I rented a car at the airport and had a great experience. Everything went smoothly, and I really liked the service. Highly recommended!

Je tiens à laisser un avis très positif sur l'agence Rental Car Tenerife à l'aéroport. Nos vacances ont été merveilleuses, et c'est en grande partie grâce à la qualité du service de location.

Ce que nous avons particulièrement apprécié :

✅La rapidité : C’était notre priorité. La prise en charge à l’arrivée a été ultra rapide, tout comme la restitution avant le vol. Pas d'attente, pas de bureaucratie inutile.

✅Le véhicule : Nous avons eu un Volkswagen Tiggo flambant neuf. Voiture dans un état irréprochable, très propre et moderne.

✅Fiabilité : Nous avons parcouru presque toute l’île ! La voiture a été parfaite, que ce soit sur les autoroutes ou sur les routes sinueuses menant au volcan Teide. Puissante et très confortable.

Grâce à ce véhicule, notre séjour a été riche en découvertes. Si vous prévoyez de louer une voiture à Tenerife, je recommande vivement cette agence à l'aéroport, vous ne le regretterez pas !👍

Thieves! This bandits steal your deposit. At the airport the creditcard is not working, so you pay via iDeal or cash. DON'T!! They are not worth your trust!!

Terrible experience – deposit never returned!

Avoid this company at all costs! I rented a car from Rental Car Tenerife and left a €600 deposit as required. After returning the car in perfect condition, they never refunded my deposit. It’s been weeks, and they completely ignore all my messages and emails.

This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. Their customer service is non-existent, and they clearly don’t care once they have your money. If you don’t want to be cheated — stay away from Rental Car Tenerife.

I will be reporting this incident to consumer protection authorities and sharing my experience on every travel and review platform I can find.

These companies are a scam. You WILL NOT get your deposit back!!!!! We booked online with clear pricing, but when the vehicle was delivered, they demanded hundreds more in hidden fees. The car was also lower grade than what we reserved. They refused to answer calls and stopped responding entirely. Afterward, we found multiple reviews describing the exact same experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This company (run by russians) does not have it's own fleet. They re-rent cars from partners, even the rental agreement is signed with partner company.
You get your car and everything goes ok, until you want your deposit back. They do NOT return it. Of course, all emails and phone calls are not answered.
Fortunately, I've paid the depo by card, so I was able to initiate Visa dispute with them to get a refund.

Would not recommend this company. Here are the highlights from my experience with this car rental company :

- Booked a gorgeous yellow mustang online
- price was €260 + €300 refundable deposit and with free delivery/ pick up at my hotel
- I was then charged extra €40 for this service
- car arrived and it was not as pictured , it was white
- deposit was increased on the spot to €600
- they took deposit on my card but then would not accept payment on the same card and wanted €250 cash payment for the car
- they did a basic walk around of the car and noted damage , I did a 2nd walk around and pointed out damages and dents they did not mark down on the page that were noticeable
- got into the car and the tire pressure sensors were on the dash as well as a check engine light and a bunch of other lights not putting me at ease at all
- the gearbox was ruined and probably never serviced in its life , the car chugged , clunked and made awful noises. The exhaust was hanging off its brackets and rattled like crazy and the brakes were extremely squeaky when slowing down at all which wasn’t nice when cruising around busy areas.
- the car was not clean and smelled gross and sweaty.
- the car was not enjoyable at all and I ended up returning it to my hotel early that day and walking the rest of the evening.
- when they arrived for pick up they did not check or inspect anything on the car , took the keys , left the car at my hotel and drove away in their other car. They came back 3hrs later and drove the rental car away.
- I was told I would receive my €600 deposit back in 1 week
- 3 weeks later after contacting 3 different email addresses, and 3 different phone numbers I still had not received a response about my refund
- I got fed up and opened a scam enquiry on the transaction with Revolut , within 1hr of doing this they contacted me saying my refund was issues back to me , it was not
- Revolut followed up on this for me and after a couple of days I received my deposit back in full, I was lucky compared to others here.
- Do not recommend just for the flashy car there are way better companies on the island. Lesson learnt.

They never paid back my 600 € deposit. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. There are lots of honest and respectable choices to choose from.

Same problem as the others. We have not received the deposit back although everything was fine. Do not rent from this company! They use different payment terminal when they charge the deposit.

They won’t give back deposite

Still wait for my deposit of 300 euro. I rented a car in february in tenerife.
They are cheaters!

We (in my husband’s name) rented a convertible from them in the beginning of February 2024. The car was fine and arrived as planned, but here almost two months later we are still waiting for the return of our 600 euro deposit (the car was returned without any scratches etc). We have written them numerous emails but all go unanswered. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend.

I was happy with this company and cars. All was very fast, didn’t wait on the line, was in contact With manager in private chat all time , had exactly information where we will meet and how return car. Good car and very nice staff

BEWARE! SCAMMERS ALERT. AVOID AT ALL COST!

The worst experience EVER from a car rental service. First, they did not honor the price I found on the website. Also, I could not get the car I initially asked for. When I asked for the refund, they first lied that the money was not received then when I showed the proof from my bank and promised to share my experience, they had the audacity to intimidate me that they will contact their lawyer and SUE ME if I post anything online!

If you need peace of mind, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! There are plenty of respectful companies out there in the island.
