They offer fantastic discounts on their site, even for first responders! I managed to snag 12,000 XP at a great discounted price. The only thing missing was one of the smaller hinges , but they quickly reimbursed me for it .

I purchased an EG4 18kPV inverter from Renewable Outdoors for $5,200. The unit arrived defective.

Their website clearly advertises a 30-day return policy and specifically states that for defective items they will help process an exchange and cover return shipping.

I am still well within that 30-day window. Despite requesting a replacement multiple times, they completely ignored my emails and repeatedly tried to force me into EG4’s lengthy warranty/RMA process instead.

They refused to honor their own 30-day exchange policy.

Extremely disappointed in their dishonesty and customer service.

I would not recommend buying from Renewable Outdoors.

I wanted to place an order for a Sol-Ark 12P. They have good prices but Josh wanted me to submit several ID's and get a paper bill for address confirmation. Hey Josh they don't send out paper bills anymore! I wasted 10 minutes calling to get a PDF bill. Then he asked for more ID and a call with their CC processor. Total hassle and waste of time! I found a better option.

Ordered a EG4 6000 inverter from them. Order was fulfilled in a reasonable amount of time. Unpacked and couldn't find the wifi dongle. Nobody answers the phone so I emailed and inquired where it was usually packed in the box. Was told its inside the box somewhere. Replied that i couldn't find it and would look again. Emailed back that still couldn't find it and was told the newer models don't include it anymore. I called EG4 the manufacturer and inquired and was told absolutely included with all inverters. They lied about it and gave some lame excuse for the "miscommunication" I can't recommend a company that doesn't know their products and lies to the customer.

Total scam of a site, ordered item listed as in stock and ready to ship 10 days ago, no update and no response to multiple emails or phone calls.

This website is nothing more than a boy in his underwear, living with his mom in a trailer, waiting for you to place an order. There is no inventory. After you place an order, he will attempt to source the item at a much lower price. If he can't, your order will be cancelled, BUT NOT REFUNDED. Then you need to go through your financial institution and report it. Which can take 90 days to complete the investigation. Also, file a report with the FTC and leave bad reviews on Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, and anywhere else.
