I can’t express enough how good my experience was with Steve and Lee. They are top quality instructors and great friendly lads, who are really passionate about what they do, and it showed. Looking forward to doing my DAS training with them ASAP.

I made the journey all the way from Bristol and felt very safe & welcomed by the instructors at Phoenix. I was rewarded my CBT and felt ready for the roads with what they had taught me throughout the day.
They gave me the best safety boots and clothing needed as I came unprepared and I am grateful because they could have sent me back home lol.

I would 100% recommended anyone that wants to be taught safely whilst having fun to book with the boys at Phoenix - Leamington Spa

Lee was amazing (and amusing...) had great patience with two novices (not nuns, you understand). He got us both through our CBT despite some wobbles from both of us. Very sensible and sound trainer. Many thanks for the day Lee - see you in a few months for my direct access maybe...

I would absolutely recommend Phoenix at Cubbington for your Motorbike training. Having no proper experience riding a bike I booked a 1 hr TryRide session to start with and thoroughly enjoyed it, I then booked a couple of 2hr PreCBT sessions, which made such a difference to my skill level and confidence on the day of my CBT. The instructors Lee and Martin are the epitome of professionalism, with clear instructions each step of the way, they made learning to ride really enjoyable, and gave lots of encouragement if I was struggling with something. Their passion for what they do really comes across and they want to make you the best rider they can, I will definitely be going back to do my big bike licence with them. Thank you Lee and Martin!

I recently had my CBT with Martin, and I must say, it was an absolute game-changer! This course was the most structured and informative I’ve ever come across in all of Warwickshire. The training was delivered at a super relaxed pace, without any pressure whatsoever. The perfect blend of practical training and Highway Code made it all the better. You’ll leave the training centre feeling both confident on your bike and on the roads. If you’re thinking of booking with Phoenix, I highly recommend it!

I recently completed my training with Phoenix Motorcycle Training and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. A huge thank you to Martin for guiding me through my CBT and to Lee for the fantastic Mod 1 and 2 training.

The quality of training was excellent throughout — clear, professional, and easy to follow — but what really stood out was the atmosphere. The mix of great teaching, genuine encouragement, and plenty of humour made me feel completely at ease, which makes a world of difference when learning something new.

Thanks to their support, I’m proud to say I now hold a full motorcycle licence! I honestly can’t thank this training school and its instructors enough for giving me the skills and confidence to achieve this. A long day, but emerged after 40 miles on the road totally delighted to have implemented the thorough training & taken away a beautiful CBT Certificate, felt as good as a Test Pass because it wasn't awarded lightly. Both Lee and Martin as trainers work 'overtime' to ensure competency, but always with max. courtesy & encouragement. Learned from both and strangely felt fairly competent out on the road, even getting in four consecutive U-turns. Many thanks.

Did my CBT here with Martin and it was a great experience. Having never touced a motorcycle before, Martin did a great job helping me learn and feel comfortable on a geared bike. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn to ride!

My Instructor was Lee at Leamington Spa Phoenix Motorcycle training and was fantastic. This was a half day back to biking course for someone who had not ridden a motorcycle in years. Lee was extremely patient, knowledgeable, tailored the training to individual student and made the session very enjoyable. The bike used was well prepared, and he was very through in his explanations of the controls, techniques and feedback given, particularly when out on the road. Prior to the course I had a number of questions / queries that were promptly and efficiently dealt with by the "back office" Phoenix staff. I would thoroughly recommend Lee, Phoenix and the session for those wanting to return to biking.

A recommendation from The Bike Shed last year reignited my journey back onto two wheels, and I’m so glad it led me to Phoenix Motorcycle Training.

Both Lee and Martin have gone above and beyond—not just as instructors, but as supportive, intuitive people who really understand how to cater to different learning styles and personal experiences. Having previously lost a friend in a road traffic collision, I carried a lot of anxiety. They both acknowledged that, and without judgement, helped me regain confidence at my own pace.

Their encouragement has genuinely transformed how I feel about riding—what started as a nervous return has become what I now call “throttle therapy.” I now look forward to getting on the bike, not just to pass a test, but because it brings me peace and joy.
