I would strongly caution anyone considering using Prezzee NZ. The branding is very similar to the legitimate Prezzy Card company, which can make it easy to assume they're the same service, luring people into their scam.
My experience was extremely dissapointing. I was gifted a Prezzee gift card and initially had difficulty accessing and redeeming it. When I first checked the card details, there was no expiry date shown. To make sure I didn't lose it, I checked back periodically over the following years, and each time it still appeared to have no expiry.
Then, without any notification, an expiry date had been added. By the time I discovered it, the card had expired just three days earlier, and the balance was no longer available.
Whether this was a system change or an oversight, it left me out of pocket and with a gift that couldn't be used. The lack of transparency around the expiry date and the difficulty accessing the gift card made for a very frustrating experience.
Another major downside is that you're effectively exchanging cash for a gift card that can only be redeemed with a relatively limited selection of participating brands. Unlike a prepaid card that can be used almost anywhere, you're locked into spending your money only with the limited retailers that Prezzee supports, making the gift far less flexible than it initially appears.
Do NOT buy a Prezzee NZ. If you're buying a gift card, purchase a legitimate Prezzy card or a gif card directly from the retailer.

My Experience
My daughter gifted me $100 as a birthday gift.
I could not bring up this voucher on my phone. eventually nearly 5 months later, my niece who is computer savvy, took 20 mins to find the voucher, and bring it nut on my phone. Another friend had the same experience, and only after taking her phone into Spark, [who couldn’t find the voucher] and then Noel Leeming, was she able to bring up the voucher. Consequently I have advised family and friends not to use prezzee card.

Terrible , advertises Woolworths exchange but didn’t allow it . Left with 300 dollar voucher I can’t spend for what I wanted .

Helpful service, although the solution came from the merchant
I contacted Prezzee about an Uber e-gift card purchased in the wrong currency. Sheryl advised that a refund wasn't possible and recommended contacting Uber directly. After redeeming the card, my daughter contacted Uber, and they were able to convert the balance from NZD to AUD, allowing it to be used in Australia. While a refund wasn't available, I appreciated the clear advice and the issue was ultimately resolved.

The prezzee card system is pretty easy to use, I purchased one through Afterpay. Although it would've been better with more options, I understand it was restricted due to Afterpay, still a happy customer though.
