Used part of a Buyagift voucher to buy the £35 brownie and blondie box….bad mistake ! Each “ cake “ is less than 1 inch square and they are extremely dry.
They are really not worth using your voucher on !
I would advise anyone not to bother, unless you are gluten free and have no alternative. They are a complete waste of time and money

Firstly I loved the fact I was able to contact Positive Bakes by phone. Shout out to Liam, who answered all my questions and confirmed my order during our phone chat. I ordered the Signature Brownie and Blondie Selection Box. They arrived next day and more importantly tasted delicious each and every one. No complaints in my house about these. I will order again. My family members who live out of town would prefer these to a bouquet of flowers as a gift for birthday or anniversary etc. Highly recommend. Thank you again Liam.

Ordered afternoon tea via Buy A Gift.
Turned up on time.
Scones stodgy and heavy. Non cream was like eating fondant icing.
Overall a very expensive waste of money.

The picture on their site shows a big box of large thick brownies, the reality is far different. It is in actual fact a small box of factory-looking-made tiny bite sized brownies that all taste the same (which is tasteless), have a stodgy grainy taste to them. Absolutely misleading and a waste of money, DO NOT BUY.
1* purely for the fast delivery. If I could go lower, I would.

We LOVED the gluten free afternoon tea and scones. Was a delightful valentines day treat

A selection of products - boxed 'brownies' / fruit cake etc. were given to me as a Christmas gift
The "brownies" were tiny, stodgy overdecorated, and sickly. The" fruit cake" contained hardly any fruit, was so dense and heavy it could hardly be cut, and had an unpleasant dry texture that made it almost inedible.

All in all, an expensive, overpriced range of products bought with an expectation that didn't materialise.

The personal touch and wish to support is amazing!
The items look great. They are rich, so eat smaller amounts and savour the flavour.

They were bought as a gift ,I found them really rich and stodgy ,I couldn’t eat a whole one so cut them in half .Cant say I could taste the different flavours was rather disappointed as they looked amazing ! Not for me I’m afraid , if you like stodgy sickly brownies then you might enjoy .

I was very excited to find a selection of brownies which were all gluten free. Sadly, they do not taste great. There are supposed to be 5 different flavours and its difficult to work out which is which. They all just taste very similar and sugary with no stand out flavour. They are also very small. This was a gift and cost £35. I certainly wouldnt pay that for them. Overall very disappointed.

After complaining about non delivery had personal email reply to make every effort to make sure another afternoon tea was sent as replacement.
Fault lay not with the company but the delivery system - good were damaged in transit and I wasn't informed.
The tea provided was very good and tasty and would use again for a special occasion.

Regarding the afternoon tea box: The scones are the centrepiece of this package and were mediocre. Even following the warming instructions, they were not what I would refer to as a scone. More like stollen without the marzipan. However, they would still have got 3 stars if not for the, frankly, insane price. 4 scones, jam, cream alternative and 2 teabags for £20 plus delivery. The teabags and jam are just supermarket stuff which can be bought at a tenth of the price locally. The cream is very nice, though weirdly there is enough for about 10 scones. We purchased some more scones locally to use the rest of it, and they were better and much cheaper than those supplied by positive bakes.
The whole thing came in a box, which was inside another larger box with some extra packing paper thrown in. Environmentally inexcusable. We got these as a gift. I would not buy.
Regarding brownies, blondies and citrus tarts: these were much better, tasted great, but still expensive and with a crazy amount of packaging. I suggest doing forests a favour and buy local.

I spent £50 on a mothers day afternoon tea box and was so so disappointed. I tried everything in the box and it has all ended up being thrown away. It was all sickly sweet and thoroughly unpleasant. I was most excited about the clotted cream and scones - the scones were really stodgy and tasted very unnatural and the clotted cream tasted like whipped cream with a tonne of sugar added to it, simply not edible. I treated myself to this box as I also really wanted to try the savoury elements. The crackers were all completely broken and the pate was horrendous. It had what tasted like a thick layer of butter on the top and was just simply, again, inedible. It was shared with my family and all 5 of us agreed. We were so so hopeful it was going to be amazing but unfortunately felt we completely wasted our money.

Ordered afternoon tea scones, clotted non dairy cream and jam boxed set for Mothers Day. Paid for named delivery day.
Gluten free, vegan baked goods which are fantastic for those of us with food intolerances and autoimmune disease.
The scones were absolutely delicious and the dairy free cream too. A real treat and perfect for a special occasion.

Only improvement I suggest for Positive Bakes is to place a freezer pack/fice bag in with the box to keep the clotted cream cool. If the package is left in a porch or with a neighbour, etc it may get warm. An ice bag would help.

Still highly recommended free from afternoon tea though

Meh! Bit gutted, ordered for my husband a box of the 25 brownies and blondies, a couple of the flavours were absolutely gorgeous, they're so nicely decorated but they're titchy and the rest all taste the same!

I ordered 99 boxes of brownies for my team, and they were delivered to different areas across the UK. The service we got from Liam was exceptional. They all arrived really well packaged and the brownies were SOOOOOOO very yummy!!! They could be the best brownies I've ever tasted! Nobody could tell they were vegan and gluten free. In fact, the response from the team was overwhelmingly positive, and the Teams chat completely exploded once deliveries started arriving. One of the best comments was "Can someone overdose on brownies? Asking for a friend" 🤣
I can highly recommend Positive Bakes! I will be back to place more orders for sure! Thank you Liam!

Positive Bakes delivered the most outstanding tea to our door. The cakes were moist and utterly delicious. The scones with jam and cream were perfect, and the chocolate brownies were perfection.

I ordered some cakes and afternoon tea with scones for my daughter and her partner in Cumbria, and inadvertently forgot to put their address on. So a couple of days before they were due to arrive l got a message from the carrier to say they were awaiting the oder for delivery in a couple of days. It was only at that point l realised l had forgotten to put my daughter as the recipient. I was in a panic as we live a long way from them, and l emailed Positive Bakes explaining the situation. They advised me that if l sent the correct address in the next hour, before the carrier arrived, they could change the address to my daughter's. Anyway, that's what we did, acouple of days later my daughter's parcel arrived, and she and her partner were thrilled, the cakes are absolutely delicious, and as she is both vegan and gluten-free it isn't always easy to get both together in cakes. Brilliant service and products

I ordered a classic cake box with 6 x assorted vegan and gluten free and egg free cakes.

Absolutely delicious, perfect size and although you pay more because they use natural ingredients, it's worth it as a treat.

I shall definitely be trying their other offerings soon. Thank you! Yummy!

Recently ordered the Brownie & Blondie gift box and was really impressed with quality! Quick delivery and good packaging - I highly recommend!

I’ve just been gifted the vegan scones. I’ve been dairy free for some time and I have to say I had to check the box and the ‘not clotted cream’ to check it was actually vegan because everything tasted SO GOOD!

I just wanted to pass on how great they are.
