Within her sessions she made her first ever skirt, which she’s absolutely thrilled with!

Loved the masterclass. Precious is knowledgeable and gentle in her teaching. She helped me build my skills in repairing a pair of ripped jeans and upcyclcling an awkward-fitting top into a skirt (with pockets!). Will come back again to try to move from a confident beginner to an intermediate level.

The most amazing festive sewing…
The most amazing festive sewing session.
It was my first time sewing and Precious put me at ease and was so knowledgeable and patient. Who knew learning a new skill would be so fun. We were fuelled with mulled wine and great snacks. I cannot thank Precious enough. I will definitely be going back.

1:1 lesson highly recommended
I had a 1:1 lesson with Precious, to get to know the sewing machine that I had inherited from my late mum. She was absolutely lovely, patient, and happy to repeat when I needed! We covered everything that I wanted and I left with a good basic knowledge of how to use mum's sewing machine. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a creative hobby and found it in and with Precious Sewing Course. I feel that I learnt more that I ever expected. First getting to know my Sawing Machine which I had for some years. Understanding the various materials Patten transferee/cutting and much more.

Fantastic courses and a lovely teacher!
I have done both the tote bag making an the beginner course and I can't recommend Precious' classes enough! Not only have I learnt loads in a short amount of time I've thoroughly enjoyed them! I'm so sad that my beginner course is now over as I looked forward to them every week! Definitely booking onto the intermediate!

Precious was an absolutely amazing…
Precious was an absolutely amazing teacher! As a complete beginner, I was worried I’d struggle to keep up, but she was incredibly patient and supportive the whole way through. I was genuinely surprised by how much I learned in such a short time. By the end of the class, I was able to make my own Christmas stocking from scratch, something I never thought I’d be able to do, especially having never stitched anything before!
I truly can’t recommend her classes enough, whether you’re a total beginner or already have some experience. Precious makes the learning process enjoyable, confidence-boosting, and so much fun!

I’ve never known how to stitch before and the fact I’ve come in and learnt not only how to stitch but to do a Christmas stocking I’m amazed (still shocked haha)🎄🎅. I thoroughly enjoyed The Art of Sewing, A Taster Experience class. The instructor (Precious) was incredibly welcoming and made the instructions easy to follow. She happily answered all questions and created a fun, engaging atmosphere throughout. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for an introduction to sewing or needing a refresher. Worth every penny!

I learned so much
I learned so much on the 5 part beginners course. Before the course I was entirely self taught but Precious' methodical approach to bring the best out of each participant in a supportive and fun environment.

Great Sewing Class
I attended a taster session on Saturday afternoon to make a tote bag. I really enjoyed the class it was really well organised and Precious was very welcoming and an excellent tutor.

Beginner's sewing course
I was really nervous coming into the 5 week Beginners course, and knew absolutely nothing about sewing.
I have now completed a garment and my confidence in sewing has grown massively.
Precious is such a lovely tutor, very supportive and kind. Can't is not in her vocabulary and she really champions her students. Everything in the lead up to making the garment was great for preparation. I especially liked learning and practicing different types of stitch. I didn't realise there were so many!
Also met such a lovely group of people from different sewing backgrounds. It's been a joy and something I've looked forward to every Friday.
Thank you Precious, I can't wait to attend another class!

It’s been such a joy to watch your confidence blossom over the five weeks. I still remember how nervous you were around the sewing machine in the first class, and by week five, there you were, completely at ease and proudly finishing your first garment! What an incredible transformation.
I’m so glad you enjoyed learning the different stitches and appreciated the step-by-step approach to building up your skills. It truly means a lot to hear how much you looked forward to each Friday and how special the group experience was for you.

Went into the course with zero experience and was able to sew a top at the end of the 5th week.
Previous is a good tutor, it was a small class and i was able to learn a lot.
