Just been on a First Aid course in Blackpool, our trainer was Karl, what can I say, Karl was really good, explained everything in a way we could all understand. He made it enjoyable, encouraged us all to participate, and put us all at ease, best First Aid course i’ve ever done.

Thankyou majd you was amazing and made the process of hiring my mum a wheelchair so easy id give you 10 stars if I could 🙏🤝⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

DOOR TO DOOR SCAMMERS ? ? "No Cold Calling Area" clearly signed on lamp posts in our Cheltenham area. Suspect canvassers unprofessional with "Hi Yah" approach and no offer of I.D. and when told it's a no cold calling area the two young women continued door knocking regardless as scammers do. Yes, they had tabards but so do the various scammers who frequent the area. The Police were too slow off the mark to confront them and the British Red Cross H.O. absolutely hopeless when we tried to ascertain authenticity.

I was a volunteer with the Red Cross Newcastle and trained as a first aider, then an enhanced first aider, on the ambulance pathway. Turns out though that a module critical to both the enhanced and ambulance routes, medical module, was only half-taught due to expediency so didn't count for the ambulance pathway and wrecked that - but did count, weirdly, for the enhanced first aider role for which I was sent out at a premium I guess for the BRC (not that I was paid). When I complained one manager mocked me for lacking observation skills (when surely being in charge of all this he'd know better than to send out unqualified first aiders in breach of contract and insurance) and the training manager told me to join St. John's. Really nasty little enterprise.
This wasn't in 2023 BTW, it was before, but it stems from an embedded cultural problem that without doubt extends across the entire organisation. Volunteers are 10 a penny, expendable, there to be used, shouted at, and blamed.

Had Lavinia for my first aid at work, what a great 3 days I had! Course info was delivered in such a helpful way, lots of information but broken down perfectly. Would highly recommend

I went into Red Cross charity shop in Diss Norfolk today and was told no dogs allowed across the shop by a young lady from behind the till I explained she is an assistance dog and has been in before and because she’s a working dog it’s allowed she then calls the manager I’m now the centre of attention because this hasn’t been done quietly but across the shop the manageress does know the dog and did say so but I’m disgusted that this issue still is not addressed with new staff volunteer or not I have more problems in charity shops than anywhere else shortly after going into Aldi supermarket who seem to have more sense at curtesy please advise your staff of the legal requirements the dog is correctly badged and a lead slip and fully certified i will be making an official complaint through there head office

Attended 1 day course first aid in work place today in Portsmouth . Rebecca H was an excellent trainer, she was engaging, professional & obviously very passionate and knowledgeable in her teaching of the subject! Hope my next refresher course is delivered by Rebecca H .

I completed my 2 Day First Aid at Work requalification today. Rebecca Hutcheson delivered my training. Rebecca is by far the best instructor I've had in my 22 years as a First Aider. All of the information was presented in a clear and concise way, which definitely helps to absorb it all, her knowledge is second to none. I hope Rebecca does my next requalification.

Tamira and Amy were brilliant at our Emergency first aid in the work place course. Thank you for your knowledge and engaging us all, especially on a Friday! Great team !!

Our course instructor Rebecca H was fantastic. The course was enjoyable and the content was delivered clearly and in such a way that I found it easy to retain the many topics we covered. We had a nice small group which I think was also a real plus.

I booked for a Paediatric First Aid course and was told that I would had a certificate by the trainer. I asked a confirmation by the end of the class and she reconfirmed that my certificate was on the way in a week time.
I contacted Red Cross and told me they had a technical error and my certificate would be sent in the same day via email. I was misleaded by their staff. I did a course that it does not renewed my previous certificate. So wasted both money and time. Thank you British Red Cross!! Never ever again!! Stefania

I attended the above course. My trainer was a lovely lady called Heather aylett . She delivered the course content professionally and with current knowledge. She treated me as an individual. In addition to this she also displayed humour, kindness and happiness throughout the 3 days, even though she was ill she tried her best to deliver the best training and I’ve learnt a lot from these 3 days.
Thank you Heather and hopefully in 3 years you can take me for my refresher.

It was the best course I can honestly say iv ever been on
It was very interactive and heather our first aid tutor was brilliant
I would recommend this course you won't be disappointed
