It was my first ever car service with the RAC and it was nice that the mechanic came to mine and I didnt have to bother going in to the garrage. The service was great and I would highly recommend.

Took a good couple of hours doing a full service. Brought to our attention advisories, which were recommended to do. Everything covered.
Friendly and efficient.

Mechanic was great and made the service from home easy. However a rough guide, ie am or pm would be useful to save having to stay at home all morning for a 2.30pm appointment

The breakdown inspection was extremely thorough and the tests carried out confirmed what the mechanic suspected, as this was not something that could be repaired, he offered a quotation from their mobile repair service, which he did, and the quote came back extremely competitive and the part could be fitted the same day from the place we had broken down.
All in all as far as a breakdown, diagnosis and repair it was carried out with such efficiency I could barely believe it. I think from break down to getting 3 of us back into work we lost aproximately 2 hours.

It was convenient, they kept me updated as to arrival time, and they were quick and friendly. The fact they come to you just saves a whole load of hassle and was able to book it in as quickly as 2 days unlike several weeks at some garages.
