I bought the verity suit online
I bought the verity suit online, and followed the advice re sizing up. However, the jacket is too small by a country mile, and the skirts is perfect. I believe that the discrepancy is so big, that there must be a mistake. However, I cant split the skirt from the jacket, so a next size up would be too big on the skirt. As there is no free return, this could prove costly. Add to that the cost of tailoring, its really not worth it, as the fabric is so thin. Overall I was disappointed with the quality of the item, sizing shouldn't be that off, and the fabric is thin. I await the returns procedure. Sorry, Idont live near the shop, otherwise I would have tried it before. Will keep updated. Very nice lass on the phone who tried her best.

The fabric of our Verity suit is thin and was designed to be worn during the summer months or in warmer climates where a heavy suit wouldn't be practical.
Sizing can be difficult, especially sizing for vintage clothing. We try our best to provide detailed size charts so customers can make the most informed decision regarding their size. Those that are still in doubt are more than welcome to email or call us for some 1-2-1 sizing advice.
It's a shame this purchase didn't quite work out for you, but if you would like to return we would be more than happy to discuss this if you want to give us a call on 01484422255.

Bought a pair of trousers for an event ,unfortunately they didn’t fit ,tried on once and returned ,they wouldn’t refund the money .I always take a photo of anything I return for proof of the condition when returning despite doing this and returning as received I was informed that they were dirty ,photos of this sent to me .The trousers left me in perfect condition for which I have proof of however somewhere along the production line they’ve acquired dirty marks ! Not only that they apparently to smell of perfume , this accusation I find incredible and desperate .Despite numerous emails trying resolve the issue they refused to refund the money .This is the first and last time I will use this company to purchase any clothing

Dreadful service..do not order from this company
Bought a hat which was too small..returned it unworn with tag attached. Cost me to return it to have it re sent back to me with the word damaged on the box! The hat is in perfect condition.. this is clearly their way of not issuing refunds!!!

I'd like to start by asking you to reach out to us via help@revivalvintage.co.uk or 01484 422255 as we have tried to contact you via email but it looks like our emails aren't reaching you.
In this instance, your parcel never made it to us unfortunately. What appears to have happened is the courier has marked your parcel as damaged (this could be for a number of reasons) and returned it to sender without ever attempting to deliver to us. We make all of our reviews visible on our website and if you get a chance to take a look you will see this is not something we would ever do to our customers. We value our customers immensely and pride ourselves on our level of customer service so returning a parcel with the words damaged on the box is not something we would ever do.
We would like a chance at putting this situation right for you, but we need your help in doing so. Please get in touch and we can find a solution that meets your expectations.

Disappointed in the item but delighted by excellent customer support
The item was delivered super quick. However, it arrived entirely ceased, partly owing to the poor quality of the cloth which though pure cotton/linen, is really flimsy (hence the creasing) and it’s so diaphanous that one would have to wear something underneath (which, while he website recommends an undergarment somewhere in he small print, for me rather defeats the object of a summer dress!). Whilst the cut and design of the garment is attractive, I believe the flimsiness of the fabric means it will not hang nicely or hold its shape well and the constant slow, low heat ironing required will be overly time consuming. Had the weight of fabric been appropriate I think it would have been a great item. Additionally, whilst the company has a UK profile, the garment label says ‘made in China’ which can signal lack of quality.
The company made strenuous efforts to convince me that the item was of sufficient quality and that their standards are high - to the point where I may consider purchasing from them again. What they DID do, which is excellent, is offer a no-quibble refund on the grounds of my disappointment.

Sorry you feel disappointed with your Melody dress. Whilst we are a UK company but our clothing is manufactured to an equally high standard in several countries. We always fold clothing before dispatch but they can get creased during delivery. We never claim anything that isn't true and this dress is advertised as 55% cotton, 45% linen in the description, hence the creasing. The weight of the fabric is the same as the original 1940's dress and we do stipulate in our listing that it is sheer & you may wish to wear a petticoat.
We do have a very generous returns policy so if there is anything else we can do to help please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Lovely company. I had to return 2 dresses due to ordering overly ambitious sizes.
My refund was processed immediately they received my returns, which was less than 48 hours after posting! Will definitely use again.
