They are good when you are parting with money.. I have a problem with my ebike I've had for 4 months. And they are impossible to contact via email or phone I have left messages and no one has contracted me. Very disappointing

my experience with power drive bikes has been wholey possitive.

Clarenz has been 100% honest and has kept me up to date always.

The bike its self is great, well made, solid, good quality, and very easy to put together.

I would definatly use PDB in the future. Well done PDB!!

I ordered a Fafrees f20 from Power Drive Bikes for my wife. The bike arrived with a damaged LCD screen and was not manoeuvrable when folded. I told Power Drive Bikes I wished to return the bike for the reasons above, to which they responded that I would need to pay a return fee of £168.

At the time, these fees were not listed on their website (I now see they have updated this!), and when questioned about what they cover, their manager responded that 'This cost covers the courier journey both ways, restocking and inspection on arrival at Fafrees and a percentage of the loss of value to the bike as it is now a second hand item through no fault of Fafrees.'

I sought advice from Citzens Advice UK who were clear that this was a contravention of the Consumer Rights Act. The bike arrived damaged, yet Power Drive Bikes were charging me not only for the return shipping (illegal) but also 'loss of value' (also illegal).

Their excuse was that I had cited other reasons for wanting to return the bike, in addition to the damaged screen. Regardless, the bike was damaged and I have rights to return the bike for a refund, but Power Drive Bikes were happy to ignore the law. Moreover, their manager later contradicted himself, claiming that the fees were for return shipping only.

I was forced to pay the fee as Power Drive Bikes gave me no other means of returning the bike. The bike was collected 2 weeks ago for return by the courier, and despite their Customer Service Agent initially telling me they were checking with Fafrees for updates, they have now stopped responding to me entirely, and I have not received my refund.

I can only conclude that Power Drive Bikes is a completely untrustworthy company, and I would warn any one thinking about buying from this company to go elsewhere. This is a company that is happy to flout the law and your rights as a consumer. If you receive a faulty or damaged bike (or even not suitable for your purposes!), good luck getting your money back, even after they extort you for so-called 'return fees'.

It has been a month since this whole ordeal started and I still do not have my money back. Stay away from this company.

I did 55 kilometers with 85% power steering. I am pleased because there were a lot of hills and inclines along the way, as is typical in Cornwall.
The bike, despite being in the lower price range, coped very well. I can't wait for more trips.

I’m a happy customer! Thanks to Clarenz, I was able to wait for about five weeks without fear or panic, eagerly anticipating my bike. Although the expected delivery time was at least four weeks, a delay in customs processing by the manufacturer added an extra week.

Fortunately, Clarenz was proactive from the start, providing me with weekly updates throughout the process—even after my bike was delivered. Their communication and service have been exceptional, and I highly recommend them!

Please do not buy from this company, they are buying bikes from China stating delivery dates that are not met. The company then lies to try to extend your wait time and when unable to meet the order just cancel it and then after much time and effort issue a refund. Go to a reputable dealer as buying from here is going to cause trouble for yourself.

I ordered a controller for my Himiway cruiser. PDB clarified I had ordered the right one before it was dispatched. (UK customer)
First class communication from start to finish and it was delivered by Fedex earlier than expected.

Reported I was having trouble with my U.S,.A, controller that it didnt work my throttle ,but worked on slow speed 6mph, contacted Clarenz,was sent a video how to reprogram my screen ,now works perfect,so well done Claranz 10/10,very helpful company

The customer service delivered by Clarencz was amazing. Very pleased indeed. I have not yet used the bike, but it looks really good, so I am sure it will be great. I bought the Tourall bike and it was very easy to put together.

We had an Eleglide bike before and really like it. Bought another model new this time and coms from supplier were brilliant. Someone got in touch regarding shipping and again when it was due to arrive and afterwards too. Bike cones very well packaged. Simple to assemble ( all tools included which was great) attach handlebars, front wheel , seat and display and you are ready to ride. Battery came charged !!:))) No adjustment needed after assembly I just went out on it. Even comes with a bell!!
First class service and a real person to email if you have questions which is always great.
The bike is very well finished and comes with 2.34 inch wide tyres which makes riding over bumps so much better.
