how to cancel the subscription (Which is near impossible) and said I'd never make it in trading along with a flurry of swear words and insults.

UPDATE: He proceeds to ban me from his discord group and commit fraud. He used my credit card on file to charge me $800 which I had to call the bank to refund. Why would a supposed millionaire risk everything for $800? Philakone is a scammer, narcissist and fraud. STAY AWAY at all costs.

I contacted Philakone on Twitter about joining his Discord. He first sent me the price to be paid in crypto. I was wary about sending crypto as I know the transaction can't be reversed.

2 weeks later I contacted him again and simply asked if there were still places open for his group. He replied, "Hey Grant, Get F*%ked" then blocked me.

I was completely shocked!

At first I thought his account had been hacked. Upon further research I'd found many people have been scammed by this dishonest drunk. I believe Philakone was once a decent guy but it seems money has changed him.

I wish I had him as a teacher years ago. He’s very easy to follow and dumbs it down so even I could follow. He’s positive and seems like he genuinely cares that we become smart traders.

Inactive on his paid subscription discord group. His website that states what he will provide is not met. He pockets the $35 bucks a month of 100's of members whilst posting photos of himself and his friends enjoying the luxuries of his wealth whilst confirming he isn't in the right state of mind to work. He agreed to refund me and sent a screen shot of a refund but it turned out to be a refund to another member not to me. I tried to contact him and his went AWOL. For all of Philakone's skills he comes with a double measure of problems and excuses. Now he has turned into a con artist by not providing the service stated, not cancelling the group and accepting new members to line his pockets WHILST not refunding people he said he would. Shameful behavior.
