Ok idea. But having received the first box of a coffee not to my taste. I realised I can go to Whittards and buy the same quantity of one of my favourites coffees (still over priced) for less than a random offering from rise

RISE is all about discovery and trying new coffee, from new independent roasters from different origins with different tasting notes! If you know what you like and like drinking the same coffee then we may not be for you, which I fully appreciate can be the case. We only feature small artisan coffee brands that freshly roast their coffee to order. The coffee we feature changes every month so keep an eye on whats coming up as it may be something you like in the future. Take care, Ben and Alice
Rise understood the assignment
Signed up at a food fair on Sunday. Guy I spoke to was super nice guy, not pushy at all. Value for money here is really fantastic. Arrived today and the coffee is on point, or as the cool kids say 'very demure, really understood the assignment'. This subscription will be a keeper.

The coffee supplied in the trial i had…was ok but not good value for money
The coffee supplied in the trial i had was a bit hit n miss - but thats to be expected due to the very personal nature of taste and preference. for me the reason i cancelled my subscription is that i didnt think it was good value for money. 500g of coffee for £25 didnt seem great value for me.

Hey Terry! Thanks so much for leaving the review, we always appreciate all feedback! Thanks for taking the trial and sorry the coffee wasn’t to your taste - we’ve picked two high quality specialty coffees to give everyone an idea of the variety of coffee (one was Brazil with chocolate notes and another from Ethiopia with more floral notes).
In regards to the price, which is £24, we try to keep this as competitive as possible. Each coffee retails at £10-14 and this also includes £3.95 delivery fee, plus the added extras and the info booklet inside, we also have to factor in the costs of running the business and things like the box itself.
We always do we what we can to ensure everyone can try a variety of specialty coffee at the most reasonable price we can.

I have recently purchased a Sage Barista Express machine and was excited to sample varied and delicious coffee from near and far and Rise was the perfect partner. They chose excellent coffee varieties from various growing regions and roasters leaving me always excited to see what's coming.

Great coffee box!
Absolutely loved my coffee box! I got 2x bags of coffee and a canned cold coffee. I’ve never know how much coffee to put into my cafetière or how long to leave it etc so the information in the box was really helpful. The carve blend is delicious. I really enjoyed trying something new and will definitely purchase again!

+ 1% of all sales given back to fund our project to get children into school

This doesn’t take into account bank charges, packaging and all the other costs involved in running a small family business but we do our best to ensure the price is fair and relative to the experience received and will always try to make the pricing as competitive as possible!

A great brew
I’ve only had one box so far but the coffee was fantastic. One natural which made for an unbelievable aeropress brew and another which is currently being used for my espressos.
Very happy with the selection.
If I had any constructive feedback for Rise, it would be that there’s slightly more email communication than I need but I’m sure that’s something I can adjust.
Over all, a good experience.

SIMPLY THE BEST!
I have followed these guys from day one, since I was looking for a coffee subscription that offered a variety of indi speciality roasters each month, and there just weren’t any at the time. RiSE certainly deliver. Phenomenal coffees, brilliant service and I love the surprise treats in each box. It’s like opening Christmas each month. Best subscription I’ve ever ordered!

The RISE subscription is the best
The RISE subscription is a brilliant gift for a coffee lover that keeps on giving. Great coffee, every time something different. Never boring - from the packaging to the choice of coffee, the RISE box being delivered always puts a smile on our faces. It’s great to have such a variety of high quality coffee delivered straight to our kitchen and know that we’re supporting a range of small businesses and artisan coffee producers. The extra treats included in every box are the icing on the cake and can lead to great discoveries (like finding our now favourite brand of peanut butter)!

Fantastic company. They have a excellent customer service. The box smelt gorgeous as soon as I opened it. My first box included two delicious coffees and a treat. Was an information booklet educating you about the coffee and how ethically source. Highly recommend this subscription box. Have put the advent calendar on my wish list too. Check out their website.
