Purecut is a sham!
I was charged a monthly fee that was unbeknownst to me. They wouldn’t refund it but did cancel it. I bought chopping boards and thought that was the end of the transaction. The boards aren’t the best of quality and probably would have been better off buying something off of Amazon. Steer clear of PureCut. It’s a sham.

I placed two one-time orders with Pure Cut for their titanium utensils and cutting board, and everything seemed normal. The orders confirmation clearly showed a standard purchase with no mention of a subscription, recurring charges, or membership.
However, a month later I noticed additional two transactions on my bank account that I did not authorise. I emailed their support on 19th July to challenge these charges, but they responded the following:.
We sincerely apologize for any confusion regarding the PureCut Collective trial, and truly appreciate your patience throughout this process.
We want to confirm that your subscription has been successfully canceled, and no further charges will be incurred moving forward. However, your trial benefits remain valid for 30 days from the date of purchase, meaning you can still enjoy exclusive discounts and priority customer support during this period.
Please note that once the subscription has been charged, no refunds can be issued for that payment. However, you can cancel at any time to avoid future charges.
For a better understanding of our subscription refund and cancellation policy, we encourage you to visit our website and review the full details outlined there.
We regret any frustration the previous enrollment may have caused and truly appreciate your understanding. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re always happy to help!
I want to highlight this so others are aware:
1) The original order looked like a regular one-off purchase (see your order confirmations)
2) There was no clear notice of a subscription or recurring payment
3) No reply from customer service after raising the issue
If you're considering buying from Pure Cut, check your credit card statements closely and be cautious of any hidden subscriptions. I’m now pursuing this with my credit card company.

Scam and a rip iff
The board was okay. It’s not titanium as promised. $51 for a small cutting board wasn’t a bargain plus shipping costs. Took over 3 weeks to arrive. The real scam is that they sign you up for their “collective” & charge you $45 a month for nothing. They claim it’s mentioned at the point of sale but I never saw the cost and it seemed like you were opted in automatically. I presume it happens every month. They claim it’s to get you a small percentage off future purchases that you may or may not make. That’s 88% of the cost of a cutting board for absolutely nothing! You can’t call them. They take 3 days to respond to emails. You can’t unsubscribe from the collective via your purchase account. I put a block in my card & told them to remove me from their collective but I don’t trust them. Just don’t buy from them. I wish I could rate them zero stars. Instagram hosts these scammers so beware of buying from sellers on Instagram.
Bogus membership charges to credit card
I received my cutting board and then started getting charged $29 a month - for a membership I never signed up for. There is no way to cancel on the website, no phone number, and no response to email provided. Avoid!!!!

I got scammed into their $29 monthly charge after I made a purchase. Total and utter BS. I wish I had come here to read reviews before placing an order. I contacted customer support but they refused to refund me. Such a joke. This company should be shut down. Seriously, with this many complaints for the same issue, they should be shut down. It should be illegal.
Don’t touch Purecut they take money on subscription
I am really disappointed in this company, they do not respond to my emails. It seems I am not the only customer who did not see the box to tick that would prevent me from paying £22 twice now for a subscription.
It was not very apparent, they are taking money from people who do not want a subscription. I have had NO special offers?
I don’t remember getting an email informing me of this subscription and how I could cancel it? I have requested it be stopped in many emails and my money refunded but they still don’t reply.
How do we go forward with a company that is so totally dishonest and not able to see a genuine mistake was made.
I ask again, please will you have the courtesy to reply.
Please unsubscribe me and be more transparent in your way of taking money from people who are not wanting your subscription.
Get ready for spam emails
Although I decided not to buy any of the cutting boards, as I feel that the damage they will potentially cause to my knifes is unacceptable, the spam emails are continuing after I have updated my settings and requested no further contact.
This sort of abuse should be controlled by the ombudsman. The abuse continues 3 months later, this is now a police matter.

I hate that i didnt do my research on this company! What scam artists they are! Who in their right mind agrees to pay $29/mo for nothing!!! Literally! And I NEVER received an email after the free month was up like their website says on how to cancel the subscription! Ive emailed them with no response. I have to go through my credit card company now! Buyers beware! Stay away from PureCut! Shady company to deal with!

Horrible company with terrible costumer service. DO NOT BUY from them. Cutting board is OK however, the logo on one of the cutting board was off, board looking terrible. I have tried for a month to contact them via email and phone, no reply. I have also got charged $29 for unknow reason. This is a very bad way to do business. Shame on you Purecut.

The board is ok . I’m not sure if it’s true titanium or not because the knives do scratch it but it is better than microplastics .

I got a board but like many others started being charged for a monthly subscription which was a surprise to me as there was no agreement or written confirmation about this - and doesn't even make sense to me from a cutting board purchase.
Contacted them via website form and email multiple times, they don't reply. Warning: Even if you *replace* your credit card they have signed up to the Credit Card Account Updater and will just keep charging the replacement card - so you either need to get your bank to block them, or close out the credit card account altogether.

Got a £22 charge for nothing. Can't get a response from so called customer service. Can not work out why ive been charged or how to stop it happening again. Guess i will have to speak to bank. Board itself has scratches now I've used it. If I had realised it came from China and not the USA I never would have bought it. Would NOT recommend

The thing I'm most upset about is being put on a recurring charge for $29 a month without my consent and there is no place on the website to shut it down. They do not reply to requests for assistance. Had to deactivate the credit card.
