Islay Malts
I had a couple of Islay whisky’s that I wanted to sell. I contacted Prestige on a weekend and Nicola replied right away.
Made the whole process very easy.
Sold all 3 bottles in auction and got paid within a week. Lovely people to deal with, would highly recommend.

Billing irregularities.
Everything went great and I paid a bill that was sent to me immediately after the close of the auction for 13 bottles. The invoice said “no charge for shipping”. I was delighted.
Three days later, I got a Dunning notice that I had not paid for three bottles that was not part of the original invoice. It said that I would be charged 4% if I didn’t pay immediately. Without looking too closely, I paid the invoice. I was just coming home from Italy and was a little jetlagged.
On review the next day, I noticed that there was a $200 shipping charge for these three bottles which of course is completely outrageous. Plus it raised questions in my mind about why if no charge for shipping 13 bottles on the original invoice- why was I now being charged $200 on a new invoice for just three bottles?
So the first question is why weren’t those three bottles on the original invoice?
Second question as well am I being charged $70 or close to $70 a bottle for shipping? When the original invoice it said that there would be no charge for shipping.
I’d like to have some answers to these questions. I’ve left two emails about this and I’ve not heard a response. Can someone get back to me about this?

We have not received any correspondence from you until an email at 1am today. I have personally responded to your email this morning at 8am - we take great pride in customer service and always respond quickly, as we have done today.
As advised in my email, you have chosen to have an order of 13 bottles held in storage instead of delivery which is why no shipping charge was applied. This is also what you have done with May auction winnings without any issue.
You then won a further 3 bottles which were still live when completing initial order and because these remained unpaid, our system will always email buyers to advise of this and the late payment charge. At checkout, you chose to have these 3 bottles shipped which is why a delivery cost is displayed and charged.

It is disappointing that you have chosen to leave a public negative review without getting in touch with us so we can explain the situation but hopefully the information in my email will help and I look forward to hearing from you.
