I was wanting to go on a working holiday with rep route in july i paid £499 + the £39 cancellation fee. I asked for a refund on the 26th of april i sent them so many emails asking the same thing as they just kept ignoring me, they had never stated that after the first they weren’t going to offer me a refund and they were taking ages to email me back making sure they didn’t have to refund me. Everyone in the company is clueless they took two payments out my account in november and refused to pay back the money as it was actually supposed to come out in April. Whenever i tried to message the manager jordan he’d ignore me and whenever i asked Luke for anything he was clueless. All rep route cares about is your money. They also made it out to be that events were included in the price but that’s an extra £150. Whatever u do don’t go with rep route as they are extremely untrustworthy

Thank you for your review.

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way, however we feel it’s important to clarify the situation with reference to our previous correspondence.

Your review relates to your decision to cancel your booking just days before your balance due date (1st April 2026). As outlined in our Terms & Conditions — and shared with you as early as 4th December 2025 — cancellation charges are applied based on notice given relative to this date.

As stated in our email to you on 4th December:

“Please note that when referring to notification this is in relation to your booking balance due date.”

And:

“46–1 days: 100% of the total cost”

Despite initially enquiring about cancellation in December, your booking remained active and you continued making payments over the following months.

When you contacted us again on 27th March, we responded clearly on 30th March, advising:

“Cancellation charges are applied based on the timeframe relative to your balance due date…”

At this stage, your cancellation fell within the 100% charge window, which had already been clearly communicated to you months prior.

Your booking remained active until you completed the cancellation process, as confirmed on 2nd April:

“As of now, this link has not been used, and therefore your booking remains active.”

You then proceeded to complete the cancellation, at which point the agreed terms were applied.

Regarding your comments about payments in November, this was explained to you at the time — a manual payment and automated instalment were both processed, and the additional amount was allocated toward your future balance, not taken incorrectly.

We also want to clarify that your package did not include Events Week, which is an optional add-on. If you believe otherwise, we are more than happy to review any evidence.

Finally, we feel it is important to address your statement that Rep Route is “untrustworthy.” This is an unfounded and unsupported claim. Rep Route has been operating for over 8 years, supporting thousands of customers in working holiday experiences abroad. We are also proud recipients of the “Working Holiday Company of the Year 2025” award, reflecting our commitment to delivering a high-quality and trusted service.

We understand that cancellations can be frustrating, however we have consistently provided clear, accurate information and applied our Terms & Conditions fairly and transparently throughout.

I travelled around Thailand

I travelled around Thailand this February with rep route doing lots of activities, we went to the elephant sanctuary where we spent a good few hours learning about them and getting to feed them! We went snorkelling in the beautiful blue waters, visited the tiger cave temple, pig island, we done boat trips around phi phi islands, we went to some lovely restaurants and beach clubs and also done a few nights of bar crawls! we rented scooters which I was abit apprehensive about at first but I’m so glad we did as we got to squeeze in so much more sight seeing in our last few days! We managed to do a lot in the 3 weeks we travelled together and I’ve made memories I’ll hold onto forever.

I've been going out with Rep Route for 5+ Years

I went out with Rep-Route for the first time back in 2021 and have stuck with them ever since! Their reps look after your every need and work hard to make sure you have an unforgettable time. I would like to give a special mention to Jordan and Ash. They looked after me and gave me plenty of work in my first season, helping me make connections that have led to me continuing to work in Zante for 5 Seasons as a DJ in one of the biggest clubs in Laganas.

In summery, Rep Route is a great working Holiday's company and you will not regret booking with them!

I travelled to Thailand with Rep Route

I travelled to Thailand with Rep Route, I worked and travelled with the group and reps for just under a month working as a digital nomad. We went to Phuket, phi phi, krabi, koh samui and koh phangan. From zip lining, kayaking, snorkelling, barracuda, yona and big budha we done it all. I felt safe all the time with the group and felt travelling had never been so stress free with Jordan looking after us. I aspire to be a dj and was given the opportunity to play at a club in Phuket along with another rep route dj Callum thanks to Ash who has strong ties to rep route and is also a DJ. Jordan our manager was great the whole trip very funny and professional. I’m excited to continue my dj journey with rep route in Zante this summer thanks to the guys and Jordan for supporting me!

Thailand Adventure

I travelled to Thailand this February with Rep Route and what an experience it was! From meeting some absolutely fantastic people to trying experiences you can’t find anywhere else, Thailand was made even more special with Rep Route. Phi Phi Island was my personal favourite destination where we did an excursion to lots of the local smaller islands! Overall definitely a fantastic company to use as a foundation to start travelling!

From the moment i arrived in Thailand…

From the moment i arrived in Thailand the reps welcomed me with nothing but positive vibes and good energy, we did some amazing activities such as an elephant sanctuary, kayaking and a great event such as the Barracuda beach club pool party. I made friends that are like family to me now, not only did i make amazing memories travelling Thailand but i also landed a job with Rep Route so i can continue travelling across the world. Anyone considering booking with Rep Route don’t think, just do. You won’t regret!

