Very good experience with Remotify. I’ve used it twice and the support team has always been responsive, available, and efficient. It’s a very useful solution for freelancers and companies working with clients in different countries.

My experience with Remotify involved a delayed payout and some confusion caused by earlier payment notifications. This understandably created concern, especially when waiting for an important payment.

However, I appreciate that their support team (especially Mico) remained responsive, polite, and continued providing updates until the matter was resolved. The payment was ultimately processed and received successfully, which was the most important outcome.

I also value that they stayed engaged throughout the process rather than ignoring follow-up messages. Good communication during delays matters, and in that regard they were helpful.

A useful area for improvement would be clearer and more precise payment status updates from the beginning, as this would reduce unnecessary stress and uncertainty for users awaiting funds.

Overall, while the process had some issues, the matter was resolved professionally and I appreciate the support provided.

⚠️ UPDATE (Jan 19, 2026): SHOCKING RETALIATION & THREATS After posting this review, the situation escalated. I received a direct threat from their employee (Selin Y.) stating: "We will report you and your customers to sanctions list, fyi". They threatened to report me and my innocent clients to international financial sanctions lists (AML/CTF) purely as revenge.

The "Reply All" Evidence: Due to a technical error, they accidentally copied me on their internal discussion. Their Founder & Compliance Officer (Hasan Can S.) wrote internally: "No need Selin... that's okay for compliance". This confirms they knew there was no legal reason to report me, yet they tried to intimidate me with false reports anyway.

Owner's Response: When confronted with this proof, Hasan simply replied: "Okay you can report, have a nice day".

CURRENT STATUS: Challenge accepted. I have secured all evidence, including the screenshots of internal emails, unlawful data processing, and threats. I am currently organizing the documentation to file formal complaints with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (AKI) regarding GDPR violations and the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) regarding malicious financial intimidation. The relevant authorities will now handle what this company tried to hide.

I strongly advise professional freelancers to avoid this platform. My experience with Remotify was a disaster that damaged my relationship with a key client.

GDPR Violations & Spamming Clients: The biggest issue is that they use "Growth Hacking" tactics that violate trust. I provided my client's email address solely for invoice delivery. Remotify then used this email to send unsolicited marketing spam to my client without consent. They admitted to this error and apologized via email, but only after I confronted them with proof. This is unprofessional and illegal under GDPR.

Unreliable KYC & Refund Nightmare: Their KYC provider (Veriff) is unreliable (check their low ratings). A simple transaction was flagged/cancelled, forcing me to ask my client for their private banking details (IBAN/SWIFT) to process a manual refund. This made me look like an amateur in front of my business partner.

Support ignores you until you threaten legal action: When I complained about the spam, they ignored the severity of the issue. They only agreed to permanently delete my clients' data from their marketing database after I sent a formal pre-litigation notice threatening to report them to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (AKI).

If you care about your professional image and your clients' privacy, stay away. There are safer alternatives.

I have a marketing company, and sometimes I require Remotify to process customers that are based in other countries due to easier management in getting them invoiced from me, rather than my accountant.

I love their service, and the assistance team is very steadfast in helping you if your customer did some mistake (like for me, them forgetting to add the RTFCode). Remotify checked it immediately, and found the payment without the RTFCode and everything was good.

Can't recommend enough.

I have used this platform, it gives a lot good experience than a lot of payment providers. I was struggling to get an invoice from abroad, and it didn't deduct a single penny on my first transaction.
