It was a very enjoyable day the instructor was very professional patient but firm. He provided exerlent training and assistance. Absolutely A1 experience would most definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn to ride.

I had a really great day with Adam, my instructor for my CBT.

Extremely knowledgeable and gave awesome advice throughout the day.

There was actually a minor issue with the 125 I was initially on (I'm also 6ft 2 and nearly 18st 🤣) the gear lever was almost under the bike. So to save fuss, myself and Dai, (the gent that did his CBT with me) were put on the Honda Hornets, 750cc.

So the level of trust and time given by Adam that day, will always stick with me and it's true what they say, a bigger bike is actually easier in many ways. Especially under the correct guidance, which Adam was not short of.

Great day, great school. Just looking forward to getting my Mod1 and 2 under my belt once there's availability.

Before coming to you, I had a really poor experience with another training company that left me feeling unsure, unconfident and even questioning whether I’d ever get my licence. But from my very first session with Phoenix, the difference was night and day. Your approach, your structure and the way you deliver coaching are simply exceptional. Every lesson felt purposeful, encouraging and perfectly tailored to help me improve – I’ve learned so much, not just about passing tests, but about being a confident, safe rider. My confidence has grown beyond what I thought possible, and that is all down to you.

A special, huge thank you to Adam, John and Julian – thank you for your endless patience, your clear, calm tuition and for always taking the time to explain things properly and build my confidence. You made every session enjoyable and never once made me feel silly for asking questions or needing extra practice.

And the result? I passed both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests first time! That’s not luck – it’s absolute proof of the quality of training you provide. I couldn’t be happier or more grateful.
I’ll be recommending Phoenix to absolutely everyone I know who’s looking to pass their motorcycle test – if you want the best tuition, great instructors and the best chance of passing well-prepared and confident, Phoenix is the only place to go.

Staff were brilliant, very polite and professional. The course was good, learning technique and guidance was spot on, really good and easy understanding. I would 100% recommend anyone wanting to do their CBT to use Phoenix 🙂

Great experience from start to finish. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable, positive and encouraging, and made everything feel simple and easy to understand. Would highly recommend!

For a 52 year old (not a mid-life crisis, honest) and having never sat on a bike, Phoenix were superb. They got me riding safely on the road by the end of the day, and I’ve now been bitten by the biking bug. Andy, our instructor, spoke very clearly, made everything much simpler and easy to understand, gave great feedback critical and constructive, so you knew what you did or didn’t do. I can’t recommend highly enough and I’ll definitely be back in touch with them to get the additional training I’ll need to get on a bigger bike.

Brilliant teaching methods, good location, bikes are very well maintained. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I used initially for my CBT. I stayed on the 125 for 14 months then went back for the big bike taster. After that I done my DAS through Phoenix. It was very easy to book everything was clear and easy. A massive shout out to Julian, amazing instructor and a credit to the company.

Jon was an absolutely fantastic instructor. Very patient, very encouraging. He was incredibly conscious of the fact we were CBT'ing on the hottest day of the year in 42 degree heat and allowed for lots of water breaks and took the classroom sessions in the shade rather than the hot classroom. Highly recommend Phoenix and Jon for completing your CBT. Hopefully will get him for when I book in for my full license

The session was very good, equal amount of practical and theory. Instructor was knowledgeable and covered all points, bikes were ideal for the days riding. Easy parking, easy access and all round enjoyable.

Completed my CBT at Cwmbran. The staff were all friendly especially our instructor Dylan who was great at explaining the manoeuvres, where I was going wrong and how I could improve. All round very supportive. I had a great day and would highly recommend them!!

Recently passed my CBT at Cwmbrân. Before I started I’d never rode a motorbike before, my instructor (Dylan - big shout out) was so thorough and explained everything so well. He was also very good when we got to the actually motorbike riding and eased my nerves. Would recommend this training course to everyone.
