We were able to pick our puppy and contact the seller really easily.
Only improvement I would make is to the filter by postcode and distance. This did not work too well and bought up adverts from over the distance stated.

Please consider health testing the Dam and Sire in future, as this will lead to higher star ratings on puppies.co.uk.
5* rated litters will achieve 5-10X more views than a 3* rated litter.
Your litter of Cavapoo's had no health testing and so we cannot give more than 3*s.
There are a number of key tests you need to undertake as a responsible breeder, not limited to: Curly Coat Dry Eye (CCDE), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Episodic Falling (EF), PRA-PRCD, PRA-rcd4, VWD1.
Many providers of DNA testing offer Cavapoo packages such as Pet Genetics Lab, or Wisdom Panel.

i had a couple of messages none come to see puppys all customers come from preloved i paid for your ad none of the others i did ask customers if they seen ad on yours was told when asked for yorkiepoos they did not come up or my advert and because of your questionnaire about health testing ie pra tastings thought was not health tested at the vets

Your litter of Shih Tzu's had no health testing. If you need guidance in the future please visit the Kennel Club site for advice. You should have also uploaded the inbreeding coefficient.
Furthermore, you did not respond to our request when we requested a copy of your license to provide evidence to your claim as a licensed breeder.

Thanks for the review.
As I outlined in my email, it appears you broke our site policy of having to visit the puppy for sale before transferring deposits. We provide this warning in 10+ places on the website, including right next to the button to 'contact seller'. Furthermore, no payments flow through the puppies.co.uk platform at all, so we have no control over money flows, or refunds. (We are working to implement a deposit scheme however)
Puppies.co.uk aims to verify all of our breeders, and the higher the star rating the more certain we are in our assessment of quality. I would recommend only using 5* breeders in the future.
We review more than 750 litters per week, and at least 200 litters a week are rejected for not meeting our verification checks. Unfortunately 1 of these breeders with bad intentions got through by forging documents to a very high standard.
We do care greatly that you have been negatively impacted on our site, and are more than happy to support you in anyway you need going forwards. We just can't concede to your request of 'The police say you should pay me my money back' as the payment was completely removed from our platform.
I will reiterate what I said in my email: Please introduce us to the police or any other entity you are engaging with and we will assist them in their investigation.
Rest assured this seller was removed immediately.

Beware Scammers want your money!
I was interested in a Yorkshire Terrier Puppy but was away on holiday. Before parting with any money I wanted to check the puppy existed and was healthy and that I wouldn’t be buying from a puppy farm. I didn’t want to miss out on a female Yorkie either so I asked if a friend could meet the puppy and pay the deposit! I was reported as a scammer!!!!
I would not now consider buying a puppy this way as I now believe the person advertising was a scam.

We need all of our fantastic breeders to be very careful, and that is what Michelle was doing here. Our policies state you must see the puppies with their mother before purchase, and so when you said to Michelle you personally would not be there but you would send a stand-in, then this understandably made her feel unsafe and worried.
As I said to you over email, I contacted Michelle again and confirmed to her that you were genuine and she promised me she would give you a ring and apologised for the misunderstanding. So, I am sorry she hasn’t given you a ring, but I cannot force her!
Both parties were just being very careful and it has ended up in a simple misunderstanding.
As puppies.co.uk I have done everything I possibly can to help you both, by bridging that gap, and so feel very sad we were rated 1* here.

I feel this web site is used for over priced puppies and other animals, other well known web sites which give more to local users and individuals.
I could name four straight off but this review wouldn’t be published!