Thailand 2026

I went with rep route to trial Thailand as a destination this January. Wow ! What an experience. From laughter to meeting people who I now consider family, the trip was one of the best decisions I ever made. If you’re feeling worried about solo travelling, I can re-assure you that you will meet some of the friendliest people and feel very welcome. A special thank you to Jordan Walker (resort manager) for making the experience so fun and catering to all of our needs. Your patience is truly appreciated!

In Thailand, we had some of the most unreal experiences from kayaking in the mangroves ( where Jurassic Park was filmed btw!) to visiting different islands and seeing the ethical elephant sanctuary and some amazing beaches. Could not recommend travelling with Rep Route enough. I have made so many good memories with my travel family. I look forward to meeting everyone back in zante this summer !!

SCAMMERS, GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK

If I could give this zero stars, I would do not go with this company complete scammers. I went with this company in July 2025, I paid an extra hundred pounds to get a gold rooms Plus a grand. I then got to my destination and they said there wasn’t any Gold rooms available I’ve got put in a room that was meant for two people with four single beds back to back. The room was completely disgusting. The shower was absolutely gross growing mould when I had a shower I felt more dirty honestly this place was literally disgusting. The hotel was so rundown. It was ridiculous. There was no very good jobs out there. They didn’t help you get a job. The jobs were awful. I wanted to be a Shot girl and there was no Shot girl jobs available. All you had to do was PR and stand outside. It was literally a disaster.if I was you save your money and do not waste your time with this company. I am still waiting for a refund. They are literally scammers and they have took my money and ran away!!!!

So if you are a part of rep Route I will not be taking this down until I get a full refund of what I paid you. They told me to take this down so then I could get a refund. I took my complaint down and I never received one so here is my new complaint, thank you very much so if anyone wants to work away abroad this year in 2026 please please save yourself as this company is dreadful.

We’re sorry to read that you feel dissatisfied with your experience, however we feel it’s important to address several inaccuracies in your review so that future customers have a clear and factual understanding.

Firstly, regarding accommodation:
You were shown videos and images of the exact accommodation prior to arrival, and your booking confirmation (issued 10th October) clearly stated the hotel you would be staying in. This accommodation has never been advertised as having kitchen facilities. Despite this, you were mistakenly allocated a Silver Tier room instead of the Gold Tier you paid for, and we have accepted responsibility for this error. As a result, you have been offered a £50 refund, which represents the full price difference between the two room tiers.

A request for a full package refund is not justified, as all other elements of your Workers Package were delivered as agreed.

With regard to room cleanliness:
The room you were allocated was the same room shown to you prior to arrival. Cleaning services are provided on scheduled days and times, and guests are required to keep rooms in a condition that allows cleaners access. Based on both staff reports and the images shared, cleaners were unable to access the room during scheduled cleaning times. At no point did you raise a formal complaint on-site or request a room change, despite Rep Route offering seven different accommodation blocks and openly encouraging guests to contact the rep team should they wish to move rooms.

Regarding employment support:
Rep Route hosts weekly recruitment days where guests can secure available job roles in resort. Shot Girl work was secured for you prior to arrival, and this was communicated directly. Unfortunately, you did not attend the recruitment event or engage with the resort rep team, and therefore did not utilise the recruitment support provided. Job availability can fluctuate daily in resort, and no specific role is ever guaranteed beyond what is communicated and offered.

We stand by the resolution offered and believe it represents a fair and proportionate outcome based on the facts of the booking.

Rep Route made my summer unforgettable! I went to Ibiza and everything was organised perfectly, from airport pickup to meeting my roomies. I had a bartending job within days and met friends for life. Couldn’t recommend them more!

this company is an absolute joke. During my stay I faced many issues with the staff of this company. They sell you an amazing holiday and deliver you a bag of shit. The staff are definitely not trained the way they need to be. In addition they love to have hidden fees. When I arrived they requested I pay a 50 euro rep fee which wasn’t stated when booking and a 50 euro damage deposit you’re meant to receive back in CASH at the end of your stay. When my stay was finished they then told us we had to email the admin office to request the deposit back. In doing so I also brought up some points to them as why I was unhappy with my stay and issues I faced. They then told me for me to receive my refund they had to conclude an investigation into the points I raised and refused to even consider giving me my deposit back until I provided the information. I ended up sending all the information I had over and after 30 days they came to there conclusion and said they will refund my deposit back in addition to my gold tier refund( might I add the room tiers don’t exist and every room is the same. 4 beds in one room.) this was 5 days ago and they still haven’t returned my money. I left zante almost 3 months ago and still no sign of my money. Please save yourself the hassle and stress of going out with this money robbing company. It’s probably a lot cheaper to find your own accommodation.

Awaiting responses

Wonders if rep route could clarify a few things.
I have requested after posting a negative review from a parents point of view that I do not wish to receive correspondence via a telephone call but in actual writing to enable all parties clear communications to prevent confusion. Why are you refusing this?

Why when you have an agreement with my daughter not me would you refuse to refund her based on my negative review and refusal to hold a verbal conversation rather than written?

