My experience with Plykea was excellent. I worked with Kate, who was helpful, patient, knowledgable and full of great ideas, always answering my questions promptly and thoughtfully. She ensured I understood the process and that my order arrived on time.

Delivery was straightforward, well-packaged, and the driver was very helpful with the heavier items. The quality of the fronts and side panels was excellent, and everything fitted perfectly with my IKEA base units.

I had a small issue after delivery, but the customer service was again outstanding. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the service and support I received.

Got a quality bespoke kitchen from these plywood artisans.. incredibly happy with the quality and the value and levels of service. Good stuff!

The support I received from Kate & the Plykea Team was, professional, friendly & caring. Kate was so patient with me as I made up my mind about colour, style and what I really wanted my kitchen to look like. I got there in the end & now I’ve a beautiful and cool looking kitchen. I live in Northern Ireland and since Brexit we are sometimes limited to choice of products that can be delivered.

I was looking for a colourful retro kitchen that would fit my newly renovated home by the sea. It needed to blend with the open plan living/dining space. Also I was looking for a kitchen that I could afford on top of my renovation bill which exceeded my initial costings due to the price of materials nowadays!!

I’d had an ikea kitchen in my previous home which I loved. However I could not find the doors and worktop I wanted.

Thanks to the power of social media I came across Plykea and was delighted to find they fitted with Ikea carcasses. The only problem I found was choosing a colour as there was so much choice. I took inspiration from Plykea’s gallery of jobs that had been completed.

Kate from Plykea made the whole planning easy and stress free. My bespoke kitchen was made and delivered it to NI at a fraction of the cost of kitchens I had been considering.

I absolutely love my Plykea kitchen. The white Formica worktop looks so crisp and is easier to clean than I had thought!! I was a bit worried about it staining but on reading previous reviews I decided to go for it.

I had a flood incident and thankfully the marine ply kickboards and worktops were robust and suffered no water damage.

I would highly recommend Plykea.

My experience was super, from the advice how to purchase the Ikea items, the design drawings and the patient answers to my many questions! I am super happy with the end product, a combination of oak for the upper units and just rose formica for the lower units

We absolutely love our chrome yellow cupboard doors and worktop for our boot/utility room! We had a few hiccups with the order and it took a bit of time but Plykea were always responsive, good at communicating with us and sorting everything out to our satisfaction.

They have lovely products, but oh my, their customer service is awful. You cannot reach anyone by phone. You have to write them an email and wait weeks for them to respond.
My order was incomplete and had a few flaws. I couldn’t reach them so my joiner had to find solutions on the spot. A real letdown by their customer service!

We looked at a few options for our new kitchen but Plykea stood out as soon as we saw their gallery of previous designs, which very much matched the look we wanted.

What isn't obvious at first glance is the quality of the product - our (otherwise reticent) kitchen fitter commented admiringly on the finish - which includes the bespoke 'Urtil' wall units we ordered, which turned up with matching grain and precision-cut spaces for the (excellent) IKEA mittled lights. Plykea are also lovely people to deal with and provide a very personalised service (thanks Kristine!).

The end result is exactly what we'd hoped for, but at first thought would be out of our reach. The quality of finish means our kitchen looks and feels nothing like a compromise compared to bespoke equivalents at (at least) twice the price.

Buying from Plykea has been a great experience. The process was simple and the product is excellent! We are really thrilled with our new wardrobe doors. They turn a standard Ikea product into something really special. We now have a wonderfully calm and modern bedroom that feels unique and special.

Plykea offer a fantastic service for getting that fabulous plywood kitchen you've dreamed of but thought you couldn't afford. We had such fun designing our new kitchen with Kate's help, and she made the process fairly painless for us, bearing with us patiently while we dithered over colours and upstands and (lovely) knobs and handles (by Swarf hardware). There were perhaps more moving parts to organise than a straightforward off-the-shelf kitchen would have had, and we needed to be on the ball about co-ordinating the different aspects of the project, but we were eventually able to achieve exactly what we wanted, at a reasonable price and looking brilliant. They also recommended the Bora induction hob and built-in extractor fan, which is fantastic.The quality of the Plykea craftsmanship is excellent, and communication with the team was super easy. We liked the sustainable aspect of their work, too. The visits to the showroom were always fun, and Kate welcomed us warmly and made time for all of our endless questions. We are thrilled with the result, and are so happy we found Plykea - have been recommending the company to all our friends!

I originally dismissed the idea of a plykea kitchen as I assumed it would be too much hassle dealing with both Ikea & Plykea- but the whole process was v. straightforward, v. easy, v. reasonable and I have ended up with a kitchen far far more wonderful than I ever expected! Leah was v. helpful, queries were answered quickly in most cases and revisions to my design were produced with no hassle. I didn't need to visit a showroom- all was done online. The doors, worktops and handles look to be of v. good quality- I can't really find anything negative to say. Happily award 5 stars!

Lovely small business in East London supplying v high quality kitchen fronts. They helped us work out what would work for us and were very patient with the back and forth. The result is very sturdy and looks amazing. Thank you.

Great customer service.
When a part was missing they delivered it the following day.
We needed an extra panel which I hadn't ordered in the original design and the staff were very helpful in getting this to us at a reasonable price.

We can't be happier with our experience with Plykea. We were very tight regarding time and Kate and the team managed to produce our kitchen ahead of schedule. It looks incredible. I would definitely recommend Plykea, they are professional, helpful and very efficient.

We are incredibly happy with our Plykea kitchen - we worked with the team to get exactly what we wanted and now have the perfect kitchen. We had a really helpful appointment with Leah at the London showroom and factory we then had fantastic support from Stine who helped us all the way through until the project was completed.

The materials are just wonderful from the grain in the oak to the fenix that doesn't leave fingermarks. We feel very proud to have such a beautiful and unique kitchen and would have no hesitation in recommending Plykea if you want something a bit special.

The whole Plykea experience has been great. The packing, the labelling, the various online tips and guides, and numerous design tweak emails all fantastic. I’ve been recommending them to everyone. We did a similar process for self-renovating our last kitchen with another company that did doors for ikea units, and whilst the doors were of a good quality, the service and information was no where near as thorough or comprehensive.

Plykea staff has been extremely helpful and delivered everything on time. I usually find it a bit difficult to do everything over email but Plykea really works. The staff answers promptly to any questions I had along the way.
The fronts i ordered for a new kitchen are brilliant. it looks great! Can recommend them anytime.
