I used their Essay Plans throughout my A Levels and they were very helpful, especially in planning for the more niche and tricky questions. I also used their tutoring service in Year 13, which was great. My Tutor Orla was amazing, helping me to improve my essay writing significantly.

Helped me to achieve an A* when I had been at a B and helped me so much as I was doing A-level politics independently from my sixth form as they didn't offer it! I would highly recommend Daisie as a tutor she really helped with giving last minute lessons and giving me the confidence I needed!

Incredible YouTube videos, resources, essay plans etc. will led to me achieving an A*, including 82/84 in paper 2. All my friends who used Politics Explained achieved high grades, mostly A*s!

I really struggled with politics during a level and was mostly averaging on grade C and D, however i completely changed it round when i started using the essay plans and keeping up with the youtube vids. I am very thankful this has helped me achieve a grade A. Highly recommend!

Genuinely amazing! Used all the essay plans, the revision videos for all the papers and the last minute ones. I've always struggled with politics because it's so much information but this just helped me focus on all the stuff I needed to know and helped me remember all the important and niche examples that I could use in all my essays. I have just revived an A and couldn't have done it without this website I didn't use anything else to revise. Incredible thank you so much so grateful!!!

Politics Explained was a fantastic resource which allowed me to fully understand concepts that hadn't been taught thoroughly. It gave accurate and up to date examples and was extremely helpful in knowledge for all areas of the course, from ideologies to UK and US government and politics. It was a significantly positive tool in enabling me to gain the top grade at A level.

I went from getting Cs and Ds in my mock exams to an A in the real thing mainly because of the Politics Explained essay plans and the essay writing tutorials on youtube. Cannot thank you enough!

Y12 was stuck on a high B/low A. Bit the bullet and got the essay plans for P1,P2 and P3, as well as the 12 markers for P3 and ideologies notes.

Yesterday I got my results and I was 42 marks above the A* boundary, and 31 away from full marks. Saved me so much time.

I brought both the easter revision webinars and essay plans. Today i received an A* in my a level politics and received the highest in my cohort for my school!! They are so worth the money and were so useful in saving my time to focus on my other subjects allowing me to achieve highly in those as well. Would definitely recommend for all pupils who want an a* and are struggling, in particular those not well versed in politics before starting the a level (like me!). So easy to understand and the easter webinar allowed plenty of time for questions so walked into the exam fully confident. Thank you to Oli and the whole politics explained team!

Honestly, it gave me so much confidence through providing clear knowledge through the essay plans and explained the more difficult concepts and ideologies through video - cannot recommend them enough.

holy moly what a goat. carried me from an E in yr12 to an A in yr13, can’t recommend politics explained enough !!! made everything so simple to understand and predictions were on point

throughout year 12 and most of year 13 i was struggling massively with politics alevel to the point i began to consider it as my "throwaway subject" and accepted the E i was being predicted. around march time i discovered politics explained and decided to really put my head down. today i opened my envelope to an A*! i put in a lot of work to turn my grade around to this extent but i owe a lot of it to oli in organising my revision as efficiently as possible to make sure i could learn and revise all of the content in time to a high quality. don't let anyone ever tell you you can't go up more than 2 grades after your year 13 mocks- especially if you use politics explained! i was told after i got a D in my y13 politics mock that it was unlikely i would get higher than a C in my final grade. They clearly didn't know i had oli on my team😝
