Greatest service of all time

First off, a shoutout to Richard. He was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable on every aspect of the repair, fixed it and shipped it out quickly, and explained in detail the repair and what caused it to fail/malfunction. The ECM was returned within a week (including shipping time) and after plugging it in and thoroughly testing, the car feels so much better. The throttle lag is far less, the transmission shifts better, and even the idle feels smoother! I don't think I'll trust anyone else for ECM repairs

Excellent service. Communication was outstanding. My ECM/TCM was repaired and works flawlessly and was plug and play. The total time from sending the unit through USPS to getting it back repaired was only 8 days. I would recommend this service to anyone.

Excellent and Quick Repair

I recently imported a 2000 Toyota Celsior (Japanese version of the LS430). I wanted to get ahead of the known ECU issues. Previously, I had ECU issues with my 1994 Celsior and 1994 MR2 Turbo. My Celsior had some intermittent low idle and the occasional weird shift, almost like a hesitation.

Richard was fantastic to work with. His communication was spot on. The directions on the webpage outlined the ECU removal process for the LS430, which was the exact same for my Celsior.

USPS took longer than expected to send the package. But the day that it was received, he got to work on the repair. Richard noted that my ECU was already starting to show signs of trouble and needed repairing. It was promptly sent back the next day.

After installing the ECU and doing the idle relearn, I could tell immediately that the vehicle ran and shifted much better than before. I only put about 200km on my car after I took delivery. So even with very little time behind the wheel, I knew I made the right move by having the ECU refurbished as preventative maintenance.

I definitely recommend Richard at Technical Domain for ECU repair and refurbishment. As the UCF30/31 LS430 and Celsior age, more ECUs will continue to have issues and fail. I suggest getting ahead of the problem and sending your ECU in now as a maintenance item. The issues are not an "if" but a "when."

Running like new again

Working with Richard at Technical Domain was a delightful experience. He was prompt in his communication and answered all my questions before, during and afterwards. He acknowledged receipt of the part, repaired it, and shipped it back the next day. Super fast service! The part was fixed and shipped adequately to arrive in great condition. The car shifts beautifully now. It did idle rough at first during the relearn process as expected (Richard warned us of this). It is running normal now. Grateful for this solution and great service!

open, honest and timely communication

Great communication, timely work. Thought the car was going to need a new transmission. Found out EDU failure was a common malady. Repaired and replaced, and all good now.

Excellent Service

Richard knows what he is doing. My LS430 started jerking downshifting into first gear and the dealer and local stores wanted an arm and leg citing faulty transmission. I came across Technicaldomain.com in a reditt group and tried to take a chance with a ECU fix . Richard promptly returned my call and discussed what he would do to fix the issue . He is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what he had to do to fix the issue. The detailed explanation he sent about extracting the ecu from the engine bay is very useful. The shipping to Puerto Rico is essentially the time that needs to be considered . Richard did the repair work the same day he received the package and even checked the software calibration was the latest provided by lexus. He proactively went ahead and replaced a capacitor that was ok on my ECU but as per experience tends to fail with time .Upon installation the car shifts butter smooth. The entire experience , communication and status provided was a very smooth process. I am extremely satisfied with my decision to use services provided would strongly recommend Richard to anyone who needs fixing of their ECU . Thank You Richard ... Sumit Misra (Charlotte, NC)

My experience with TD was the best

My experience with TD was great. Richard was super easy to work with and very accommodating. There were a couple of issues along the way, but Richard was very helpful and friendly, even though some weren't his fault. He helped to get through it in a very professional and friendly manner that made the whole experience a good one. I am very thankful for all he did. He went above and beyond what he had to, but that made all the difference. Yes, I would definitely buy from here again.

Fast Turnaround!

I’ve been waiting a few weeks to write this review. I wanted to be sure that my ECU repair was done correctly before leaving an honest review. Richard surpassed all of my expectations, I will now send all of my ECU repair needs to nobody else but TechnicalDomain. The pricing is extremely affordable and the one day turnaround time was what sold me. It’s been about 500 miles since Richard repaired my 06 LS430 ECU and the car is driving flawlessly. Communication was a breeze and Richard kept me in the loop the entire process. Don’t hesitate to send Richard all of your ECU repair needs!!

GS300 ECM

I am very pleased with the fast and knowledgeable service I received from Richard and his team. My 2006 GS300 abruptly began experiencing harsh downshifting in low gear and after some digging into the issue online I found Richards’s ECM service. My part was repaired and returned to me even faster than I expected and I was able to plug it in and get right back on the road.

Definitely worth sending from UK for repair

I am in Wales, in the UK. I have had a garage business for over 45 years. As you can imagine I have dealt with a vast amount of new and repaired parts. When my wife's 2004 Rav 4 had gear box problems, harsh shifting and clunking in reverse I would have thought it was uneconomical to be repaired. But my wife has had the car from brand new and loves it. And also, Tommy the dog loves it. There was no one in the UK who could help us. Then we found out about Richard Rodriguez, Rav4Repair.com,
TechnicalDomain.net. His service has been very impressive. Quick and efficient. Communicating at every step. And most importantly my wife is back driving the RAV perfectly with a massive smile. We are very grateful to Richard for all the help he has given us.
