Honestly... not great. Stick to your pharmacy.
My insurance company, Manulife, recommended Pillway, clearly as a partner since they offer a lower filling price. At first, it sounded like a great and convenient option. However, the experience quickly became frustrating. What was supposed to be a transfer of one prescription (the only one I wanted to move to save money) turned into a three‑week process, and Pillway transferred all of my prescriptions without my approval.
After several back‑and‑forth chats, I was informed that they ship using Purolator, which immediately concerned me. Purolator is notoriously unreliable without a signature, and I’m often at work when they attempt deliveries.
To make matters worse, I was then told that my full refill wasn’t even available. They didn’t have the full quantity of pills I needed and only carry generic versions of half of my medications. Discovering all of this after going through a three‑week transfer process is extremely frustrating.
I came to Pillway specifically to get brand‑name medication at a lower cost, only to find out—weeks later, and as they’re preparing to ship—that they only stock generic versions. This whole experience has been disappointing and unnecessarily stressful.
