Steve did a great job of making a complex install look really easy. There was no mess, minimal disruption and he helped ensure the device and my app were running before he left. Top stuff.
I had an extremely disappointing…
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Pod Point. After placing my order, I was suddenly given a random installation date without any prior discussion or agreement, which was already frustrating.
What made things far worse was the complete lack of customer service. I tried calling their support line every day for over a week, spending 30–45 minutes on hold each time, constantly being told I was “3rd in the queue” — yet no one ever answered. It felt like a complete waste of time.
I also sent multiple emails asking for updates and clarification about the installation and trying to rearrange the date, but I never received any response at all.
In the end, I had no choice but to formally complain and cancel my order. The whole experience has been an absolute joke. If this is the level of service at the beginning, I can’t imagine how difficult it would be to deal with any issues after installation.
I would strongly advise others to avoid Pod Point if you want to save yourself time, stress, and disappointment.

Wallbox not installed successfully
Wallbox not installed successfully - charge won't connect to vehicle.
Contractor rude at point of (failed) installation.
Delayed response from customer service team to fix issue and to send an engineer out.
No engineer coming out for another 3 weeks which will mean no fix for at least 2 months after payment for wallbox and installation initially provided.

After a frustrating couple of hours trying to charge my EV, I phoned the helpline. A friendly and helpful Joel took me through the procedure and had me charging in 5 minutes. Well done Joel and thanks again.

Fabulous, the fitter was great, pleasant and friendly. He arrived and just cracked on, updating me on what he was doing. Once it was installed he went through everything with me. I can highly recommend this company.

Stephen explained what he was going to do and completed the work in no time. The charger was installed neatly and looks very smart. He left the area clean and tidy as well. He explained how the charging unit and app works. Excellent service! Thank you.

Charger connection and wifi problem
The customer service support was excellent, taking me through the connection service and enabling the charger. the problem occurred after a change in router and broadband.
Great service
There was a problem with the installation date but Pod worked with me to sort this out. A marker of a good company is how they perform when things don't go right.
Installation itself was seamless. Professional service.
