Used their services today. Found them very professional, car came 15 minutes prior and driver was mature. Child friendly and women friendly service. Felt safe travelling with my kids. Provided full transparency for prices and when to expect what.
Horrible customer service and a complete scam company.
What happened:
I made a booking at 8am for an outstation car. The price shown was 13k when making the payment.
I went ahead and then when I didn’t receive full details, I called their team. This is when all the issues start:
The man I spoke to was not clear with communication.
He started saying it should be 12 hrs prior to booking, and then started trying to add on charges. Tolls and taxes I understand but he slyly slid in a “garage-garage” charge which is mentioned but nobody outside of the industry knows.
Let me tell you, after paying all this the final price came to 30k+ 😂
So I clearly said to cancel and refund my money because that is ridiculous.
They only refunded 12k. And took a cancellation charge.
I had to speak to them to understand and the attitude I got from their customer care team was shocking to say the least. The person literally shouted at me, spoke to me like I was a child and belittled me. He interrupted me multiple times and kept grandstanding and trying to make it my fault.
When I put a clear pickup and dropoff location and the price more than doubled is a scam, plain and simple.
Booking a ride from the airport can be a gamble, but Prorido made it easy. My driver was waiting with a clear sign and helped me with my heavy luggage immediately. Even though my flight was delayed by 30 minutes, they tracked the flight and were there when I landed. Great value for the price.
