Our History Travel is in our blood and the passion for holidays and exploring the world is as strong as it was back in 1936…The Broad family has been synonymous with travel since the late 1930’s when Alan’s father Ray Broad sold coach tickets in the back of his Father’s Ironmongers shop on Birmingham Road, Erdington. The company grew over the years to include Broads Travel Service, Tudor Travel and Concord Holidays. Following Ray’s retirement in the 1970’s, Alan’s eldest brother Robert opened Robert Broad Travel in 1982 in Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield. In 1985 Alan opened a Lichfield office on Boley Park where we are still located today. Robert sold off the Sutton Coldfield office when he retired in the 1990’s and Alan continued the family business with his son Oliver. Today, along with Nathan Collins our group of specialist travel brands falls under the name RB Collection. We are very very proud of our heritage and are now looking to the future with an award-winning team of travel experts who are passionate about creating unique, lifelong memories through specialist and luxury holidays around the world.

We always use RB
We have booked with RB for many years. We have booked a variety of holidays from cruises to touring holidays. They have always provided excellent service with real attention to the details. They take time to get to know their customers and with us have, on occasions, suggested changes to the holiday that have proved to be better than we were considering. A hotel in LA comes to mind. We are Regent cruise line fans but on RBs recommendation on this occasion we tried the Explora cruise line and had a fabulous holiday.

RBC could easily stand for Really Brilliant Collective. Their expertise is second to none and the whole team have managed to get the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness; been with them since we move into Lichfield and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else for our travel needs .

We have been using RB Collection for a number of years now. Oliver, Kayleigh and the team have this special ability to answer our questions before they are asked, present such special trips that always seem to surpass the last and never bring us problems just solutions when airlines or hotels play silly beggars. ‘As usual, Sam at RB Collection arranged our recent Iceland/Scotland cruise with attention to every possible detail. He remembered what had worked for us previously and used that knowledge to enhance our experience. No question was too much trouble for either Sam or his colleague Clare. We would not consider anyone else for our holiday arrangements; RB Collection are truly superb!’
