I purchased a bed, nightstand and dresser. Two of the pieces arrived damaged and the third piece full-size bed had some screws that were too short to attach the support beam to the middle of the bed. Shanell with Customer Service was incapable of understanding when I sent a picture showing the bolt being too short that it indeed was too short. After many many emails back-and-forth, they replaced the nightstand and the dresser and send me one bolt assembly for the bed it needed 2. The replacement nightstand was also damaged and they offered me a new one or a refund. I chose the refund. The replacement dresser was in good order except for an area where the stain wasn’t right. I chose to keep that dresser because I was just too damn tired of dealing with this company. They say that their products are solid wood, and that is not the case. There is particleboard and laminate incorporated into the furniture. The headboard on my bed was particleboard with thin laminate. The dresser was mostly solid wood, but the entire back was particleboard, and the bottoms of the drawers were two. The sides in the back of the drawers were not finished. I would not purchase from them again. Their furniture is manufactured in Vietnam and their headquarters is in South Carolina. I wish I could add pictures so that you could see the issues I had.

This was a great experience for me. I love the quality of real wood, the price and the customer service. I’m 83 and put the 3 door media console together by myself. The instructions were excellent and all the pieces and connectors were identified. I’m beyond pleased.

Item arrived damage and despite reaching out multiple times through their return request form no one responded. Their customer service is nonexistent - worse than terrible. I DO NOT recommend buying anything from this company. I'd give zero stars if possible. Poor quality all around.

Plank and Beam has not replied to my email. As a result, their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Do not buy from Plank and Beam.

I assembled the rustic full-size bed and it looks new overall. However, a few pieces of wood had minor damage when I received them. Also, a few of the screw holes made by the manufacturer was flawed, so the screw would not fit properly. Because of this, I drilled a new hole to attach the bed panel correctly and lightly sanded the area. The bed is fully assembled and stable, and the modification is minor.

Additionally, Additionally, the middle bed panel did not have two supports, so I installed two support legs under the center panel to provide better stability. The bed is fully assembled, sturdy, and the modifications are minor. Overall, in my opinion, the product deserves about 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Terrible quality and even worse customer service! If you attempt to return they offer you a discount to keep them, and then attempt to scare you with the shipping cost…

I bought 4 bunk beds for a hunting camp, assembled one, and it was immediately evedent that these beds are not fit for adults. The bed rocked and swayed with a light adult, the wood was so soft it dented by just a step. We immediately packed the bed back up in the factory box and wrap and yet my charge for not likeing the sub par quality product, almost $400!

There is a lot of cheap metal bunks on the internet, for a fraction of the cost of these. If your going to buy a low quality bed, might as well save yourself about $500 and get one of those!

I ordered two consoles from Plank and Beam, but decided to return them because the console tops looked terrible and not like the photos on the website. I'm still trying to send them back even though the return will cost $85, but it's impossible to reach them by phone. I've tried three times only to wait 20 mins on hold then to be dropped/hung up on each time. By email, it's been equally frustrating as I'm told to print the pre-paid (by me) return labels that they never actually attach in the email. My guess is they're hoping I'll give up and keep their very subpar products. I will never buy from them again. Lesson learned the hard way.

I ordered a bed, which the website would be delivered by 11/13. After I finished purchasing, the delivery timeline shifted out a week. When I opened the box, it was missing hardware. The customer support/replacement parts team was in no hurry to replace the parts, so I have to wait another week to put the bed together.

Also the bed itself was scratched when I opened the box, and I told the service team this, and they didn't respond.

Three of five tables we ordered looked beautiful upon assembly. In 2 months time, the developed hairline cracks across the top that continued to expand to 1/2 in crevices. The company sent a replacement end table when I noticed the first table cracking and the replacement arrived in the same cracked condition. I foolishly went by the reviews on their website instead of using random reviews which cite many customers experiencing the same issue. Huge waste of time and money. Not recommended.
