The painting is beautiful, Kate did a great job! I got this painting as a gift for my boyfriend for our anniversary and he loved it. Kate created a custom painting from photos and requests from me, and was very communicative throughout the whole process! It took just under 9 weeks from initial message to receiving the art. I couldn’t be happier with these two oil paintings. They were created from two photographs I took myself, one of the Victory Column in Berlin and the other of the Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima, neither of which I could find any paintings of elsewhere, and somehow Kate has transformed them into something even more special.

From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. Kate kept in regular contact throughout, sharing progress updates and checking in to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. I was also really impressed with the turn around time from me submitting my request to the paintings arriving on my doorstep, especially given that I had request 2 paintings.

Seeing the finished paintings in person completely exceeded my expectations. The texture is absolutely beautiful, and the depth and detail bring both scenes to life in such a unique way. They’re going to be the feature pieces in my living room once renovations are finished, and I honestly couldn’t have chosen anything better. I wanted to wait a month or so after I received the painting to write a review so I could get past my initial excitement of seeing the portrait in person for the first time. I have to say, I still love it. It perfectly captures our girl's joy and love of the beach. The painting evokes emotions that a blown-up picture wouldn't be able to do. This has helped immensely with dealing with her passing away. The process of commissioning this portrait was professional and Kate was very conscientious about the situation. She made sure that the portrait was exactly as I envisioned, even making adjustments to the final portrait. I was worried it may get damaged during shipping overseas but it was packaged extremely well - no problems at all. I'm very happy to have this painting on our mantle so I can still see our girl's smile every day. Totally worth every penny for an authentic, handmade oil painting. Thank you, Kate!
