Bad meal and terrible customer service
Most of the meals were lovely and delivery was prompt, albeit a few items had thawed in transit. There was one meal that was inedible (not due to personal taste). The black pepper chicken meal by Christine Mansfield was very bitter and the onion was raw leaving a very nasty taste. The chicken was shredded and was very dry. The color of the meal (very dark brown) looked nothing like the color of the meal on the website (yellow). When I provided this feedback to the company (Jordan) he advised that as others had enjoyed this particular meal that it must have been my personal taste in food, which I totally reject. There was something wrong with this meal, perhaps a bad batch, but they refused to refund the cost of this one meal. When I questioned them further they totally ghosted me, despite numerous messages that I sent. The rest of the meals, whilst lovely, are really no better than a good takeaway. I won’t be purchasing through Providoor again and I would recommend others to exercise caution.
