Avoid at all costs!
They are an intermediary only. The service is rubbish and when you need to call them it's a premium rate number costing 40p a minute. If you can ever get through to the actual supplier he fobs you off with one excuse after another. They should not be allowed to trade. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

They're a broker (polite description).

They took my money (via PayPal, so ongoing to get it back) and provided a totally unsuitable actual engine supplier and are now refusing to refund me. Despite an email saying "no problem" when I initially requested a refund they're now wriggling like a stuck pig.

Like another reviewer I'm at the opposite end of the country so a personal visit is unlikely (I'm about 500 miles away).

I was going to pay a deposit however reliesed it was a scam. I have a recorded call. Stating they provide me with an engine on addition to the engine already provided. They hide behind the fact that they don’t deal with explaining you need to go to a live chat 💬 that explains everything. Nearly scammed me, won’t be paying anything. Bloody cowboys.

Hiding under enginesod.com keep deposit, they know the legal system and encourage you to take them to court, for amounts under £300 aren't worth through small claims and they know this. Bank flagged as fraud.

They sell fake engines, it doesn’t exist. They sold me an ford tpwa engine but the engine doesn’t exist, they are middlemen and the supplier said they do it all the times and he has a repair shop and he doesn’t have any engine to provide!!

Called the number spoke about an engine no problem, was told it wasn’t exchange and someone would be in touch the minute I bought it.

Paid the deposit, no confirmation email other than a PayPal receipt, I called to speak about it several times and was told this number is only for new orders not existing, they never responded to emails and now won’t refund me.

I now have an email and all it says is “engine now sold” and they won’t refund me 😂

Avoid at all costs, absolute rip off of a company.

Do you research, I never stupidly enough and read their terms and conditions as it looks like they were written by a child.

If I lived closer I would go in person to resolve this but unfortunately I’m at the other end of the country.

Took deposit and then nothing 2 weeks later can’t supply item as I am trying to as scam them !

DO NOT BUY ANY ENGINES FROM THIS COMPANY THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY THEN WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHERE THE ENGINES YOU PHONE THEM AND THAY SAY YOU HAVE TO EMAIL

Change you just to ring them. Luckily looked at reviews before I went and placed a order. Just to speak to them on the phone for couple of mins cost me £8. Total scammers but looks of it.

Don't be fooled, this company DO NOT supply engines they are literally an advertising company you pay (card only, no PayPal) to pass your details onto another garage who had an engine which if your lucky arrives on time and actually works. When it all goes wrong they sont want to know because you have paid them and can't get refunded. Stay away

DO NOT use this company. They take money for recommending a different company that doesn’t exist. They then tell you there is an engine that fits your needs and take over a thousand pounds off you and guess what… no engine arrives! DO NOT use this company

Honestly this company is a scam only has a phone line for new sales and no customer service or anything. They took my depoist for an engine and now i no longer need the engine they are ignoring my messages and emails in regards to refunding me, stay clear if you want to avoid problems

please do not buy engine from this compony , first they take my deposit than i received email of the garage details , i tried to contact them every day they was telling me they going to check and come back to me but never happen , after chasing them for few weeks no joy , i went back to enginesod.com to get my deposit back its about 4 months i am trying but no luck yet

After paying 400£ deposit for an engine which was supposed to cost 1360 online they said if i dont pay more fees they will keep deposit and i will get nothing, ended up paying 1970£, will never buy again and never recomend!

I purchased a replacement engine for my car from Replacement Engines (actual company name East East Mechanical) of Barking.
The quote stated “Delivery: Next Day” but it took a week to arrive despite my phoning to be told each day that it would be there tomorrow. By this time the main dealer who was to fit it had allocated the time set aside to other work so delaying the installation.
Once fitted it was quickly identified that the replacement engine had an oil leak problem. The dealer identified this as being a leaking head gasket and provided a report and photographs which I sent to Replacement Engines. After some discussion over many days we agreed I should take the car to their premises (nearly 100 miles away) where they would repair it for me to collect within 10 days. When I collected it from Replacement Engines I was told the problem had not been the head gasket but an oil seal which had been replaced; the wheel lock nuts had been mislaid but were found when I refused to leave without them; the car was not ready as it had gone to be washed so I had to wait so missing an appointment; the car had been driven 400 miles while in their care (they claimed an extensive road test); and on the way home I discovered a nearly empty bottle of whisky under the seat.
On return I noted it was still losing oil as the stain on my drive was growing. A little later the car broke down and could not be driven. After further discussion Replacement Engines agreed to collect the car and have it repaired by another garage as I had no confidence in them and their quality after the last experience. The car has collected and I was given a date they would return it by. A few days later I was told the repair of the head gasket had been done by them (not the other garage) and the car would be delivered back on the day promised. That day came and it did not arrive. I was then told they could not deliver it for four more days. This was unacceptable as we were going away so I had to travel 100 miles to collect it. Following their repair, after a couple of months it still leaked oil and water.
The costs to me of public transport, fuel/travel, calls, letters, hire cars (for essential days only) came to over £700. I also spent considerable time travelling and communicating with Replacement Engines to try to resolve these problems and still have a drive and garage floor damaged by the oil. I got no compensation.

I've been waiting for almost 3 weeks for the engine. Paid in full but the engine has not been delivered and Replacement engines cant or wont disclose how and when it was shipped.
