I'm Asking Poseidon To Make Things Right With My Horrible Repair
After spending thousands of dollars with Poseidon over a 45-day period, my 1978 YSB 12 still won’t start. I won’t be calling your team to get it going as apparently there is no such thing as a “warranty repair” when the first repair by your tech doesn’t go well. So, while I haven’t yet posted anything on Google, I am considering posting all of what occurred, including my Poseidon Invoice Copies, Invoice Dates and amounts of repairs and replacement parts…still with no positive result. I’m not blaming Poseidon; I just don’t believe your team knows this diesel motor type or how to repair it without additional research or instruction efforts by your Service Team. When I’ve called for an additional service appointment, after an expensive repair, the last two times, rather than the tech fixing what he did or didn’t do during the prior repair, I’m told… “It wasn’t related to the last repair and it’s now something else.” So, because I’m a trusting person who is at the mercy of those who should know more about these things, I agree to pay thousands for another original Yanmar part plus installation…and it still doesn’t work and I get another $1,300 invoice. So, what I’m asking for is your recommendation on another Mobile Boat Mechanic that I can call to finally get this very simple, uncomplicated, one-cylinder diesel motor running like it did for years before Poseidon was involved. Oh, and you’re going to love this one…I discovered what appeared to be a random, unauthorized (to my knowledge) $29.00 for something called “Poseidon Plus” was charged to the AMEX Card you have on file for my account. I asked for an explanation several weeks ago but still haven’t received any response. I was fortunately able to stop the charge with AMEX, as they flagged it as “fraudulent” and have blocked your company for any future charges.
As I’m writing this, I would agree not to post my positive/negative experience on Google, if you’ll agree to send out the tech “ONE MORE TIME” but only after he reads up on how to repair a 1978 YSB 12 Yanmar Deisel Boat Motor and gets it running at no additional charge to me. If you feel this request is unfair and you refuse, I totally understand. But as a result, I’ll tell everyone one I know about my Sailboat Repair Tragedy. The Customer Service Response and Recovery is now in your hands.
With Sincere Appreciation.
