Based on my experience, DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered some plug plants some time ago and was given a delivery window of 19-22 May. As of 10 Junem the plants still haven't arrived. Also, despite 2 emails and a whatsapp message to Plantroops to enquire what is going on, there is still no communication whatsoever from them. As co-ordinator of a horticultural project, I order from online garden companies all the time and am usually very happy with the service I receive, so am really disappointed with this company.

I hope others have a better experience.

You can register and report this online under Buying/Selling fraud type: reportfraud 'dot' police 'dot' UK. You will then get a crime reference number which you can take to the bank to look at the refund process. If the bank refuses refund, you escalate to Financial Ombudsman.

Financial Ombudsman

Investigate disputes between financial businesses & customers. Can be useful if someone is refused a refund after a scam. Please don't ask victims to contact them unless they have already complained to their financial institution.

Waiting for some sweet potatoe slips that have not arrived. Paid £42.Only to go to a garden centre to find the same plants were £15.00 for 3. What a fool I've been. Don't make the same mistake as me.Avoid like the plague

I did leave a 1 star review after not receiving my items by the stated date (02/06/26) and no communication after sending an email asking for an update. An hour after leaving the review and 4 days after the ‘delivered by’ date my package arrived. The plants look good but again the lack of communication is shocking

Heard nothing from them after ordering a blackberry plant. No contact, do not respond and item still not sent. Unreliable and will never give money to them ever again. I will share my experience as well. They are a fake company!

ordered this plant but when it arrived wrong plant had been sent. Tried to contact company through their '24hr contact' via email and whatsapp and no response after 2 weeks. The invoice states the plant came from a gardering company via ebay so contacted them refunded the company but then states theyve never heard of plantroops. still unable to contact plantroops who now have both my payment and my refund. They are con artists. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as you will lose your money. There is no phone number for contact only a gmail account and whatsapp / mobile that never gets answered. I am reporting to trading standards.

I ordered some plants and only 1 out of 4 arrived. There is no contact with the customer service, no one replies to emails or messages, all goes into a black whole. Don't waste your money. This company is a scam.

Ordered a plant from this company and was sent a completely different variety from another company called gardeners dream. Plantroops did not respond to emails, complete waste of money!

I can't believe I've been scammed so easily, it's laughable. I usually check reviews, but for some reason I just went ahead and ordered from this site without a thought.

I ordered a hydrangea, and it arrived from a completely different company. There's no invoice, and it's smaller than what should have arrived. There's also no UK plant passport on it... I have no idea what it is. I went on the site it came from, also dodgy looking, and they don't even sell the type I ordered.

Lastly, I watered it, and a slug came out!

I ordered two strips of edamame beans (really pricey, nearly a tenner a strip) and 1 strip of cheaper shallots. Three strips of shallots arrived, but no edamame plants though. I contacted them three or four times by email and by phone to try and resolve the issue and have had absolutely no reply. I’m £30 down on really expensive edamame plants and haven’t a bean to show for it. Very disappointing. Avoid this nonsense

Oh wow! I got scammed! I never thought it would happen to me! This is a hundred percent criminal scam website, with no address for ‘returns’ of the junk they sent me instead of my order. No communication, false tracking - how very awful. Please no one go near this site.

If I could leave no stars I would. This is a terrible company, avoid at all cost. The customer service is shocking, they just ignore any contact by phone or email. Deliver was also late.

DO NOT ORDERfrom this scam of a 'company'!

I placed an order for 2 different types of strawberry plants - then one day received an extremely badly packed parcel containing fewer plants than I had paid for, of just one variety that I had not ordered. Further this which had come via Gardeners Dream and ebay! I have reported to my credit card company but do not have much hope that my order will be corrected.

Avoid, they sell stuff they do not have and you will never get, so like me you may need to resort to your credit card provider. Seemingly a dropshipping outfit based in Pakistan.

In more detail they break UK consumer law because they have no physical presence in the UK, just a virtual office address and a gmail address. Their MO seems to be to use ebay sellers to send gifts or cheap alternative products to provide false tracking information they can use to dispute getting money clawed back by card companies.

Please if you get scammed by them, get a crime reference number by reporting the fraud. Report Plantroops to shopify and get your money back from your card company. Please remember that to defend any claim they will need to, but be unable to show they personally fulfilled any order from their address and that is impossible using third party ebay stooges. For clarity for anyone who is scammed their virtual office is icon offices in Romford. Point that out and the mismatch in tracking information to your card company

Received no invoice, no communication, and no delivery by promised date. Tried to email company but Mail Daemon response came back. Unable to contact past delivery date promise so opened complaint on credit card. Plantroops suddenly responds and lies to me that they were affiliated with another plant company and they shipped the order. plantroops then had a tracking number from another company and said I could return it to Pakistan but the address is for a website development company and not a plant company. However when I contacted the "affiliate" company (Holland bulbs) who had the tracking number they stated they "have never even heard of plantroops" , that they have no affiliate companies, and they don't know how plantroops would have a tracking number for a package they sent me. I have ordered from Holland bulbs every year for a number of years and never had any issues like this.

Ordered seeds from their website but instead received totally different, much cheaper seeds from another company who had taken an order on eBay from someone else! They appear to be based in Pakistan and drop-shipping incorrect product to fulfil orders. Avoid.

I checked on trustpilot before ordering with this company for the first time. I'm glad I did. After reading very a very poor review here I looked closer on the plantroops website. The reviews on the website for the apple tree I was buying were plain weird. 2 different reviewers gave this identical review "Five stars for the Family Apple Tree. The fit, feel, and look are all perfect." The fit and feel of an apple tree? Another read "It’s alright. The Family Apple Tree works fine, but could be improved in some areas." It seems they didn't check to see if the AI's reviews made any sense. Then I read reviews on other items, the same 4-5 people review every product and substitute the item name in the review "So happy with my purchase of the Cabbage Spring Hero F1 AGM Plants. It's stylish, comfortable, and well-made" I've never considered how stylish and comfortable cabbages were before.
The final klaxon warning was the contact details for the 24/7 support, @domain.com and +0123456789. These scammers need to put in more effort.
