Timely service in a very nice and tidy vehicle. The driver really looked after my daughter and her friend on their prom

Further to my earlier (good!) review on this company’s Facebook page I was a repeat customer and booked with this firm for my daughters year 11 prom- so 5 years on.

I was disappointed. The limo was shabby inside and the sound system did not work. The girls ( bear in mind they are 16!) were told to put a CD on. What 16 year old even has a CD (or knows what they are!!).. the sound system was not working and only played static. The driver was unable to resolve and suggested the girls just played music off their phones with no connection to the car’s sound system.

Really disappointing when this should have been part of the fun experience for a group of excited girls about to go to prom!

I have called twice to complain and each time feel I’ve been fobbed off.. initially I was told the driver was on holiday so I called back just now to repeat my complaint and see what the driver had reported. Apparently the sound system has worked at every other event.. that’s great but it didn’t work for mine and we paid so much money for a vehicle that wasn’t up to scratch!!!! I’ve now been told the manager is on holiday so they’ll get back to me.

I’ve told them not to bother & that I feel I am being fobbed off until I go away.

I simply now advise caution booking with this firm as ours was a disappointing experience!

Woeful service - never even turned up

They absolutely left us in the lurch on our wedding day. I booked a Hummer Limo for a wedding, I initially booked it for 2pm but as with weddings everything changes last minute and there's a lot to organise, we found out late that the bridal party needed to arrive at the venue at 2:45pm. The venue was 20 mins away, and I booked a one-way rental at a price of £350.

I got a call literally an hour and a half or so before 2pm by the driver confirming everything but said that the bridal party needed to be ready straight away which simply couldn't happen as they would get there far too early. I pleaded with the company asking if there was anything they could do to offer some flexibility with an extra 20 minutes, saying I would pay extra, but they just wouldn't.... leaving me absolutely screwed.

I appreciate you have other jobs on, but spending £350 on a short journey and having no flexibility at all because you've booked a job far too quickly after is just not on and ridiculous.

You can keep your deposit, I don't care, I just wanted you to know the pain and issues you caused on an already stressful day.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Update: They replied very aggressively on Facebook to my review, stating they would chase me for the remainder of the payment & that they are a 5 star company (clearly not). I replied to that effect, they removed my comment and banned me, another display of fantastic customer service.

We booked baby Bentley limo for my birthday party. The driver was rude, unprofessional and made whole experience not very memorable.

I hired a limousine ( Hummer H2 Limousine/16 seater) from this company on the 30th of May for my cousin's wedding in Liverpool. The driver picked us from home to a park for photo and we arrived at the park around 4:30 pm. We were ment to arrive at the wedding hall at 6 pm. The Limousine were not there from where it was at 5:20 pm. I thought he was going to return back but that wasn't the case. It turned out that he left us stranded. I called him 10 times, he didn't pick up. I phoned the office and only the picked their phone after 5 attempts. By now it was 5:45 pm and when I asked them why he left us, I couldn't believe what he was saying.
He simply said he left us because some one said to him we didn't need him and he was free to go. I am the one who hired him and he knows me and I was there they didn't consult me. First no one was going to say that and even if any one said to them, the terms and conditions clearly stated that "the driver will not accept any instructions from any member other than the hirer."
Anyways, despite I paid my money, I begged them that we need to be at the venue at 6 and they need to do something. However, even without any apology, they said it is nearly 6 and they can't do anything. We waited for taxi for 50 minutes and we hired 4 taxis for all of us and finally arrived 7:20 pm.
The whole program was a mess just because of them. I am still trying to talk to the manager but they are not picking their phone.
POOR customer service and UNPROFESSIONAL

Saf made a long exciting day set off to an awesome start. He was prompt and ensured I was notified on expecting time of arrival ahead of schedule. He was courteous and patient throughout the journey. Very considerate and helpful too. We had a great journey travelling with Platinum Limo Hire.
The booking experience was also straightforward and easy to complete. I would recommend using the services of this company and would not hesitate to use again in future. Thank you for a pleasant experience.
