My boxer Bodhi has never bothered with fireworks until he was diagnosed with epilepsy last year and now he gets anxious and scared of so many things he never was before. However he hates anything on his head so before ordering his trainer let me try her dogs snood from pips on him to see if he’d wear it. As soon as we put it on him he led down and started to settle (after a quick pose for the camera 😂).
So it was a no brainer from me he had to have his own.
Now any loud noises ie. Fireworks, window cleaner etc I pop it on and he instantly calms down and goes off sleep 💤 he’s even nipped out in the garden for a bedtime wee with it on and not been fazed at all.
I’ve recommended these to his 9.5k followers on instagram and in many fb groups for epilepsy too and I know many of his followers have ordered and love them also #bodhiapproved

Pips Snoods: A Fireworks Game-Changer!

​After trying absolutely everything—noise training, diffusers, natural remedies, and even medication from the vet—I was starting to lose hope for my dog's extreme fireworks anxiety. I found a recommendation for pips snood on a Facebook page and decided to try it as a last resort. I wish I'd known about them sooner!
​I ordered it on a Sunday, and it arrived Tuesday morning, just in time for the awful bonfire fireworks. I immediately used positive reinforcement to help Bella associate the snood with good things, giving her cookies and praise while putting it on her head. The tips and videos on the Facebook page were incredibly helpful for this training!
​The snood worked in an absolutely brilliant way! Instead of shaking and being terrified, Bella sat on my lap sleeping through the noise wearing her snood.

My very anxious Jack Russell is terrified of every loud noise so Halloween has always been particularly stressful, the anti-panic snood worked like a dream. The boots I bought to protect my dogs pads were bespoke made to order and sized perfectly.
