Despite the fact I had already completed a a CBT certificate and needed only a renewal, I was still nervous. The instructor hands down made the day so much more enjoyable. My understanding is that he is new to the company, and I hope he stays!

Considering that I haven't rode a bike in nearly 40 years and that it was my first time on a motorbike.
I found that Simon was extremely helpful and had lots of patience.
Lots of good tips and extremely helpful.
Very good overall, and when I am due for CBT again, will definitely go back.

I chose BikeTrain Wales carefully, based on a number of positive reviews from women on their website. I was immediately put at ease by Julian. I had lots of lessons, mostly with Julian, but occasionally with Jon or another instructor. The lessons were great - exactly what I needed each time, and progressing at just the right pace. I joined when it was an independent, family-run company. During my time with them, it was taken over by an umbrella group - Phoenix. There were definitely some teething troubles, and it did feel different, with less flexibility and, weirdly, fewer options for lesson dates/ times. Overall though, Phoenix did look after me, and I passed in the end, so I have to give 5 stars! Thank you especially to Jess and Steve at Phoenix, and to Julian at BikeTrain Wales.

I had a great experience doing my CBT. Instructor was encouraging and made me feel at ease despite me being a bag of nerves at the start. I thoroughly enjoyed on the road training. Received great instruction and feedback on safety. Will definitely go again for my DAS.

Completed my CBT, and MOD 1 & 2 through the cwmbran branch, and I believe I dealt with or spoke to every member of staff - every single person was friendly, positive and extremely helpful. Special thanks to Julian who helped me with MOD 1 & 2 - genuinely lovely guy and incredible at what he does.

Had my cbt with Simon, what a absolute pleasure to learn from, his knowledge about bikes, safety gear and overall knowledge about safe riding is exceptional. Was lucky to have a 1-2-1 cbt session. Really enjoyed the day and Simon made it fun and enjoyable. And he pushed me to do better when little mistakes were made. Which was a huge confidence boost.

Thanks Again for a awesome day Simon. Will see you again when I book the next test.

Really enjoyable experience from start to finish. The instructors were both excellent, patient and knowledgable.

The instructors were excellent. They were very knowledgeable and coached with the right balance of critique and encouragement. They made me feel comfortable and guided me to passing Mod 1 and 2. Thanks guys!!

Julian from the Cwmbran training centre was exceptionally good, very professional, friendly and patient. He explained everything clearly right from the start to the end.
We used honda cb125cc and they were immaculate and I could tell they were highly maintained.

I am looking forward to doing the big bike experience/pre license evaluation in preparation for my mod 1 and 2

There is a great team working at the Cwmbran centre, really helpful. All the equipment is new and well looked after. I have done my CBT, Mod 1 & 2 with them. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get into motorbike riding.

The instructors kris and Julian was amazing. Their knowledge and patience was brilliant. They explained everything easy and clear. They made me feel safe and cofident. Highly recomend

I did my training at the centre in Cwmbran. All the way through my instructor Jon has been amazing. Picked me up when I was down (literally), amazing instructor, honest and wants nothing more than for you to get the pass but also loves seeing the improvement. Kris, Simon and Rhys were all equally as supportive and a great cheer squad. I thoroughly recommend Phoenix Motorcycle Training x

My 16 year old son recently took his cbt and had a fantastic instructor who made him feel very welcome he was dreading the day before hand but had absolutely nothing to worry about can’t thank the team enough from start to finish was a straight forward process and all round great experience for my son

Did my cbt with bike train wales about 19 years ago and again recently on the 29th and both times were excelent.
Simon was the instructor and couldnt fault him.
Going to do the rest of my training with them now for a bigger bike
