Hidden subscription fees. Buyer Beware,
Piano By Pictures uses unscrupulous methods to scam people into hidden subscription fees. I have tried to cancel for the past 7 months; I had to lock my credit card while they continued attempting to charge me every other week for $ 79.00. All I thought I was purchasing was a piano book that I could teach my grandchildren with. Please be aware when ordering anything from Piano By Pictures.

Very dishonest.
Paid for book and awaited delivery for up to 2 months. I was then automatically set up to have subscribe even though I had not. Despite my communication with them I was ignore and for a length of months I had money coming out of my account until I got my card provider involved. Stir clear of them because they have proven to be untrustworthy.

I highly recommend Piano By Pictures Academy to individuals seeking to learn how to play the piano. I absolutely love the simplicity of the program. I know first-hand how effective and accessible this program is for individuals of ALL ages and ability levels. My son, who has a diagnosis of Autism and is nonverbal, has been able to grasp the fundamental concepts for playing the piano: to understand the layout of the piano and play the piano keynotes. The facilitator and designer of the program has made learning easy through his online videos and easy to read large print sheet music.

This week, my son typed the capital letters of the alphabet using his communication app and paired it with the piano keynotes on his piano keyboard to play a song of his choice in its entirety. He has mastered playing all the notes of the song and is working on polishing it for submission to the Piano By Pictures Academy- A Private Piano Learning Community Group. It is amazing to see my son understand and learn how to play the piano.

I have wanted to play the piano most of my life. About 1 1/2 years ago I turned my dream into a reality. I joined Piano By Pictures and absolutely love the program. The group and private lessons are wonderful! The teachers are talented musicians and incredible to work with! So thankful to have found Piano By Pictures! ♥️

They offered free course books and we just pay for shipping. But in reality, it was actually for a monthly $37 subscription in which the charge hit the following month. Its a very deceptive practice. When I called to ensure to cancel this subscription that was not aware I signed up for and to request a refund - the representative was extremely rude, short, and hung up on me!

My husband enjoyed learning to play the piano using this method. However, they are not clear with how the ongoing charges work. We chose not to sign up for a membership --repeated answered "no" to the request. Then, we were charged anyway. When I called, I spoke to Scott who was immediately extremely rude (laughed at me, then called me names for questioning the charge). He said that when we accepted the "free" books, we automatically agreed to a membership -- which was NOT clear. I have NEVER been treated with such rudeness and therefore to not recommend this business. There was absolutely no need for Scott to be so rude and insulting.
Just heard from Jarrod, the CEO of the company. He listened back to the conversation I had with Scott and apologized. Jarrod was very kind and very sorry for my experience. He completely refunded (without me asking) all expenses we have incurred with the company. I am glad to know the company is willing to take a look when something goes wrong.

I ordered a free books and paid the shipping and I guess it included a 30 day trial and then you started being billed monthly. I did not realize that because was we had a waterbreak and were out of our home for 9 months. I am also am a caregiver for my husband with Parkinsons, blood disease and heart problems so when we finally got back into our home and was able to go through my statements it was then I realized what had been happening and when I told them my situation they had no empathy and said they would cancel my subscription and refund only the last months fee. I looked them up on BBB at that point and they had nothing but bad reviews for the last several years with people having the same complaint so I would stay clear of this company. They have no integrity.

I joined Piano By Pictures Academy 3½ years ago with absolutely no knowledge of piano or music. I could not read music, play chords, or even understand basic musical concepts. What caught my attention was the promise that I could start playing right away, and that is exactly what happened. Within just a couple of weeks, I was playing songs using the picture notation system.

That early success gave me confidence and motivated me to keep learning. What once seemed impossible became enjoyable and achievable. The lessons are presented in a simple, easy-to-understand way that allows beginners to make progress without feeling overwhelmed.

Over the years, I have learned so much more than I ever expected. I have enjoyed the monthly challenges, learned new techniques, improved my playing, and gained a greater appreciation for music. One of the best parts of the program is the supportive community. The teachers and fellow students are encouraging, inspiring, and genuinely want to see each other succeed.

Piano By Pictures Academy helped me accomplish my original goal of being able to play the piano. For someone who started from zero, that is truly remarkable. I am grateful for the knowledge, confidence, friendships, and musical skills I have gained during my time in the program.

I highly recommend Piano By Pictures Academy to anyone who has ever dreamed of playing the piano. No matter your age or experience level, this program can help you achieve goals you may have thought were out of reach.

I love all the classes I have access to! The instructors are varied in styles & talents, & there is so much I glean. Piano by Pictures has immensely helped my piano playing. I am grateful. So glad I stumbled across PbP a couple years ago. God is good!

I now enjoy learning how to play piano at my own pace at home. The zoom classes and recorded lessons on the website are helpful and enjoyable. The staff is positive and helpful.

Piano by Pictures (PbP) is a great program for people who have always wanted to play piano. They use pictures instead of sheet music which makes playing so much easier and quicker. I was skeptical at first but I took the plunge and stepped out on faith and I have been a member for the past three years. It is worth every penny and it is much more affordable than a private instructor AND you can go at your own pace. I will be performing solo at an event in October. That is an amazing feat for someone who had zero experience 3 years ago.

I took 2 years of piano in college and couldn’t play Mary had a little lamb. PbP I’ve been a member for 10 months and I’ve played solos at church.

At age 78 I was looking for a website to learn to play piano. The teachers on this site work with new students at all levels to learn, as well as making it fun so I won't give up.

Learning with piano by pictures is easy able to play song in 10 minutes.The teachers are great with a higher degree in music! So they know music theory a lot.!

Ben is a fun, generous, and knowledgeable teacher. I imagine everyone taking Ben's instruction will be looking forward to attending the each of the following classes. I know I do. Thank you, Ben.

I love the Piano by Pictures online classes. I have really learned a lot and picked up more than I learned as a child who never understood piano. Today I’ve been with them for less than 6 months and I can really play so many songs now !

I played piano as a teen. Lost the talent over years of not playing with no piano access. Joined PbP and now can play again. I have the ability to get so much PbP music and now playing more songs than ever.
