Not great tower radiators

Bought two tower radiators.

Not great, doesn't heat up and it lacked any real signs about which side is the right side to put the radiators on, as I understand if you install them.upside down it can have an issue with the flow.

Anyway, not a great experience, not sure really what to do.

Stuck with two expensive radiators in a new extension which isn't giving out heat...hmmm.

I have purchased Reina radiators for my house

I have purchased Reina radiators for work for many years and they have always been good. However I have a faulty radiator in my own home where the seals of the radiator have failed. I tried to get a replacement sent out as it was within warranty. This unfortunately never happened between Reina and supplier. And I’ve been left with a radiator that doesn’t work and after speaking with Reina directly they said there was nothing they could do. Will definitely think twice before purchasing in the future. If this was for a client rather than myself I would be hundreds of pounds out of pocket.

Stand off with Reina

Ordered a Reina towel rad and a Reina Mini thermostatic heating element from Heat and Plumb. Both installed by qualified and highly experience by tradesmen. The Mini thermostatic control worked fine then I turned it off. And now it won't start again ... totally dead. Sent a video to H&P to prove. Now I'm stuck in the middle. Reina say they need to know how the guys fitted it to make sure it was commissioned properly - because if it wasn't the element will be destroyed!!! Heat and Plumb doing nothing ... just sending messages. I'm trying but I can't talk to the fitters directly as done via a loft conversion co. Reina won't send a copy of the installation instructions for me to check what was or wasn't done, saying it would have been in the box .. so they're creating a stand off. Very hacked off!!!
I'll probably need to bin the Mini and get something from a decent company.

Really poor quality

I ordered a Reina heated radiator/towel rail believing I was ordering a premium brand with the expected high quality that would be associated with a premium brand. However the product is anything but high quality, yet the price was twice what I paid for another similar radiator which is much better quality. The fixings for this radiator are the most poorly finished I have come across, every one of them is tarnished and the chrome finish is unlike any other I have come across, it appears to have a slightly golden hue to it, nothing like a traditional polished chrome and the difference is very visible where it connects to the pipework and valves The bleed valve on the back of the radiator stands out like a sore thumb as it is brass finished and the bit where it attaches to the radiator has no finish on it at all, it is just base metal. I have written to both the retailer and direct to Reina, attaching photos, but have had no response from either. The least I would have expected is an offer of a decent replacement or a significant refund. Having read other reviews it's clear Reina don't like to communicate with their customers.

Excellent Products and Fantastic Service

I have 5 Reina Casina radiators in my house. They are all excellent quality. However, there has been a recent design change and I have tried to correspond directly with Reina about this. Both via the website and e-mail. I have received no response. I am writing this review in the hope that Reina will get back to me.

Sadly we are now on our third Reina…

Sadly we are now on our third Reina Vertical radiator, the previous two having developed bubbles and leaking after a short period of time.We are awaiting fitting of the third but are not confident of it's durability?
Sadly cannot recommend these radiators.

Reina electric Wi-Fi Heater: Poorly made, App is atrocious.

Ordered this to pre-heat our conservatory before opening up in the morning. I guess you get what you pay for!!! Serre Wi-Fi electric radiator, £140. It’s like something out of the 1970s! Poorly made, just a wire heater element with a thin bit of tin around it & a basic touch control panel bolted on. The app is as basic and clunky as hell. For Programmed heating you have Comfort/On, Eco/Off & Enum 3/Anti-Freeze?? The thing has a mind of its own and switches on whenever it feels like it. Wished we’d sent it back immediately. Probably give it away eventually. Really shoddy piece of kit.

Misleading BTU information

Bought a Reina Misa stainless steel towel radiator for my new bathroom which looks beautiful and is guaranteed for 25 years but …….. the radiator is not sufficient BTUs to heat my small 7ft square bathroom . This is down to the Delta 70 rating used by the manufacturer and seeing as most UK domestic boilers from 2005 are Delta 50 ,you need to convert the BTU number to Delta 50 to get the true value of the BTU ,to see if the radiator is powerful enough . I was unaware of this and on scouring the internet for top quality similar manufacturers I found them all to be using a Delta rating of 50 ! I don’t think the importance of this is made very clear by retailers or this manufacturer and a costly mistake could be avoided if it was . Once you have fitted the radiator and drilled your new expensive tiles it is very difficult to find something else with a higher BTU ,that will cover the drill holes . So it’s an expensive , beautiful but cold bathroom for us ☹️ I’d also be interested in knowing why Reina use Delta 70 which applied to UK boilers prior to 2005 and in 2005 this was changed to Delta 50 to conform with the EU countries ? Very confusing for customers.

Absolute cowboys

Absolute cowboys. Been waiting for 3 months for my order and now stock turns up they don't have enough so they don't service my order and have decided to discontinue the product. So now I am stuck with pipes sticking out of the walls specifically for this radiator size and no radiator or solution.

Don't use, absolutely terrible customer service.

Avoid ordering Reina Radiators - they arrive damaged every time

I am reluctantly giving 1 star.....there should be an option for ZERO STARS.
I am regretting ever ordering radiators from Reina. So far 8 radiators delivered have damage.
I ordered 5 on 31st July.
Only 4 were in stock, so we agreed to a delay for the 5th one to be delivered after 24th August when that particular size will be in stock.
Regarding the 4 that were in stock, these were delivered to us on 2nd August.
All 4 of these arrived damaged.
We sent photos of the damage and asked that replacements were sent out urgently.
Our photographs were disputed saying that 2 of the photos were of the same radiator which was not the case.
We were also told that replacements would only be sent to us once the damaged ones were collected!!! This is disgraceful, replacements should have been sent immediately being as we have paid for them.
We reluctantly agreed to this.
The damaged radiators were collected on 12th August and 4 replacements ordered and delivered on 14th August.
Guess what......2 of those were damaged so we had to go through the whole painful process for the 2nd time.
This time I refused to wait until the damaged ones were collected before replacements were sent.
Replacements arrived on 16th August....DAMAGED AGAIN so had to go through the painful process for a 3rd time.
2 replacements arrived on Monday 19th August....DAMAGED AGAIN!!!! So we are now going through the painful process for the 4th time.
Replacements have been ordered and are due to be delivered on 21st or 22nd August.
If they are not damaged it will be an absolute miracle.
I'm preparing myself for the same nightmare for the radiator that is on backorder.....

Our home improvements project is now nearly 3 weeks behind because the plumber has been unable to install the radiators, meaning that all the other tradesmen booked to follow on from the plumber have been unable to complete their works.
Its costing us an absolute fortune in delays and to be frank has been very stressful indeed.
If you like quality products, and good customer service, then I suggest you avoid ordering Reina products from any of the online Radiator sellers.
We haven't even had an apology or contact from Reina.
