David’s service was extremely thorough and highlighted the key snags in my new home. We can’t thank David enough for his prompt report which has enabled us to carry out the snags prior to when we moved in. Highly recommend.

David arrived when he said he would, despite quite a long drive, and worked intensively for almost 4 hours on the inspection. He issued his report later that day. The report is comprehensive with photographs showing the issues. It lists 155 points most of which I had not identified and probably as a first time buyer of a new house would not have thought to check or raise. Despite being initially dismissive of professional snagging companies, the site team have worked through the issues and given the report to subcontractors. It is a useful checklist of the work which needs to be completed

We contacted David Patterson via Facebook Messenger after seeing various reviews about QHC. I found him to be full of useful advice about when to engage with him at what stage of our progression through buying our new build. It was important to plan David’s visit for as soon as possible after competing, the aim was for within seven days of getting the keys so you can get his detailed and evidenced report to the developer and also to keep the developer informed to be prepared to accept the report very soon after moving in, so it is clear the issues are realised early and witnessed by the buyer and seller. David was always forthcoming with information and we found him to be quick to respond to emails, Facebook Messenger messages and phone calls. David’s emailed report from his visit was professional, clear to understand and easy to use. We found getting it printed out on A4 in colour was useful and three months in we still have it on hand to refer to when we have workers in as we cross off completed tasks as we go with the process of snagging. David’s time and skills were invaluable to us as a new build buyer and we highly recommend his service. Thank you David.

David is absolutely fantastic, from start to finish he responded quickly to my first enquiry, and then he attended our property at the time he said, he spent about 3 hours going through the property and provided us with a very thorough detailed report that same evening. David is very knowledgeable and friendly. Some of the snags he found I would have never even noticed. David also moved the days around as our completion date changed. The new home inspection report done by QHC is very comprehensive and detailed. It found out more than 150 issues regarding to the builder's work needed to follow up and fix. Thank you very much to David's effort. We definitely need for inspection result done by QHC as the important tool to ask the developer to fix the defects.

David from Quality Home Check provided a prompt,full and detailed report quickly,the need for which became evident when compared to my snagging list.His experience of the industry shone a light into areas of compliance and shoddy workmanship I found concerning.
But his assurance that the build was overall good and with the snagging team from the builders following his recommendations I feel his fee was money well spent. Recommend

Great service from David at QHC. Good communication beforehand, with some flexibility on dates due to uncertainty of completion date. Arrived promptly at 8am to start his inspection and produced the report later the same day. Housebuilder hasn't disagreed with any snags so far and David is been readily available for any further questions we have had for him.
