A great adventure.
I just wanted to say what a wonderful week I had at PyB on the mountain skills course. The whole experience could not have been better.
A big thank you to our instructors, who were knowledgeable and experienced and supported us to challenge ourselves.
The facilities at the centre could not have been better. I had a comfortable room with ensuite, access to laundry and drying rooms, and the bar was a lovely place to spend an evening. The food was delicious and even the packed lunches were appetising.
A great big thank you to all at the centre, I can't wait to book my next adventure.

Great course good food, rooms clean however maintenance was required for our room as bathroom door broke on final night. Mattress was also lop sided. It was like trying to sleep facing up hill

First class coaches and accommodation, great food, best view of Snowdon you'll find anywhere, very comfortable living quarters and areas to relax in. Plus, it's central, so that walk, climb, paddle or bike ride you've planned is never that far away....the best location for all activities in North Wales.

Great set up, very professional. Course was well run with great instruction. Accommodation was clean , tidy and simple. Spot on.

First class venue with excellent tuition from experienced instructors.
Breakfast and evening meal was very good.
The choice within the 'packed' lunch could improve.
Single room (extra cost) was very clean and cozy.
The only real complaint I have is that the mattresses and the pillows are well overdue an upgrade. We are all used to the excellent comfort of places like Premier Inn. I probably will not stay on-site again until this issue has been addressed.

I had an excellent experience at Plas y Brenin. The staff could not do enough for you, the quality of teaching was excellent, our instructor included us in making plans for the weekend and was very encouraging and supportive.
All in all a great experience. Thank you.

A fantastic centre - clear and easy booking process, excellent facilities, friendly and hardworking staff, and a knowledgeable and professional course leader (Sid Sienfield) who was dedicated to our progression. Thanks all for a great two courses, I hope to return in the future. A great resource for all involved in the outdoors.

This was my first time at PYB and I was not disappointed with the centre and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
I was a little disappointed with the course in that the instructor did his best but the outdoor scenario's really lacked any kind of realism and using people on the course I felt was not a great idea as most didn't really know what symptoms they had to display so it was difficult to come up with a working diagnosis gained from their signs and symptom's or at the very least on the last day have a scenario based little exercise with some other people playing the casualties, so the guys on the course had a chance to put into practice what we had learnt over the three days..
Other than that I would recommend the course and the centre to any one for future courses

An enjoyable and informative 3 days, covering a lot of material and mixing theory with a lot of practical exercises.
The course tutor was knowledgable, engaging and struck a good balance in avoiding information overload by staging regular hands-on practice exercises.
The only room for improvement in my view was that the practical exercises, while frequently staged outdoors, were mostly done in the relatively benign environment of the grounds of PyB - lawns, courtyards etc, whereas (in the context of what the course is aiming to teach) it would have been more realistic to venture into more difficult terrain.
The facilities at PyB are excellent and very comfortable for this kind of activity, the food was excellent and plentiful, and the staff were without exception friendly, professional and accommodating.
I would certainly choose PyB for other courses.