Why you would write in response to my daughters request for a refund, I quote from you admins manager Luke's email :
Despite our attempts to contact Terri, we have not received a response, which is delaying progress. Additionally, on 28 August 2025, our Resort Manager, Jordan, reached out to you via WhatsApp. While the message sent to you was marked as seen, no reply has been received.
We must emphasise that meaningful dialogue is required in order to share feedback, clarify details, and determine an appropriate resolution regarding both the refund and the review. The lack of response to our requests is preventing us from making any progress.
We therefore respectfully request once again that Terri contact us at her earliest convenience so these matters can be properly addressed.

I believe the last correspondence sent to resorts manager Jordan was indeed on the 11/08/25 requesting moving forward for there to be written contact rather than a call. A request which was ignored and a message requesting a telephone call to be booked in.

I feel your team seem to have rather conflicting views, am I delay the process, is my daughter, are you? Who is actually dealing with this situation, Admin or resorts manager?

Reading other reviews it would seem my daughter is not the only person to have to request refunds. You have made agreements with the individual whom attended the desired destination therefore any due monies should be requested and refunded to the person named not their parent as per your agreement I am sure ? So why has she not had her request met and my review be dealt with individually?

I await a written response on this platform which is why I have been given no alternative but use it as my previous request was ignored.

Don’t bother you waste so much money

Don’t bother you waste so much money on people that cant stick to their promises and give you your deposit back they do the absolute bare minimum and their head reps are… well, quite frankly useless.

The only good reps ended up being fired or leaving due to the amount of bullshit the head reps would be giving them whilst they were just trying to help everyone and the head reps go out for meals and drinks partying like they don’t hold the responsibility for guests staying with them.
They don’t care about you it’s a quick money grab and you don’t get anything back not your deposit, not your damage deposit, zilch.

Best part of being out their was meeting and speaking to the locals and they’re so kind they’ll find you better accommodation where you money is actually going to support their community and not a bunch of scam artists.

I would not recommend rep route

I would not recommend rep route, booked with them to do a month in Ibiza, paid £900 and then an extra £100 to upgrade to a private room with balcony and bathroom. When we arrived on the 1st July. There was no airport pick up so we had to make our own way to the accommodation, to be met by a rep who literally only checked us in and then left. Promised wristbands which took us a week to receive them and that’s only because we saw the rep at one of the beach clubs. Everything is a scam. Party week what is that because everything that was stated on their website we didn’t do. We stayed in a hostel which was untidy, shared bathroom, 2 young girls on a floor with men, who would literally shout at us from their balcony when we’re coming back to our room. Even to the point when one of the men’s was waiting for us outside his door just in his pants. And then having to be locked in our room for an hour because he was out in the hallway shouting and spitting everywhere.

And also refusing to return my damaged deposit because I left a few days earlier and not giving them 7 days notice but I had a family emergency.

I will never go with this company again and would recommend anyone to avoid them

Thanks for taking the time to share this review. We are, of course, very disappointed that you did not have a positive experience and will do our best to address the points in which you have raised here.

You mention that costing that you paid for a private room in Ibiza for the one month of peak season being £900. This is quite a standard costing and infact not so different to what many guests would pay for a private room for one week in peak season Ibiza.

The airport pick up, we contacted you via email prior to your arrival to state that the way in which this was offered was that you would take a taxi to the accommodation, provide us with the receipt and that we would reimburse you for this. Upon arrival, as you have mentioned, you were met by our rep who checked you in to the accommodation and later provided you wish wristbands for events that were taking place on the island.

We also shared with you a full itinerary of events that we had planned for you for your first week, to which you did not respond to.

This is the first that we have heard of any incident regarding other guests within the accommodation block. In events like these we ask that you make contact with either our office or any of our resort reps so that we can come and handle the situation. Without any communication regarding this it makes it incredibly difficult for us to handle these. An incident such as the one in which you have mentioned would make it rather easy for us to take action and evict this boy in question with guests safety being a priority for us and also certain rules that we require tenants to follow, which includes respect to others within the accommodation.

In regards to your damage deposit, we make it clear at check in stage that in the event you make the decision to leave earlier than your intended arrival date we require some form of adequate notice so that we can arrange for the return of your deposit. Unfortunately you did not provide this and as such this was the outcome.

It is regretful that you have had this experience and we would be more than happy to discuss any form of compensation in the event that we have failed you in any way. For this, we would be required to instigate an investigation into the points raised and thus we are requesting that you make contact with us via email so that we can begin this process.

SCAM

Don't go to Ibiza. Nothing of the services promised is real. Bugs in the accomodations, no pick-up at airport, no jobs and more important, no refund.
Do not work for REP Route, it's an advise.

Please check your booking confirmation email, should you have one, as after checking our system we have no such reservation under your name and thus don't believe that this review is in relation to a genuine experience with our company.

Our Ibiza Accommodation packages offer Room Only options for those seeking accommodation on the island. Should any of our guests, housed in our accommodations in San Antonio, have any issues with the accommodation all they need do is get in touch and we will do our best to resolve these issues.

Today is the 30th June 2025 and thus far we have received no such contact to state that there are issues with the accommodation.
